We went to the Golden Fleece Melton with my family to celebrate my mum’s 53rd birthday. We were seated next to the fire, lovely atmosphere and were served delicious food. The staff went out of their way to secretly refrigerate the birthday cake brought in and were meticulous in setting it up, bringing it out and even taking some photos for memories. An absolutely lovely place to celebrate a birthday. Thank you again to the wonderful staff, you made my mum’s night.

Went to the Fleece for the first time and ordered Seniors meals. Wow! The staff were amazing, so helpful, and a shout out to Rhonda who kindly provided me a takeaway container for my leftover soup from the big cauli soup that was the best I've ever had in my life, but I couldn't eat it all! The garlic bread was just delicious. My Husband had the prawn spring rolls and fish 'n chips, thoroughly enjoyed it. The meals, prices, atmosphere you can't go past. Thanks everyone.

Went to have lunch and got told food would be a hour and a half as they had function and told us as they didn’t want to have us seated and wait for food and get a bad review, if you have a function booked then have more staff on it’s a Friday

Went here for a evening meal with friends. Staff were polite and friendly, service was a bit slow. Menu lacks variety for vegitarians and vegans. I ordered mushroom burger, which consisted of three slices of mushrooms, one slice of lettuce and cheese in a bun with chips. Definitely not worth $26 and not as nice as the beetroot bun and burger and chips, the Golden Fleece used to serve.

We attended Saturday night, whilst it was busy the staff were polite and prompt. Kimberly was all service with a smile. Alana is Gold!! I have worked in hospitality for 30 years and watching Alana work the floor, was entertsining!. Alana doesn't stop, she is like that Eveready bunny! And all with a smile and charm. The food was delicious! We will definitely return!

This place is hopeless, it took a full 30min to get coffee n cake for 5 of us, (the $12 special - this place is not cheap) in fact, only 3 ordered the cake because they didn't have enough to go around (11 am Saturday and the place was empty). One sent theirs back as it was frozen, they said they would microwave it but we never saw it again.
The waitress broke one of the fundamental laws, the manager came out n instead of apologising made the excuse that they were really busy last night ???
I don't believe the other reviews are genuine.

Super quick service, food was very tasty and staff were also very friendly. Little bit of variety on the menu which is good and everything was hot so we had no complaints at all.

Soup of the day, not a fan of the pumpkin soup. Taste like a ready made powdered soup just added water and heated. Roast of the day pretty good with the price. Heard all the life stories of the ladies behind the bar. Could have been a little bit more discreet was having their little chats..lol all in all loved the place.

Service was not the best. Requested cheesy garlic bread, and it came with bacon. The roast had about 4 wedges and cold vegetables. The apple crumble was good but horrible presentation. As you can see in the photo.

Removed four stars as it was but pricey but food was good. 3 1/2 stars but couldn’t give it half star more here. Christmas in July coul have been jazzed up was not very great entertainment wise nor exciting food menu.

Nice pub meal, plenty on the plate and very filling. Meals delivered to other tables looks fantastic. Friendly staff, clean amenities. A tad noisey and had trouble hearing my partner speak. $28 for a parmi, you can decide on that?

Just came in to have breakfast and after 20 mins of waiting i decided to go and asked whats going and the two ladies who are working gave me attitudes playing the victim card...
The service is terrible. I think they are racist. They serve white people first and i was waiting there way before those people..just not on! Most of young people staff are fantastic.

It's a nice pub to take your family for casual dinner. Food prices aren't that cheap for what you get but you can still get a decent meal. Preferably a place to go to if you love the pokies. Not the best selection of tap beer which I was the most disappointing with.

It is a clean, comfortable bistro that has a very nice relaxed vibe and has great decor. Great meals, with something for everyone. Do yourself a favour & give it a try, as I am certain you won't be disappointed! 👍

I had not been here in several years but when our family of four had dinner here on new years eve I was pleasantly surprised. Service was very quick even though it was fairly busy and all of our meals were delicious. Highly recommended!

I had lunch here and it was quite lovely. The only down side was that I got handed a beer glass that was dirty, but a quick chat to the staff and it was all sorted. The food was good, the bbq parma was maybe top 10 of all parmas I've had but I'll have to have it again to confirm.

Had our anniversary in the function room and it was terrific. The food, the service and and the function room itself were exceptional!

Fantastic management at this venue. I love what they are doing to support local veterans and supporting the local young diggers.

Extramaly good costumer service we orded a salad and we realised we couldn't have it we got free refil on all drinks and free chese of the day and all the food was worth the price all the staff are also really nice

Been here twice and service is very average. Staff forgetting orders, mixing orders up and not knowing what’s on the menu when asking a simple question such as what sauce is available. Waiting to be designated a seat too long. Very poor TAB facilities. 2 Sky Racing screens that is located in an extremely small area (only 2 tables available for seating). I wasn’t able to watch the racing because these 2 tables were already occupied. Very poor. On the flip side, food tastes nice.
