Worst ( expired) beer and worst customer service vip lounge in Sydney Australia. I ordered 2 glasses of northern tap beer . The beer tasted like water and I asked the bartender if she can do something about it. She asked me to talk to her manager. I went to talk to her manager and she wasn't willing to do anything about it but instead buy another beer. In between comes the security guard and he was very rude and he asked me and my friend to come outside. He said to give my name and come tomorrow for another beer. It was the worst customer service I have faced in my whole life and they were raciest from the beginning. I will suggest all the customer not to go here since they judge the customer by their nationality and don't care about their feed back. I will never go this VIP lounge and suggest all the customer not to go here as well. Thanks

Went there on Thursday night, wanted to try my lunch but too busy so I left. Very nice gaming room.

Very traditional food. Minimal English speaking staff and menu mostly not in english. Food was yummy though, place was clean and tidy. Parking was very challenging so would be better if visited with public transport.

This bar is way better than the Ritz next door. The beer is cheaper and seems more welcoming. I prefer the smaller places as they are more friendly as the ritz treat you like a number not a customer.

The staff always greet you with a smile which is nice to see after a hard day of work, the service is outstanding. I've been to a lot of pubs in Sydney and this is the best.

The manger and staff are all great to chat with this place is clean and tidy and has a vast variety of different type of pokie machines that will suit your need free drinks for people playing pokies overall this place has been good to me 🤞 I hope it still continues to give luck check it out next time your in the hurstville are and 🙏☮️👍🤫

The kiwi manager at this bar is honestly the nicest guy! He goes above and well beyond in terms of service. I honestly left the pub in the most elevated happy mood purely because of his energy. The world needs more people like this.. this pub is very VERY lucky to have him

Since the renovation
The bright light outside makes it more welcoming
Like the open space at the front for drinking beer
Privacy in VIP lounge is amazing
Like how they got 2 or 3 machines at once

Pleasant enough place for a drink, but still has issues with the air-conditioning, typical conglomerate run bar, only redeeming feature is the friendly staffs

Nice relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and locals. Front bar had a big window seat to watch passers-by, back area is where the poker machines are which has their own bar and staff. Upstairs has a restaurant (dumpling house) prices are pretty reasonable, however their wine selection isn't that great.

Man the Chinese bartender girl was so rude.. Man you work in hospitality at least you can be good to people.. fire that girl with the specs she is very rude and inhospitable... We come for a drink and that attitude will get your customers down. What a shame that you hire people with in experience...

It is the best pub in the area. I would recommend it to anyone who want to relax and chill out in a relaxed and safe environment. Gus the security and staff are very friendly and helpful.

I have been coming to Golden Tiger for 3 years now and I will never step foot in here again.
Avoid this pub at all costs. The licensee, Nat is racist to Nepalese. She targets Nepalese and gets the security to kick them out. It is disgusting how she does not treat her customers as human beings.
I will be contacting Iris in regards to having her terminated.

I had the misfortune of attempting to visit this establishment recently, only to be met with blatant racism and baseless accusations. Despite being sober and looking forward to a pleasant evening, I was denied entry under the ludicrous assumption that I was already intoxicated. It's clear that the management's discriminatory attitudes tainted what could have been a enjoyable experience. I would strongly advise against supporting a business that promotes such despicable behavior.
Never visit this place esp when there’s security guy with glasses on !

If it was some months back with old decor I would have given 3 stars but after the decor was upgraded this place has become one of the best pubs in this area. Cheap beer, great staffs, nice smoking zone. Best thing is that the common hangout place and pokkies place has been separated. No more constant beeping sound to be heard while drinking. Great.

Great location for a pub, especially if you have to catch a bus or train. The beer is usually good and the is a good selection of beers. Unfortunately there is also a gaming area which does get very busy as Hurstville patrons usually love to have gamble hundreds of dollars.

From when did a pub in sydney stopped accepting international passport? Was there today and the bouncer didn't let me in because I had my passport on me saying its the company policy. If that's the policy most of the pubs would be empty. Tried to give 0 stars but couldn't haha

From the south west, but I do enjoy the ambience and the atmosphere that this small pub has to offer. I tend to enjoy the days being there, watching American football or basketball there. Great service and none of those staff that are rude.

came after work to have a drink. slightly dirt boots from work and they didn't want to let me in. that's fine by me . I'll spend my money elsewhere. a form of discrimination for a tradie.

A welcoming pub with a bit of casino feel. What makes the place a bit different is the ability to get such nice food from upstairs and eat it with a beer downstairs. The staff were friendly and helpful (and quite attractive). Definitely worth a visit.
