What an absolute delight this pub is again. It’s taken many years but it finally feels like it’s come back to its previous glory. Great food, reasonable prices and the music is a regular occurrence. Can’t ask for much more. Well done!

Went to Bendigo on a holiday stumbled upon this place in the hotel guide book and it didn't disappoint service was above and beyond (shout out to our awesome waiter Finn). Food was delicious and taste especially liked how they had a separate GF menu for me to look at. Loved the inclusive toilets they had there.
Also happy hour cocktails were awesome definitely worth the price
Definitely would come here again when in the neighborhood.

Went for the Tuesday$10 meal of fish and chips and hamburger with chips.they also have steak $15.loved it so fresh.very friendly and beer garden.the fish had some salad which I ate before taking pictures.had a local beer from Castlemaine.went well with my meal

We enjoyed everything about Golden Vine Hotel, Food was excellent, delicous, served quickly and hot, Bar Staff friendly, helpful,didn't have to wait. Wait staff, friendly, well mannered, and super fast, Johnny Cash Concert was a Smashing Hit for us enjoyed every moment of our first night at the Golden Vine Hotel we will certainly be back and bringing friends

There is a lot to like about the Golden Vine Hotel at 135 King St Bendigo, that is because there is a lot going on. Depending on the night, you will find trivia, live bands, pub choir and more. We popped in for a meal; I had the Lemon Pepper Calamari with wonderful crispy chips and tartar sauce. The meal really hit the spot. We found the staff happy, friendly and welcoming. What more could you ask for?

Old school pub bringing back live music and good times. A well thought out menu and kitchen that accommodates dietary requirements. Always delicious food and friendly team looking after you.

Ok wow, driving through stopped for a cheeky drink and a band called Diminished Reason was playing live - (local Ballarat band) and they blew the lid off!! I'll definitely catch them again next time... The drink was pretty good too haha 🙌🙌

Nice venue for a Saturday night out.
The food was in American size.
Friendly and helpful staff.
Good parking.
Live music.
Good vibe.
It was a shame that I missed the music festival. Will be back next time I'm in town.

Nice pub, renovated in a manner that creates a pleasant bright environment but retains the old historic character.
Delicious lunch menu, very well priced.
Very friendly service.

New owners have improved it a bit. Pretty good place for drinks with friendly staff.
If you order food order it at least 30 mins before you think you will want it. They over cook a lot of stuff though.

My mum and i decided to treat ourselves to lunch today at the Golden Vine hotel as they had $10 midweek lunch specials . Imagine my surprise when our meals arrived! The owners couldnt have been nicer or more accommodating and the meals were amazing. Great value for money and beautifully presented. We will be returning soon ☺

Love the Golden Vine. Very reasonable prices and favourite easy enjoyable meals for that price. Of course you could silent sms get more. It’s all delicious. And the drinks are great!

I went there to have a $10 lunch today but sadly the prices have had to be increased to $13. The fish and chips and salad did not disappoint and it was both delicious and filling. The staff are friendly and attentive and the meal was prepared exactly as I asked. A pleasant surprise was the live music. Altogether it was a thoroughly enjoyable meal. I only hope that few people read this so it doesn't get too crowded.

Is ok. If you book for a live music gig, make sure you book a table in the bistro otherwise it's standing only or sit away from the performer. Jinking loud. I won't do the live music gig there again.

Have driven from Melbourne specifically to see several bands and artists play here, on multiple occasions.
Kitchen struggled to keep up with demand during the gig. Whilst tasty and HUGE, the smoked ribs were quite tough. Sauce was delicious though. Porterhouse was also delicious, although more on the well side of medium, rather than medium-rare as ordered.
Bar staff are friendly and efficient. Drinks and meals seem reasonably priced.
The highlight though, is definitely the live music.

Great old real pub, we were there for a wedding function in the beer garden.
They had some awesome metal bands playing there on the same night. Bloody awesome.
Food was very impressive too.

Food is reasonable, with large servings and good prices. The venue is a little dated but has a relaxed atmosphere and supports local live music.

Enjoyed the night. Only upset was they put our table in the bar area, right by the door. It was freezing every time someone came in.
Being a busy pub, that was a lot of times.

Cheap meals although not large. Sticky date pudding will make you thirsty. Choc mousse delightful. Menu not extensive but adequate.

Certainly a unique and eclectic mix of characters at this locals pub. Live music Friday and Saturday nights and something in the calendar pretty much every other day they’re open. Crowd skews older which isn’t surprising given drinks are expensive, even at happy hour prices. Service is excellent.

Brilliant, each night a different thing, check out the drive by notice boards. New owners since December 2021.
Food amazing, friendly staff. Coffee Cake, toasties in the afternoon.
The whole place has a new revamped feeling of welcoming staff.

A great place to rock with the Hillbilly and then Pigs. Great night in a fabulous atmosphere. Love Goat people.
We ate before we arrived so didn't have any food. Those guys serving were great as they reasonably quick in a packed bar!
