We went there for dinner on Friday night. We got there at 5pm for the advertised 5-8pm $10 cocktail hour.
When I approached the bar and asked to see the $10 cocktail menu the waitress had a very shocked face and said I must have the incorrect pub, or perhaps I had looked up one of their other venues. I said no found the advertised cocktails on their website, showed her to which she then said she would make a call to her husband who was the licensee. She got off the phone and said he knew nothing of it either and that they had had no email or advice of the cocktail hour therefore they could not oblige.
The meal was okay, but we both wanted the wagyu special unfortunately they only had one. The wings had also sold out.
The younger waitress and the barmaid were both very polite, but I am still quite shocked. And it is still advertised today. So don’t go in expecting cocktail hour on a Friday night between 5-8pm or any other night I’m guessing.

We popped in for lunch, and we were so glad we did. The staff were so welcoming and they were all happy & smiling. Kinda wish my local was like this place.
We loved the Cajun Chicken Wings and the Chicken Parmi with salad & chips. The portions are very generous. Just well cooked tasty food.
I would definitely go back!

Went out for a casual evening with my wonderful friend, we both enjoyed the establishment, found the staff extremely helpful, polite and friendly with such respect towards the clientele.
Anyone visiting the Clarence Valley should pop in for a meal and see what all the fuss is about.

Was there for a friend's child bday . Staff was lovely. They sang happy birthday. Wonderful food. Definitely going back again.
We ordered one of the parmi's and the chef went out of his way to provide dietary requirements as requested. 10/10

Up from Melbourne and went for dinner at this Pub
Couldn't fault anything.
Anna and Jess were excellent.... so friendly and obliging.
And compliments to the Chef.
..the steak was superb and my wife's chicken schnitzel was beautiful.
Wonderful pub.

The Restaurant was quite when we arrived and after a drink we placed our order. We have dined at the restaurant multiple times before for lunch and have been pleased with service. However there night shift are quite different. We waited nearly an hour for our meals watching tables that ordered after us receive their entrees and mains while we waited. Eventually I questioned our long wait to the kitchen and was told it was because the steak was ordered well done and it was a half hour wait. I pointed out that it was nearly an hour and was told it was on its way. About 10 minutes later it finally arrived and were rudely asked if we were informed when placing order it was a 40 minute wait for well done steaks ( which we weren't ). So now we begin to eat the steak was well done chips cold my salmon had sat for so long sauce had soaked in vegetables luke warm and the pumpkin was as if it had just come out of fridge. Sorry guys but not rushing back

Thanks to Staff for offering me the ensuite for my sleepover. The Staff were lovely, the lamb shank off the menu was HUGE but so good! Good luck with the renovations & I'd definitely stay again. Thanks everyone 👍

Re-renovated & looks mad. The game room & service within that area is awesome. Meal was served fresh with good value for money. Partner & I couldn't eat it all.
Bar/kitchen staff came into game room to let us know lunch was ready for us.
Very friendly & efficient service given by all. Nibblies offered while gaming made it feel like an old pub with old school ways.
Definitely be returning for meals, gaming & drinks. Experience was made very enjoyable.
You have helped put faith back into the true meaning of what I think a pub should be. Good old fashioned service given with a smile and very polite.
Well done Grafton Hotel I say. My faith is restored. Definitely make it a complete family outing real soon

Quick service and fresh food. The place has really stepped its game up after the renovations. The staff are friendly and the meals are quite large. Good value for money.

Overnite stop in Grafton. Walked to this hotel for drinks and dinner. Steaks were like butter and very tasty. Even the chips were crisp yet fluffy - the best chips I've had in a pub for years. Service was prompt, friendly and attentive.

My husband and I had dinner here. We were welcomed in by lovely, friendly staff. The menu would suit most people. I had a Thai beef salad which was big, beautiful and very tasty. My husband had beef cheeks ragout which he loved, although too big for him to finish. Will definitely eat here again.

Lovely spot on the river with a great atmosphere. Plenty of drink selections and the dinner options are also suitable.

Its a must visit.|Me, the wife, and the little one went there for dinner last night.|I got the wagyu, the wife got the grilled barra and the little one got nuggets.|The wagyu was amazing! Cooked perfectly and the wife said the barra with that sauce was some of the best barra she has had.|We were very impressed to see fruit with the kis meal, it can be hard to get a yong kid's to eat veg when you're out, as any parent can tell you, so to see fruit for the kids is absolutely brilliant 👏 and she loved it.|Definitely will be back 10/10

I stayed upstairs in hotel for 2 nights and ate downstairs and played pokies, have to say that it was a pleasant gold stars all round... The staff are good at what they do.

I enjoyed the best meal I have had in Grafton in the 23 years I have lived here. The fish cooked to perfection, the vegetables, I absolutely loved. Then the dessert WOW, yummy, displayed so beautifully. Congrats to the Chef and staff. Also the lovely man at the bar was 5 star as well. Thank you Grafton will be back.

Great motel, very clean, quiet and wonderful people who went out of their way to accommodate us for a stopover after what was a truly harrowing day. It made our journey home that little bit less stressful after a good night’s sleep. Highly recommended!

French doors onto a long verandah overlooking the Clarence River and parkland.
Room basic pub style with shower and toilet down the hall. Sink in room.
Overhead fan.
Comfortable bed.
Lovely staff.

Excellent bistro. Huge meals. Lamb cutlets nearly beat me. Good quality cold beer on tap. Love my Coopers. Friendly staff. I'm definitely coming back.

Dinner at Grafton Hotel on my vacation with hubby, nice and friendly staffs and the food was nice, fantastic and good value

Didn't stay here but had dinner and drinks here. Food came out fairly fast and what a awesome size for the price. Great food, atmosphere is good and the staff are friendly and always uo for a chat. Located right in the heart of town. Easy to walk to from most motels.

Clean and contemporary so you might expect it to be well patroned, but no. What really let's this place down is the service. It's not busy, and to be truthful it's easy to see why. A vibe (besides gambling and pokies) and personable service is sadly lacking.

At first glance seemed okay, meal prices were average - nothing overly expensive.
Service was good for the most part, the chef wasn't too happy with us sending an undercooked meal back.
But the rest of the staff were accommodating.
Food overall was very ordinary, nothing to rave about.
Whoever thought fake plants sporadically hanging from the ceiling looked effective is objectively wrong.
