wonderful and welcoming staff, funny and kind regulars, great beer and great vibes! love doing friday kareoke here. i know the staff have faced some cancel culture BS and i think it is just that, BS!!
they obviously dont know the area or the people and are running their mouths off. i love this place and i wouldnt drink anywhere else, ill always drop in when im local #6056forever â€ïžđ»

What an AMAZING venue for bands. We had 10 people or dinner in the resturant, the Asian meals were fantastic and pasta wonderful. Every person enjoyed their meal. Then off into the band room to watch PINKED. It was really busy but didn't feel cramped, the crowd was awesome and the sound system was perfect. We will be back or the next one for sure.

Tried the revamped hotel. Food was great and the service friendly. Prices were reasonable and are very competitive with the other venues in the area. The 'Midland' stigma hopefully will disappear with the excellence of venues like this. Great potential with it's dining facilities and outdoor entertaining. I hope locals and outsiders will support this venue to the extent it deserves!

I just wanna thank you both for providing a safe and secure place where, we could drink n be merry. Listen to quality music. Providing a safe place to make new friends, with some of the most unlikely people I wouldnât see myself making friends with under normal circumstances. As well as your many charitable good works, donât think for a second that none of it went unnoticed. Your legacy will be missed and I will hold a lot of other bars to your standards and legacy.

The venue is outstanding since the renovation that has been done it.
They kept some old world charm and modern facelift giving it a more contemporary look. But it doesn't match the outdoors with indoors.
The dining room has a cafe style with tables and chairs so it wasn't comfortable and it felt like it got left out as the outdoors had got the huge makeover.
The food would have been scored much higher if we hadn't seen that it was heated with takeaways containers.
Just a warning don't take your drinks from the bar to the tables and not tell the table staff that you have already paid for them. Because it will be added to your bill at the end so you get double charge on drinks.

Sunday was my first visit to The Grand Central after seeing a great review from a friend who visited during the week.
We came in a group of 8. The meals came out very staggered which was annoying.
Three of us ordered together then the remaining five went up to order. Also the menu on the website is different to whatâs available.
Two of the first groups orders came, then one from the second group before the third meal came for group one. The last meal to come was on a different style of plate which was a little odd.
The food however was fantastic! The spring rolls and samosas were cold in the middle and had to be sent back but they were delicious.
The band playing was great however they were soooo loud we literally had to yell at each other and the staff.
Overall we came for a good lunch and a catch up. Food was great but a few things we thought we should mention.

Staff always friendly. Mid week dinner specials are fabulous value.
We have had the 3 different types of Parmi and the steaks at different times. Never been disappointed.
Great place to catch up with the mates for a frothy and a yarn.
Could do with a vegan option or 2 for the missus tho.

Simple food but done competently. Fantastic live music on Friday evening. Very personable staff. Beer of the week is cheap. The beer garden is pleasant and the interior is nicely renovated without forgetting its heritage.

Quiet on a Wednesday lunch. Great service Wifeâs âparmy â was very good and my rare steak cooked to perfection However the steak was very poor. tough and heaps of gristle. Both sides and chips beaut. Pity about the steak

Pleasant is a great vibe for this hotel đ Food is delicious. Staff are always willing to help & so nice. Very clean & very nice feel about the whole venue! Bar, sit down bistro, outdoor garden setting is genuinely feel good near the pizza oven!! Well done!! One of the best in and around Perth we have been to đ

My wife and I enjoyed a very nice lunch. I had the steak sandwich with a pint of Carlsberg. The steak was 'melt in your mouth' delicious and a $6 pint is hard to argue. My wife had creamy garlic chicken pasta with a Lemon, lime & bitters in a pint glass. Her meal smelled awesome and the chicken was moist and tasty although maybe a tad too much pasta. The barman that greeted us and took our order was friendly and knowledgeable with the menu. Will definitely return

I would not recommend this pub to any customers. Over the years, my experiences there have been consistently poor. On many occasions, I have seen Rick, a regular customer and friend of the owner, mistreat other customers and staff, and the owner has consistently been content to let it happen. I don't know another venue that would allow such behavior. It's clear that the owner prioritizes the money spent by a regular over the well-being of his customers. Given this track record, I would not feel confident that the owner would be able to handle any difficult situations that may arise for customers. Future customers should look for a better establishment where their comfort and safety are a priority and where such poor behavior towards customers is not tolerated.

It was nice to see tablecloths on the tables and both cutlery and chopsticks. However, vegetarian/vegan choices were limited and there was a mix up with my order. This was corrected, but the roti came out with very little vegetables in them.

I love this pub. How grand!! Friendly staff, friendly service, excellent beer garden. Kareoke was a blast. Thankyou for the fun times!!
I love coming here. When I drop into the beer garden they always seem to play my fave band RHCP!!! And not just one track. Sometimes 6 in a row, and I don't wanna leave....
I should rock up when the kitchens open,
The hot chips/wedges are delicious!

I like this place. They're trying really hard to make sure the patron is happy. Its not overpriced and the food is really good. Nice and bright atmosphere 10 beers on tap. Wine selection is fairly good. Fridges are full.Barmaid is always smiling. Can't ask for more than that.

I just popped in for a quick drink and met the new owner. She seemed lovely and has done a lot for the place. Really opened up and nice atmosphere. Great bands also. Didnât have any food but looked delicious. Really hope people of midland and elsewhere will give them a chance!

If your coming here for a drink yeah its okay other than the fact you have to ask to use the toilet and they have to walk with you and let you in.
If your coming here for food, DON'T the food here is the worst food i have ever order at a pub we walked out without eating our meals anyone could make better food at home.

I enjoyed this place immensely the tasting platter for two which is in the entree section was sizable and would be a full meal for two light eaters. There was no problem with them accommodating our desire to eat in the Garden. I certainly would like to go back and sample more of the options available.

Grand Central Hotel is the place to go to if you want to relax, unwind, listen to music from some great Perth bands in a unique ambiance. Whether you go there for a meal or just a snack, the food is always delicious and well presented. My brother celebrated his milestone birthday at the Beer Garden and it was simply awesome thanks to the owners, Hani and Carl and their hard working staff. I highly recommend you visit GCH and experience great hospitality!

First time visiting, I absolutely loved this place! Great staff and service, yummy food, great patrons and awesome atmosphere. Lovely to my wee boy! Will definitely be back to visit!

First time there in a Monday night. I had the parmi special, chips were great but parmi was a bit small compared to other pubs.
Misses had the grand burger, get your money's worth but the bun was a cheap coles style small bun.
Reno is a huge improvement, just need to change the entrance doors to the beer garden. They are sliding doors , which makes it hard when carrying drinks.

Awesome Karoake.
Great food. Just ashame the staff do not listen or care about what you order. I ordered Garlic bread to be served with my main meal. Yet it came out 10 minutes before my mains. Asked for sauce to be on top yet came as a side
Yes I realize very small issues but why ask these questions when you order if they don't follow

A nice little spot for drinks in central Midland, food and drink choices are good and prices are what you'd expect post pandemic, reasonable parking on site otherwise street or Centrepoint shopping centre across the road are options, bottle shop attached, walking distance to train station and local shops. Friendly staff and good customer service, nice outdoor alfresco area

Absolutely awesome place, Staff are fantastic and always welcoming the menu is very well priced and beautiful food, the new owners are accomadating to your needs and always a chance to meet some new friends
