We recommend The Grand hotel to our clients, we have always had good feedback from them. Great food? Great atmosphere.. 👍 👍👍👍👏

Went in there on a casual Tuesday night to have a drink with two of my girl friends. The only other person in the ENTIRE venue was another young girl. We had to leave because we felt so unsafe but felt so concerned for the poor young worker and her safety. Appalling, look after your staff and your guests!!

Walked in then straight out. No aircon in what I presume is the main bar next to the seedy nightclub section and a handful of people that look at you as if you have two heads.

This place is disgusting , it smells like vomit I would not recommend going here at all. The manager should pay more attention to this matter get the floors properly CLEANED every week instead of turning there back on this issue. if the venue had there hygiene up to scratch then the place would be great but until then the place is known for the sickening smell and sticky floors.

The new section is great but the original building needs a bit of restoration work. The charm of the oldness is masked by the musky smell of sweaty drunk people who probably missed toilet seat when they went to pee

The gaming area needs upgrading & not very many machines most r outdated ones. But it's clean

The baldy hair security guard is a sleaze bag.
He likes to feel girls up and when they take offence to his advances, He gets them back by kicking the guy out that they end up talking too on the night.
He gets one of his security guard friends to go into the pub and find a reason to kick em out, the guy then walks out with the security guard and as there coming out of the exit door, he gets the poor unsuspected guy from behind and attacks him.
Yes CTV should validate my claims.
But apparently the pub wants to turn a blind eye to this.
So I have gone and spoken to the TV about this and the newspaper.

Staff at the Grand are amazing. I lost my wallet there a while ago and an employee called Eliza went out of her way to return it to me recently. Give the woman a pay rise!

No toilet seat, fair bit of vomit. Smelt gross and looked really dirty. The staff were super nice though even the security guards.

my sober friend didn't get let in because apparently he had been cut off already (even though it was his first time visiting).. place wasn't fantastic anyway, would definitely suggest you look for another club

Literally worse then fever, and that's saying something. Always smells of vomit and feces even in the outdoor area. I've been coming for several years because it the only place open and I hate myself every time. Would give it a 0 but can't

I went to The Ables night out tonight which is for the disabled. Truth is I had a ball, facilities were good, atmosphere was awesome.

Hayden is one of the best bartenders i’ve ever met always down for a chat and an around good bloke definitely deserves a pay rise

Had so much fun there when I was in Wollongong ! Apparently it’s not as good as it was a year and half ago, but should still be the best place to go out in the city

First I had ever been and not only did it smell disgusting I was kicked out with in an hour of turning up and the security guard didn't understand I wasn't for around and that my stuff was all inside and I had no way of contacting the people that took me I was left feeling vulnerable outside with no way of contacting my friends. My main problem is the fact how rude their security guards can be how would they have liked it if I was as rude to them as they were to me

Alcohol is normally cheaper here, the atmosphere is different than any of the other bars and clubs around. If you have friends around and want cheap drinks then come here first.

5 dollar beers free pool in Wollongong can't do better brilliant place and the people were great and he brought out snacks loved it
