What a great venue, plenty of parking around the venue. The staff were friendly, efficient and helpful and the meals were delicious and ready very quickly. We had booked and were there at opening so there wasn't many people when we arrived but it filled up quickly, so I recommend that you book. You can book online so that is a good option. The bruscetto was the best I have eaten. The others meals were delicious and a good size and the kids meal and activity was so great.

We ordered ravioli last night for $22, totally disappointed. It was served up cold, we got it microwaved only to discover it was totally flavourless, dry and un edible. Could have bought a better one at Aldi for $5.on a good note The waitress was fantastic and polite

We often go to the Grand junction and have noticed the meals declining over recent months.
We popped in last night for a Parma and I have to say it was disgusting. Over cooked, hardly any sauce and burnt cheese. I chose to have vegetables with my Parma and being a Sunday night with roast lamb on the menu I expected something more than undercooked carrots and thinly sliced zucchini with no seasoning / butter and a over cooked piece of potato. I was asked how the meal was as I hadn’t eaten it and I told her it was average and explained why.
She told me they were having problems and were asking for feedback.
We won’t be back.

Unfortunately my daughters and I are allergic to dairy and when asking for dairy free meals for myself and her the chef made an uproar then said it was ok to make them. We were seated directly infront of the kitchen and could hear the chef joking about putting dairy in the meals, that “steak has dairy” then laughing, then we watched him wink to his work colleague and put dairy all over my steak. We asked for our money back and left. It was appalling behaviour and if it was my restaurant that chef would not have a job. Kudos to Linda at the front who was great to deal with though!

This venue got 2022 Regional Hotel of the Year.
The service was prompt for 8.15 at night on a saturday night, seated us and ordering is done at the countr. bar is seperate but near by the meals. The bar staff were so lovely and talkative and polite and not only quick but made lovely cocktails and offered to help carry them to the table or bring out seconds at a different time though i chose to just take them. The food portions were excellent, had the special parma which was a cheeseburger parma x2 for the table and a fettuccine carbonara. The cheezeburger parmas were not on the skimpy side and literally tasted like a cheeseburger minus the bread. There was smashed beef patty, pickles, cheeseburger sauce on top of a parma covered with cheese. Of all the alternative parmas ive ever had (which is alot i generally try parmas everywhere i go) this ranks highly if not the best. The fettuccine was creamy and a great helping. Also was amazed by and loved the free salad bar which had 4 kinds of salads to help yourself to, catering to all kinds of people. We chose to share a plate of each just to give it all a go and no faults to be reported by any of us. We ordered aperol spritz & fruit tingle cocktails; the fruit tingle was one of the best ive ever had even me myself as a bar tender i havent made myself one so good was dead on for taste of a fruit tingle. The aperol spritz was made great just none of us fancied th taste of prosecco and it overpowers the drink because we dont enjoy it but it got better with each sip was bubbly refreshing otherwise.
Highly reccomend eating here and will return again!

This is the second time my wife and I have had lunch here. Food pretty good. Will definitely have lunch here again

This is one of the few places that I have come across thst accualy serves you real food! When they say that the chicken has been hand crumbed that is what you get. Real chicken breast hand crumbed. It's so good! And the fish! Great big pieces of fish not these skinny little bits of processed crap that they try and palm off as fish.. Mine even had a little fish bone in it so I know it was real fish. If this place wasn't so fare away from mine I would eat there all the time. My complements to the chef. Great job. 💖💖💖

Really good pub, tasty hot food and cold beer.
TAB area is a good size with plenty of screens and seating.
Will be back when I'm in the area.

Our meal wasn't great. The chips where cold and stale they were not fresh the Parma was not great it was nothing Mexican about the Mexican Parma. The size where quiet small the meals where served at our table was below average . The service wasn't great neither. We tried it. won't recommend it or be back.

Ordered a meal and received the wrong order . I cut into it to check and had a bite and took it back said it was the wrong one. ( which they knew was the wrong one as they meant they thought it was ) To watch them just add some more topping and give it to the next person. That had ordered it.

Me and my friends had come to dine at the Grand junction restaurant , we had the porterhouse steak , it was amazingly done ordered medium well , but still was very juicy . My friends ordered the butter chicken and said he didn’t hasn't had such an amazing butter chicken before . I would highly recommend this place for a great meal and beer in Traralgon.

I was taken out for my 40th birthday tonight, now I remember why it's been 20 years since I've been here.
Bar service was excellent.
Ordering the food was painful and took ages and was made to do 2 separate orders as it was too big, we had 8 adults.
Garlic bread was good.
The rest of the food was mush/slop/inedible!
The 2 orders came out 30 mins apart, so half of the group had finished and clearing away plates before the other half of the group was given anything.
No apologies, nothing.
Will definitely be another 20 years before I will consider going back!
If you want a photo of the slop that was cabonara I can get it ag🤮😡😥

I visited with 6 friends for lunch. I enjoyed the lunch special fish & chips. Several others did too. We rated them at about 7.5. Others had the steak sandwich - all rated as excellent. One had the lunch special roast. Very good. One downside was the surcharge for using a card. Just a money grab, as far as I am concerned. The Grand Junction Hotel is not a small business by any stretch. I won't be back.

I've had 2 meals in the last 2 weeks. Plain Beef Snitzel/Pepper Gravy/chips/salad & Garlic Prawns were both excellent meals and I'm fussy. Also Sticky Date Pudding was about the best l've had. Proper pepper sauce at last( spicey & hot) how it's meant to be, crunchy fresh golden chips were yumcious. Bravo Grand Junction 👏 🙌

I had Lamb roast of the day with mushroom gravy, my mum had chicken parma and best friend had a chicken parma. Very sticky need better AC

I had a great dining experience at the hotel. The service staff were lovely and took extra care when answering my questions. It was my first time in Traralgon and using chargeback (I was there for work) and they kindly stepped me through the process.
The crispy chicken burger was delicious and my lemon lime and bitters with soda water quenched my thirst! Great people and food!

Had the ravioli and it was barely editable, it was overcooked and the sauce was flavourless. We were a table of eight adults and were made to break up our orders over two separate orders, not a big deal however there was almost a half hour difference from one order coming out to the other. The carbonara, burger and chips had by some of the others were not nice either.

Great steaks, perfectly cooked.
A really clean & friendly hotel.
Staff were fantastic.
If they served Coke it would have been perfect.

Food was nice but a bit pricey for what we got service not much to talk about you got to pick up your own food didn't like this much I think I would prefer to go somewhere else out for dinner where I get served..

emiret amazing cook the food was really good and floor staff good as but there was one staff member Brooke was rued and had a sour look on her face when she approached our tabel to collect the glasses that where there.

Chef Amrit prepared an amazing pumpkin pasta dish I have to say was 10 out of 10.
I highly recommend families to go and have a meal asap!
