Went there today for lunch. Fantastic food. Senior prices and kid's meals available.
Highly recommend the chef's salad I included the grilled chicken. My parents enjoyed the schnitzel my husband the rump steak and my son had a burger.
We had a lovely time. I've given it 4 star's because of the noise any atmosphere is lost due to this. But otherwise it's a beaut place for a bite to eat and a drink.
They have a beautiful kid's areas near outside seating unfortunately there were quite a few kids today so inside was quiter (not by much).
Edit 19th March 2022 A few years have passed since my last review. I have been back many times. The food is always great.
It's still noisy but you can still hold a conversation. The tables now have me&u digital online table ordering if that suits you. Scan the QR code with your phone and you don't have to leave your seat. I didn't order through it but I did scan the code to have a look. I'm impressed I'll definitely give it a try next time.

Wasn't greeted on entry but very friendly staff who went out of there way to help with queries. Food was good but not the best we've had. Something was different in the flavour. The crunch was great in the snitzel and garlic bread. Beautiful fireplace. And mural

Very nice meal, easy to order from table and quick to arrive, not many persons dining but was early evening Tuesday. Ribs and steak were extremely tasty and the pepper gravy one of the best I have had.

The menu displayed on their website is different to the menu in the restaurant. The menu available on their website was the reason we decided to eat here. As it was later into the night and the bistro (no doubt across other restaurants too) was about to close so we didn’t feel we had much other choice but to order something completely different to our desires. Whilst the food came out not even 10 minutes after ordering, it was quite average. We didn’t experience or witness a single positive or helpful staff member during our visit. The Men’s bathroom was very dirty, smelt and paper towels had not been restocked. Overall it was a poor and disappointing experience, we won’t be returning nor recommending to others.

The food was sensational. We eat out around Australia quite a lot. Most of the staff were friendly. A word of advice to the bar staff a genuine smile goes a long way.

Stopped by to have a decent lunch and stretch as we continued our journey to Brisbane - chose this place as it had a kids area so our toddler can play - disappointed that due to covid the kids’ indoor area (as photos posted by people 2 years ago), and outdoor play area are closed. Would recommend parents wanting a play area for the kids during a long drive to go across the road to McDonald’s as their play area is air con/ and indoors and it’s new and epic! But other than that their lunch counter-service menu was delicious and well priced! $16 for rump steak, salad and fries! And the kids’ menu came with fruit! And free drink fir $10-$12! But the chicken nuggets weren’t tasty at all. Only the chips were good.

Pizzas were perfect, fresh ingredients. On road trip to G Coast , great choice to come here. Family friendly, Staff fantastic

Ordered on the app, took 25 minutes for food to arrive, despite not being overly busy.
Ordered two steaks, both medium rare. One came out with a tag indicating it was medium- it was replaced with a new steak within minutes, however the new steak that had medium-rare tags, but was definitely overcooked.
Garden salad was mostly red onion on one plate, whereas the other plate had a good mixture of carrot, cucumber, etc.
Considering the high rating, we left disappointed with the experience.

One of the best pub feeds I have had in coffs not to mention it’s nice and affordable for a great family lunch , great atmosphere!!! COMPLIMENTS TO THE CHEF , just wow . My chicken was done to perfection! And my partner loved his burger, havnt seen him demolish a burger that quick in a while !! The ladies at the BAR were amazing and very helpful! Will be back soon that’s for sure . Our new spot ! :) 5 stars

Meals are always good. I'm not a fan of the Asian salad that comes with the salt n pepper calamari dish.
There are 4 good kids' meals to choose from.
Kids love the playground. It's our go-to place when we want to eat out so we can watch the kids play.

Look, I understand we all have technical issues, but this place needs some sort of procedure to follow when technology stops working.
To not accept cash and just close the bistro when you have a large gathering for a wedding because the EFTPOS is down, to me is totally unacceptable.

I ordered the rump (medium rare) with mash, veg & Dianne sauce. Serving sizes were good. Customer service was great. Good family atmosphere. The steak was closer to medium but was still tender.

Hubby enjoyed his rump steak and chips on the counter lunch menu but I thought the $3 extra for a tiny bowl of pepper sauce was a bit much. I had the chicken schnitzel, chips and salad. I didn't eat much of the chicken schnitzel because it tasted fishy, chips were nice, salad had way too much onion.

Hi ordered a Steak and Ribs meal $44
This is what it looked like very disappointing.Steak was chewy,ribs had no flavour

Have to say. I came 10 minutes before closing the kitchen so good to know that the bar is open till 0000 but the kitchen closed at 2100.
Anyway the salad I ordered was fresh, full, and most of all tasty!
The staff were so friendly and kind.

Had the rump (rare) and ribs, rump was perfectly cooked, and the ribs fell off the bone.
Highly recommend eating here, and I was a chef for 25 years so me giving a good review doesn't come easy.

Great food and friendly staff. Food and drinks are reasonably priced. Trivia is on every Thursday night but not listed on the website. The only thing I was disappointed with was the menu on the website is different to the current menu. If Greenhouse Tavern could fix this up that would be great as the two items I picked before I arrived were not on the printed menu and not available.

Great atmosphere and service. My family always have birthday celebrations and get together here. The staff are amazing also.

Good place to meet up and have a pub meal. Expect it feels a little old and could have some more greenery to hide this fact and fill the large spaces or create a tropical feel. The parma was not too bad it had good quality chicken but was a little dry and the ham was shredded for some reason this is not a good idea. The fried chicken burger was good and the pizza was also better than local pizza shop. Lots to do for the kids, they really enjoyed looking over the balcony and seeing some turtles and eels. Online ordering was a bit silly the names of dishes didn’t really match up with items on menu and you can’t make changes like minus tomato. Easier just go to the bar and order.

Food was alright, had the steak sandwich and for some reason the bread was really tough but it was still a good sandwich. The other meals were battered barramundi and green aussie burger, they were also pretty good and filling. The salad dressing and aoli were good according to the others.

Enjoyed the meal, good size, and price also. Staff are efficient. Its TAD past its best by date for building etc.

Can understand why families would come and enjoy the place but all we wanted was some cold ones and nibbles.
We were welcomed with friendly smiles and greetings but that’s where it all ended.
Have good selection of beer and ciders on tap. Also ordered hot chips and cheesy bread…I’ll let the photo of the cheesy bread speak for itself and you come to your own conclusion.
We ate around the hair as we didn’t want to create a fuss and only said something at the end. I showed and gave the hair affected bread to one of the waitresses who was clearing our glasses and said “please let the chef know about this” and she just had a shocked face and left. No ‘’sorry” or anything. Maybe it happens all the time. Seems like it by the attitude of the waitress. Finished our drinks and nobody cared or came out to acknowledge the gross hair.
Btw I wouldn’t have left this negative feedback if someone had come out to apologise and acknowledged the poor food practice. Hair in food is a big NO-NO. But sometimes it happens…but nope; got nothing and it just shows how poorly managed the place is.
Maybe I should have thrown a fit?
Would definitely not recommend or be back.

A very unique pub, soaked in history and nostalgia. There is a boat in the bar (literally hanging from the ceiling) that circumnavigated Australia. Bar has energy and the bar staff were super friendly. TAB and plenty of screens for those that like to punt. Has the feel of a really good local pub 🍻

Amazing service and nice food. The drinks are well priced and they even lets try the wines! Fried chicken burger was awesome, it was like the KFC in Asia (which is infinitely better than KFC in Australia). The steak was very nice, but a little undercooked. Would definitely be back again
