While location is close to train station, need seperate access from room to car park not through the pub.The access to car park was through pub which was not open till 10am and during checkout I had to carry all luggage on the way to car park through front street, which was not convenient for family with kids.Facilities at Apartment was average but cigarettes smokes stinks at the staircase. Okay for 1 day though as it is in main city.

What a great pub to stay at!
The rooms are big, neat and fairly new. Shared bathroom is great and new, could do with a bit more water pressure but not a big issue. Beer is cold and bar staff are great.
The food was sooo good and exceptional value, great size and quality.
Highly recommend here and will be back.

was not told they were doing construction, all that could be heard from 7am that morning was this, until we checked out. Extremely Loud knocking through all the walls, all morning whilst we were trying to sleep. For a hotel, you would think they’d be more considerate of their guests, worst stay of my trip, unpleasant, don’t bother staying here.

This place is beyond atrocious. From the moment I arrived, it was clear this was going to be a disaster. The check-in was painfully slow, thanks to the rude and clueless staff. The rooms were absolutely filthy, with a horrible odor that made them unlivable. This isn't a hotel; it's a sleazy brothel. The pub patrons use the rooms for disgusting purposes, making the environment unsafe and repulsive. I had to leave in the middle of the night without so much as an apology or a refund. If you care about your health and safety, avoid this place like the plague, especially if you have a family. The two rooms I booked were the most disgusting I've ever seen in my entire life.

This place is an absolute disgrace. I wouldn't wish a stay here on my worst enemy. Check-in took ages because the staff were unbelievably rude and incompetent. The rooms were beyond disgusting—filthy, with a stench that made them completely uninhabitable. This isn't a hotel at all; it's a sleazy brothel. The pub patrons openly use the rooms for revolting activities, making the environment intolerable. I had to escape in the middle of the night without any apology or refund. If you care about your health, safety, and sanity, stay far away from this place, especially if you have a family. The two rooms I booked were the most horrendous I've ever encountered in my life.

The worst service ever, the staffs are horribly rude. Couldn’t complain to their manager as they said he is busy right now .

The workers are very violent the (chubby girl) very violent she rejects giving service and make excuses as she busy chatting around.
I spend thousands of dollar there for months and months got rejected for a drink that cost only $2 that chubby girl assaulted me verbally on many occasions needs a good change in management and the owner should be concerned about it.
The staff lazy sit around on the floor flirting with players, the staff is very unprofessional always lazy poor service unrecommended

The whole venue stinks of cigarette smoke. As soon as you walk into the restaurant, and all throughout our room as there was no insulation and cracks in the floorboards that you could see the people down below!
It was ridiculously loud the entire night until we left early morning. Also, no hand soap in the bathroom. Do not recommend

The venue since the renovation and reopening is amazing! Great service, clean venue and tasty food. A great space for the whole community, family and friends.

Stayed in the apartment. A little musty, but updated. Very large living area, like an American apartment layout. Very large kitchen. Surrounding streets were under construction at night, and building being power-washed; noise didn't bother me, but if a light sleeper, be aware. The hotel has bars and casino underneath that are entertaining. Checkout early in morning was difficult due to the desk not being open.

Staff were emotionless and not very welcoming. Within the club was full of cigarette smoke wafting in from the gaming room. When I questioned who appeared to be the owners behind the bar regarding the smoke they didn't seem too concerned !! A visit from health authorities would see the place shut down. If you are renovating and can't provide exhaust and ventilation you should close until you can. We went elsewhere and entered only through the street to the room. The room was comfortable and as you would expect for budget accomodation.

Room basic but good overall. Shared bathrooms not cleaned in 3 days. Faecal matter from day 1 not cleaned in bathroom after 3 days. Had to ask clean towels daily. Bistro great.for cheap an huge meals. Wait time on desk service was bad. Good spot for single guy. Spend more if ya have a missus and get elsewhere.

our review was deleted by management, didn't violate any google laws.
if we had know half the pup was under construction renovations and how hot it was in the bathroom hall as there was no air conditioning at all. the air conditioner in the room worked but not that well, and got told well its a hot day.
the kettle we had was black on the bottom paint chips all over the top look like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time we refused to use it.
there were stains on the bed head hate to know what it was.
no Wi-Fi got told they have been having problems with it.
tv wasn't working properly.
we stayed 2hrs and had to leave.
for pensioner lossing $130 is alot of my as there's a no refund policy.
rang today to see if we could get a part refund, was rudely told NO
by who he claimed to be the manager. told him about the kettle and there was not one in the room to start with and his response was how many do you want, and apparently the black burnt inside the kettle was meant to be like that.
i guess the stain s on the bedhead are meant to be like that as well.
why my review was removed i can't understand.
i have read many reviews about this hotel stays that are wors then mine
and agree the manager that took our booking is rude uncaring and looks like he doesn't want to be there.
the security gentleman was so helpful and polite in getting us a taxi as well as the lady bar attended.
would never recommend this to anyone.

One of the worst experience in my life, Terrible, the toilet had water leakage all night, couldn't sleep and the fridge also makes alot of noise. And the person of reception didn't trust even after showing video and then went to check after they say nothing noise and wee cancelled hotel and they tell me giving refund in 3 day after they didn’t provide refund

One of the worst experience in my life, management not communicated properly, I was told that they will refund , but at the end they refused, too much drama, never ever go this hotel Pay 100 bucks extra but choose something better then this .

Newly renovated pub with live music, modest meal prices for the quality, nice atmosphere and great service from friendly staff

Newly renovated bistro looks amazing, loved the ambience and enjoyed the live music and service was exceptional. We tried calamari and salmon fillet, which were top-notch. I would highly recommend it and will be back again.

Keep away from this venue they are only there to rob you of your money,very bad food,dirty place,and only a pokie revenue dump.no wonder they are renovating.keep away

I was here for the grand opening. Very good location for the community! Love the new style! They did something good out of it ! New food new vibe. Definitely a place to hang out !

I chose family room, Room is very messy to much dirty bathroom and toilet. Please never go anyone it’s really bad experience. We cancel when we reached but they not give me refund. I spend too much money for that room. Frode management. Not good staff.
I can’t stand 1 minutes there room. Smoke smell in room.

horrible the room was that hot even with air con on high, the hall bath etc was like 30° the kettle was black on the bottom with a horrible smell, the free Wi-Fi wasn't working.|their was a big stain on the bak board of the bed head, hate to think what it was.|we wish we knew half the hotel was in construction no bristo etc.|stayed like 3brs, would of come if we knew half the place was in construction. and how hot it was.|asked for a refund was refused $130 wasted alot of money when your on a pension.|would never recommend the ibis is better.

Hard to understand all the negative reviews, This place is a treasure, comfortable rooms, the bathrooms are average but how much time do you spend in a bathroom, the staff and management, were incredible there were eighteen people in our group and nothing was any trouble for them.
The food was great the drinks prices are as good as you will find and we have no hesitation in recommending this place to anyone.

Great new vibe. Just watched the state of origin with new screens. Great food. The staff did a great job too, all nice and pleasant experience. Well done. Going back for sure.

Don't book here please. Nightmare ) Worst experience of my entire life,took me half hour to check in despite all the payment everything done, the staff was rude and rooms was disgusting and smell unbearable .and it is not even a hotel it is for sure a brothel house People use the pub then they would use the rooms for other stuff but it was a nightmare truly .had leave the hotel at midnight and not even an apology or refund. Anyone looking to book here don t,it is disgusting and not a hotel but brothel house. Especially if you have a family like me. I booked two rooms but worst ever room I have seen my entire lifetime.

Bistro is neat and tidy. Staff are friendly and helpful. My food came out quick, fresh and very delicious.
