We used the private bar off to the side of the gaming room for a private wake after our Mum passed, and the staff could not have been any more helpful, caring or accommodating.
Anything we asked for was not a problem. The level of helpfulness far surpassed anything we have ever received.

Went to the sports bar with friends from work. I went to the female toilet the door said vacant. I pulled the door open only to see some feral bloke in there going to the toilet. He told me that's why the door was closed. I could not believe it. Then he stood at the bar talking to sucurity and bar staff. Absolutely disgraceful

Went there tonight with a mate. Being quite late they said nope sports bar is closing go to gaming room. All we wanted to do was play pool we are not interested in pokies. Anyway we ordered 2 schooners they were ok ,bit flat. I said because they are a bit ordinary can you just bill be for 1, nope can't do that. Was still good getting a beer at 1am but not the greatest experience.
I've had other times here when sports bar is open and the beer is great. So its hit and miss.cheers.

Very disappointing that bistro is closed and no meals served here. My family used to come here often for a good meal. Hope it changes soon

Used to be an unreal pub, my mates and I bought a stack of Carlton draught (support you pub vouchers during covid) in the hope to see the bistro reopened. Really disappointed that never happened.

To my detriment I made a lot of assumptions about this place operating like moat people would expect from a suburban “Tavern”. Turns out it’s a pokies joint with an air fryer. Suggestions for ways to improve? Update the name to Hampton Park Pokies.

They need to bring food back even if it's not a full.menu like before even if it's just snack food hot chips mini pozzas . It was nice to sit with family and eat

The restaurant is really nicely layed out and comfortable. Food is of a high standard and wait staff very professional. All in all, it's a very nice place for lunch or dinner.

The place have pokies machine I los $1400 on Friday19 and I when to buy a soft drink and bar tender tall me if I play is free I returned today I had dinner and I play again and I los again $1000😱 I ask for a 2 time for soft drink and the bar tender was rude telling me that is only ones a day the drink was 125 ml. If I have to pay that is alright but why have to be rude 😠

Really rude STAFF member who is an elderly lady with short white hair. I asked for a coffee politely and she said to me "i'm gonna put an out of order sign on this machine!" Very rude toned used I might add. Feeling awkward and uncomfortable I said I was more than happy to pay for it. She continued to repeat what she had said and added "we don't have time/staff for this"
I have also seen this lady and other staff talk to the security extremely rude in front of customers also.
I felt so uncomfortable have never been back and will not. Really dissapointing as I have spent hundreds of dollars here and without customers including myself the elderly lady would not have a job to pick and choose who and what she serves.

It states great cocktails, but when dining in the waitress stated they don’t really do cocktails any more. The food was terrible. You change top dollar, you could at least provide real seafood not processed and artificial seafood. Never again, thought we would go and dine in after the renovations but nothing has changed at all. It looks great after renovations and is nice to dine in but the food really needs to be improved for the price you pay.

I stopped it this tavern twice now in my way home from work and both times I felt there were just perves in there apart from that it wasn't to bad

I haven't been to this Tavern for some years. But the calling to drop in for a beer was super strong today. So I did. Just as well. Refurbishments had just completed a couple of days earlier. Synchronized or what? Yeah. Anyway, great place still. More space created for the punters. This drinking hole is not about furnishing but more on the clientele. Seems like all the same faces that was here the last time I was here are STILL here. Hard working types. Give away is Tavern. Hampton Park.

I gave them this this rating because because all the staff were very friendly and swapped my meal over when I didn't like it with no extra charge in which I was very impressed by and the place was very clean

I feel that the Sports Bar area needs to be kept a lot cleaner ie: Ash Trays emptied, tables wiped down and kept clear of glasses, stubbies ect. A television that works appropriately would be nice. Staff I feel are quite good and courteous and Tavern overall is a good place to frequent. A bit of a spruce up for a tired looking court yard would be very welcoming.

Hired a function room for a wake after a funeral, no seating, food took forever to come out and way overpriced for what you get. Absolutely disgusted and would NEVER recommend this place to anyone… should of been bulldozed like the shopping centre next door!!!

Have been going to this establishment since I was 16 years old. Have worked there as an employee in the drive thru bottle shop and bar service. The staff should respect long servicing and paying customers with exceptional customer service. Instead they refuse to serve me and also my friend any further alcoholic beverages with the venue still having 28 minutes before close at 4am. With no announcements even to prompt last drinks, as the bar will be closing in 5 minutes. This is the most disrespectful service ever and you should be ashamed of the staff that you employee to damage the reputation of this establishment.

Had a lovely morning listening to Morning Melodies with plenty of Christmas songs followed by a nice Christmas trilogy lunch followed by a Christmas Pudding with custard. Most enjoyable morning. Thank you to the Tavern for the opportunity to listen to a good show.

Had a good time there won $100. Had a cuppa and wanted to have a bikkie from the tin but just before me a man put his hand in there and moved them all around to choose what he wanted and that put me off. They bikkies in individual pkts or tongs to use. Thanks

Great food and good atmosphere. Good for parents with kids as there is a playground for them . They sometimes have face painting and balloons for the kids also . Always great service and have not had a bad meal yet . The dining area was redone and is great . Good prices too . Better than the Hallam

1. Rude customer. Met a rude customer. Drunk and half naked. Walking around the bar. He is yelling and swearing at me. I am being nice and he was just rude.
2. Irresponsible security. Saw this drunk and rude and half naked customer bothering me and did nothing.

-100/10 gaming attendant. One of the attendants clearly does not hide her disdain for the job. Expect to be treated like a low-life gambling addict if you just want to bring your friend over for an occasional play at the slots. She will stare you down as if you are inferior human being for no reason. One time, a patron was receiving a video call, and the screen was showing the camera for video call request. The attendant walking past accused her of filming the slot machine. They explained that they weren't recording, it was simply a FaceTime call and they did not pick up. The attendant did not listen and continued accusing them that they are not allow to film blah blah blah.
Well, leave your job if you hate being around people who come to the slots.
