We had the lunch time steak which was cooked to perfection served with crunchy chips and a generous bowl of mushroom gravy. The salad bar had five fresh well presented salads to choose from. We certainly will be back.

We come to Hervey Bay often. We always eat at the golf club among other places. The golf clubs value and quality is well worth a visit. The golf course is fantastic also. Tough but fair. Well maintained.
Well done to all. We will definitely be back.

Very meh. Considering all the renovations to make it look nice, the menu should have been redone too.
Got the brisket burger and chips. Brisket should have been shredded not sliced. More pickle than onion rings. Serve of chips was disappointing too.
Got drinks, paid for them, had to do a couple of trips to get them but upon getting there beer, they forgot to charge me which ment I had to go back to get my wallet.
Dont think we will be back here in a hurry.

Very good golf club. The food is excellent. It is linked with the Rsl club, so you can get member discounts on everything. They usually have specials each night, like a roast night etc. It is table service unless there is a buffet. It can get quite busy, so it is a good idea to ring up to reserve a table. It is not a hilly course and is located centrally to everything.

That’s all the chips I got the entire meal. The staff took my meal and said they will add more, but 10 minutes later the meal came back and nothing changed.

Nice tasty club meal. Don't go if you looking for high end dining. Good value for the meal, taste better than it look. Staff is very friendly and very helpful. Will definitely come again.

Nice course, fast ish greens, nice fairways. Got some good short holes that make you think and play positional shots. There has been a lot of money spent recently putting in new greens and course improvements. Pretty flat course making for an easier walk. Good pro shop with great staff and an excellent club house with a bar, pokies and restaurant.

Meals were a little overpriced. I dined with 5 friends and no one at our table was happy with their meals. 3 of us had vegies which were undercooked and cold. My wife had battered flathead and chips which the waitress accidentally spilled onto the table and promptly told her to just put it back onto the plate. Not happy at all. We have dined here in the past and enjoyed our meals but this experience has cast a very dark shadow over our desire to return in the future. Reluctant to recommend .

Iron out a few small kinks and it's easily the best course in HB and surrounds. Course is really getting there. Very proud to be a member. Just the practice facilities still bother me a smidge, but otherwise all good. GT is the Man!!!!

Have eaten here a few times. Lunch fish and chips were very average. I enjoyed dinner more but can't remember what I ate. It's quite loud but the atmosphere is okay. There are pokies and keno if you're into that. All the staff were friendly and I was served quickly.

Had a nice meal however front of house was very poor. There was no smile or friendly greeting. They need to have a person more senior to welcome patrons. The same can be said for staff in general behaviour when it come to hospitality and a curtious nature. The very junior staff need appropriate training. Its obvious.

Great food always good but someone tried to tell me that I couldn't smoke in my golfcart 20 meters from the clubhouse when the RSL have nothing to do with golf. Not happy

Food not very good, orders lost, sent steak back. Not good. Atmosphere not great staff nice but not all seem up to speed. Can see the potential and sure it could be different on another night. OK tab

Beautiful course, very well looked after. Perfect place to swing a stick at some tiny balls.

A few meals have been quite good, however I've ordered porterhouse steak there (medium rare) 4 times now and only once was it not overly tough and sinewy. Why I keep giving them another chance to get it right is beyond me. I am yet to complain, but after it happening again last night I am fed up. I assume they are using the cheapest grade meat they can get away with. I guess my cats were happy they got half a steak for dinner between them.... I cut it up nice and fine so they could actually chew it.
