This place, is safe.
Despite the recent renovations of this establishment,
it keeps its old school character.
If one wishes, they can play a free game of snooker every Sunday,
or if they have some pent up anger they can punch a punching bag.
The Pokies here are also solid and diverse, I won enough to have a drinkypoo, and for that reason alone, I must give this establishment five stars out of five.

The staff is amazing ,but I gotta say I feel very disappointed and discriminated because it is an AFL bar but there is no Collingwood flag, yes that's right they have every other flag hanging even the interstate teams. Honestly I feel so upset that the owner have such a hate towards just one team. Like I said such an amazing staff but won't be coming back as I do not support discrimination.

The food was so good and I got the lunch special and it was great along with the price. There are also a lot of very interesting table games. The atmosphere is very warm and entertaining. You can enjoy here by watching sports and games. Nice crowd. Great pub food and friendly staff. I would definitely go back.

The food was so good and Carl the manager is absolutely amazing. He helped with the kids and was so lovely and attentive. Will be back for sure!!!

Possibly the worst service I have ever experienced. Every single staff member we interacted with was unpleasant & would purposely try to ignore us or walk past. Could not rate the experience low enough.

Parma n great northern — always a great mix and even more at this great venue. My kid ran amok for a while and the bloke at the bar brought crayons n paper, such a nice gesture whilst thinking of his safety with waiters and drinks around.

Not the best food here, wouldn’t have it again if it was half price. The steak was over cooked dry and tough. The Parma again was dry and over cooked. Felt really rushed by the staff member when I went to order and there was no one waiting as it was a Sunday and the venue was dead.

My son and I came in for dinner tonight and had a lovely meal, it was our first time dining here but what made it fantastic was your staff member Karl, right from the moment we walked in he was welcoming, attentive, helpful and very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble and he went above and beyond to make our evening great which was so appreciated, we will definitely be back. Thank you again Karl your service was outstanding.

I really love the fact that I was contacted by Brenton wich apologised for my 1st bad experience, offering me a free of charge dinner that I can tell you guys was just amazing. I also want to give credit to an amazing person for his excellent customer service. Carl you are a really nice understanding person. Thanks for the much better experience. I will be back again.

I love coming here, everything about this place is worth more than 5 stars, service is always immaculate. Vibes are on point.

If you enjoy a coffee with your pokies don't go here staff almost cry when they have to make one coffee machine was turned off by 10pm and thier boss apparently supports this on the up side the POWELL HOTEL is less than 2km away from this place and makes awesome coffee with no tanties

Highpoint Hotel is the perfect place to hang out, have a cup of coffee and cake (and a parma) and throw some darts.
The venue is large, well-lit and comfortable with more than enough fun things to do. The Crowd DJ set-up also puts you in control of what music is playing.
There is always some live sport being broadcast on the screens as well. It's an excellent venue to watch UFC cards at!

Great place for a meetup/catchup with your mates. Good variety of beer and the atmosphere was big and comfortable.

Good venue to watch the boxing friendly staff we like to have couple drinks and some snacks we love chicken wings like most people but these chicken wings are simply the worst ever tasteless tough like they have not been marinated or seasoned just dropped in a deep fryer! C,mon guys chicken wings are not that hard to get right ! Give your cook a kick in the bum!

Drinks staff was an absolute joy, polite and awesome (on this sat night - Kudos to Sophie). Other staff were all more than helpful. The venue is one of my favorites as it is spacious and just has a great atmosphere in general helped by nice people.

Dined in for dinner as a family of 6. Place was empty, with only 2 tables occupied. No wait staff on hand to welcome you thru the door. Walked up to the bar for service and was simply told to pick a table and order thru the barcode on the table. Not even menus were offered. So I asked we prefer to look at a menu if thats available. It was an effort for the guy to get me menu's.
Returned back to the bar to order our meals, only to be handed a buzzer for when my meal is ready to collect from the kitchen window.
Really?? Unbelievable!!
I may as well have just stayed in the shopping centre food court with that kind of service. The food was below par. Steaks and chicken parma was too dry and overcooked.
Definitely not value for money. First and last visit. Definitly wouldn't recommend.

Decided to have an early dinner at the Highpoint Hotel. At first it looked pre cool. Walking in seeing all the afl flags, the big projectors and the games area. Looked very promising. After ordering our food we waited about an hour for food to arrive. Mind you wasnt busy at all. But that’s okay. Great things take time. We later received our meals… wow.. disgusting. Ordered chicken parmigiana the usual with gravy… $29 for 10 chips and 1/4 of a schnitzel.. gotta be joking. Didn’t receive gravy until I asked for it? What’s the point of ordering and paying for things if we don’t receive them? Partner ordered the calamari she enjoyed that. Then they forgot about the drinks we ordered. Had to go
To bar to collect.
Unsure if we got a bad day. But we won’t be back unless the chefs get replaced or something. Should’ve just got Macca’s

Be careful when ordering, they have specials most weeknights, shown on random banners, but when ordering online or from the table QR the special won't show up, their excuse is you have to order from the bar to get the special, so basically bad luck. Also made up some story saying that online is for other venues and the special is for their venue yet it's their online website. Poor service.
