We were greeted on arrival from a nice man at the bar, went to the bistro, everyone in the kitchen was lovely, went to the bar to order and the young lady was not friendly at all.
The food was very good, 3 of us had the lunch menu and the 4th person chose from the main menu.
EDIT, we received our meals at 2.05pm (approximately), we arrived maybe 10-15 minutes prior on Friday 26th April.

We stopped there for a meal. Ordered nachos, seafood basket, roasted veggies and kid's burger. The meals were very good and big in size.
The hotel itself had nice seating area, outside area was good too and there was also a playground, which is very convenient when you travel with kids.

Went there today on Anzac Day and the place had way too many people there. Intoxicated patrons with kids. Two females fighting, police arrived. There was no security at all for such a large crowd. White dog roaming around the behind the bar and amongst the kids area. Not what Anzac Day is all about.

Went for a meal here the food was good and would go back to this place for another meal, service in the bar was a little lacking

Very friendly service and we had a good meal for a reasonable price. The hotel does show its age however, a bit of sprucing up would not go astray. It is clean however.

The manager Samantha has a disgusting attitude towards children. She's flirty towards all the males but rude to females
Food is not what it is on the menu. To small of a kitchen to serve big family's .
Wouldn't recommend for families, only for males.

Not trying to be anything fancy or anything it's not, Bargo is just a great country pub. Friendly staff, cold beer and dog friendly too.

Location is great and Staff are welcoming and friendly. Food is amazing as well. Outdoor seating and great play area for the kids make Bargo Hotel a great night out for all.

It's always worth a drive from Mittagong on Friday night. A great pub with fantastic atmosphere, live music, and the food is great. I had the surf n turf snitty and it was literally to die for.

I only had the food at the restaurant. After hearing my brother read out the reviews for this place I was sceptical, when you hear plenty of food great price its always a red flag. And so it was the steak was wafer thin and as tough as a boot, chips yellow and undercooked. The insulting thing was it wasn't cheap 28 dollar's avoid at all cost's reviews obviously false. Or people have no taste.

I decided to go for a drive to Bargo I stopped at the hotel Bargo I had a counter lunch off 1 mixed grill boy was it nice and will return again to try something else menu great service very good 🍻 cheers

Haven't stayed in the rooms. The food is good at medium prices. The staff provide great service. Children's playground. TAB area. Poker machines. Dining area. Good parking area out the back. If you have mobility issues call in advance. Community bus will collect and deliver all customers in the area - call with request.
Dog friendly. There's a huge grassed area out the back with under cover seating that's suitable both for kids and dogs.

Great place to have a meal. $12 lunch specials during the week. Other than that they have a great menu & generous size meals. Surf & turf is yummy. The staff were also very friendly. Children are also well catered for.

Great local pub with fantastic staff that make you feel like you are at home! Food is super good and fresh! Highly recommend the steak it was cooked to perfection!

Great local pub, felt welcomed by the super friendly staff and the locals the moment we walked in! Great area for the kids to run around in and on the inside a few games for them to play!
Food is very well priced and absolutely phenomenal! I highly recommend the chicken and mushroom crepes and the schnitzel surf and turf as a main. Arancini and salt and pepper calamari as an entree was value for money!!! All in all I can't wait to take the family back there!

Great little hotel, good local feel. Patrons and staff friendly, food good for price we paid.
I've pulled in several times since my first post, the locals on the back verandah always welcoming.

Great country pub. Relaxing atmosphere. Kids playground was great for the little ones. Food was awesome and highly recommend.
Great entertainment nights. Had the pleasure of meeting the Licensee (Luke) and owner (Andrew) who both seem really invested in providing a great place for the community.

From the outside the look is deceiving. Step through the door to find a great little family pub. Plenty of parking at rear. Play area for kids. Outside seating and indoor eatery that has by far the best value pub meals. If you are a small eater ask for a smaller serving as the meal sizes are plentiful. The food was fresh, hot, tasty and cooked just right.
It is most definitely worth the drive if you are looking for a good value pub meal to be accompanied by a nice cool ale. Definitely recommend.

First up, best parmy in the area hands down.
Fantastic classic pub, really authentic and delicious food with generous portions. Great weeknight specials to keep it affordable with kids and the service is always friendly and warm. Highly recommend for anyone in the area.
Also a good playground for the kids with outdoor seating

Can't comment on the rooms as I didn't stay. But the food was very enjoyable, good atmosphere and great for the kids. Would recommend stopping in if your in the area.
