We went here before and after the FIFA Women's AU vs IRE game. The staff were really good, and tolerant as there were a few pub dreg people around prior to the football fans arriving. Small beer range but affordable and really quick service. We came back after the game and had a great seat/table, it was warm and cozy. The staff handled crowds well and were always polite. We did not stay in the rooms upstairs. Will certainly come back.

The staff were really friendly and the room had a decent bed, nice bedding and towels and soaps/shampoos. I didn’t mind the room being small. However, it was so hot inside the room. The air conditioning didn’t work and the fan only made the heat slightly bearable. It was impossible to sleep the night through. None of the powerpoints worked. Which is strange because there is a TV and kettle there which would need power. I also found the shared toilet/shower facilities lacking. There was no bin in the bathroom, so there were tampon wrappers on the window sill and nowhere to put empty toilet rolls. The shower area was not very pleasant. The actual shower size, water pressure etc was fine, but the bathroom itself wasn’t very clean. The floor was dirty and there were used soaps/shampoos on the shower shelf, and the sink area had lots of grime and marks. A shared shower area should be cleaned and disinfected multiple times a day.

There’s no parking spots. It’s very noisy, we couldn’t fall asleep at night and also we all saw the big “COCKROACH “next morning. I have left a note in the room I don’t want to disclose, but i haven’t got any response from them. I personally think it’s very poor service.

The hotel room was nice and tidy. There was a kitchenette and a bathroom in the room. There is a nice pub beneath, with a good menu and a friendly atmosphere. They advertise as "family" style and it really is comfortable, it reminded me of a country pub in that regard. The food is delicious. The nachos was so large it lasted for two meals. The accommodation is located conveniently, only about 200m away from Concord train station. There aren't laundry facilities at the venue, but there is a serviced laundry next door. I paid just $15 for a wash and dry to be picked up the next day—but be sure to bring cash. A pharmacy, grocery, and other shops nearby offer a good option for picking up some quick essentials like a loaf of bread or paracetamol. Finally, the area is very quiet with virtually no traffic . Even late at night I didn't feel any concerns about coming in to my room late. There was certainly nothing to disturb sleep at night. It was very quiet.

The hotel cancelled of accommodation for 2 young girls who flew into Sydney at 9:30pm after work. The hotel refused to let them check-in this late and they lost their accommodation. They had paid up front and the hotel is refusing to refund the accommodation.

The bouncer at this Sydney pub was shockingly discriminatory, targeting specific patrons with rude and aggressive behavior. Their actions turned what should have been an enjoyable night out into an uncomfortable and biased experience, highlighting a serious failure in managing security at this establishment.

The air conditioner in our room doesn't work, and when you open the window, hot wind enters the room from the air conditioner outdoor unit. There is also a lot of noise. The hallway is cooler.

Surprisingly the food was the worst I’ve ever had. Usually is very nice but today was awful, burned chicken wings and frozen burrata. Guiness was good as always but I hope food comes back to its good taste.

Smoke from the "outdoor" gaming area is all through the pub, the "masking" agent used makes it worse. We lasted 1 drink and had to leave.

Location. very handy to Concord West train station, basically right across the road from it, was ideal for people like us utilising public transport. Check In. This was conducted in the main bar, was quick, seamless and completed in a very short time. One thing that we have never had happen at a pubstay before was the girl who checked us in then took us upstairs and gave us a full run through of our rooms facilities, a walk down to the corridor to show the exit, emergency escape, explained the muster point, then location of the facilities. Room was equipped with fan and air con, tv was good, and sufficient power points for recharging. Facilities. Facilities have recently been upgraded and are clean and in sufficient numbers for the rooms on the floor. All showers/toilets are unisex, so no individual 'male'/'female' areas. We arrived too late for a meal but certainly made use of the bar facilities whice remain open till 2am. No bar noise was audible in the room, and the occasional train passing was no more than a distant rumble, not enough to wake you. One negative thing with the room was there were no cup, no coffee and no milk, only tea bags and sugar.|PRO's: Close to rail station. Clean and recently re-done rooms and facilities. Full explanation of accommodation area including emergency procedures. Friendly staff and a good, local pub feel about it.||CON's: No milk, coffee or cups/mugs in the room. Price was a bit high.|In all I was satisfied and would stay there again.

Known as Hotel Concord, this is a lovely local pub in a quiet neighbourhood. The pub has been renovated while keeping many period features like stained glass windows. The rooms are upstairs above the bar. While ear plugs are recommended, the bar noise wasn’t very loud but the pub does close late on weekends. ||The rooms are large, renovated and well appointed. There are different bedding combinations at different prices, but even the “single” was a king single. The rooms all have Smart TVs, a kettle, tea & coffee amenities, cupboards, chairs, lamps & air conditioners. There are several shared sex bathrooms available as well as separate toilets. The Smart TVs include Foxtel and Netflix with Optus Sports channels too, as well as free to air options. A nice touch are plantation shutters on windows which also reduced street noise. The beds however are still extremely soft & need mattresses replaced for more stable options. ||The pub is across the road from Concord West train station and an easy walk to the Sydney Olympic Park precinct through lovely parks and wetlands. It’s surrounded by well designed cycle paths too. The entire area is very safe for a solo traveller to walk at night back from local events. There’s free street parking on weekends and easy access to major arterials. ||The staff are very friendly and efficient. There’s a guest entrance direct to the street which makes accessing the accommodation very easy. The pub is surrounded by good quality eateries, and has a local supermarket, bottle shop & gym 2 minutes away. A definite must visit. The only negative was the inflated price during a major event, at least double what was expected?

I will definitely come back for beer, but not food. The food here isn't recommendable. My steak was so dry and tough, what a waste of money.

It was one of the best pub meals I've had in a long while. We've lived around the corner from here for a long time but only recently tried this out. We'll be coming back for sure. The loaded schnitzel, rump steak, and kids' cheeseburger were all delicious and generously portioned.

Guinness had a 35mm head on it but nothing wrong with the feed. Burger was impressive, patty cooked medium like it should be. Rump steak was surprisingly tasty for sub $30

For the price I was happy with what I got but I was disappointed that no cleaning was done of the communial showers/toilets over the 5 nights I was there. The air con was missing a knob to turn it on and the battery was flat for the fan. I mentioned it downstairs but did not get any help. The bed definitely needed replacing. I noticed the window had been propped open without a screen so it got a bit loud from the street. I expected noise from the pub below and it was only the Saturday night it got noisy. I was prepared. It was in a great spot for transport and close to cafes and a small supermarket which was handy. The food in the pub was really yummy and great prices.

Food average. Nice clean bar. Staff rather unfriendly. If you're close, it's worth a visit. But I wouldn't bother making a detour.

Eftpos available Accommodation is available upstairs, not sure of charges $19 - I had sausages (bangers) and potato mash + peas and gravy. Served up in 10 mins. Pub food is fantastic. Other classics such as steak, burgers and chicken wings are available too. Beer and other alcohol is available too. Outside sitting area has no smoking tables. Patrons still managed to smoke on the corner which disturbed my meal. It's all good, next time I will come inside instead. Outside sitting area has heat lamps. Plastic curtains for preventing wind, rain and disturbance from cars and trains. Look for the white chocolate, glossy bricks and warm wooden doors. 50 metres from Concord West Station.

Dear readers, I had a very disappointing experience at Hotel Concord, where I recently booked a two-night stay. Unfortunately, my check-in and check-out were on the same day due to several issues I encountered during my stay. Firstly, the water temperature in the shower was extremely unstable, which made it impossible to take a proper shower. The water would suddenly turn icy cold or scalding hot without any warning, and I was unable to regulate it properly. This was especially problematic given the chilly weather during my stay. Secondly, the noise level in my room was unbearable due to the bar located downstairs. The loud music and shouting went on until 2 AM, making it impossible to get any rest or sleep. Lastly, the hotel did not provide a hairdryer, which was a significant inconvenience for me and my two female companions who had long hair. We were unable to dry our hair properly, and as a result, both of them caught a cold after their showers. Despite my attempts to negotiate with the hotel staff, they refused to offer a refund or any other form of compensation. As a result, I have decided to take legal action to protect my consumer rights. Overall, I would not recommend Hotel Concord to anyone seeking a peaceful and comfortable stay. The hotel's management needs to address these issues urgently to avoid further dissatisfaction and legal issues in the future.

Always great service at this nice little pub. Food good value for money. Close to Homebush for those pre/post show drinks.
