Your standard pub, has the fights on a Sunday, however, service was slow for a busy day with only 2 bar staff.

You’ll have to plan your day if you come here for a take away coffee, it takes about 15/20mins to make an espresso, particularly when there is no one dining in…. Takes even longer…

Worst experience . We ordered 3 margarita cost $60 they came out in a spirit glasss full of ice not even crushed one sip and nothing left. We should have just asked for a tequila on ice . Staff were rude when we complained, they advised us we ordered the wrong margarita. We thought ok but, then the food came out salmon burger, bread was stale and salmon was dry . We left as we couldn’t be bothered saying anything because of the attitude from the staff

We had attending the annual Xmas Day Seafood buffet 2023. The food was, however, luke warm and tasteless. I had such high hopes as the staff were lovely, management catered to our large party, and the overall day was good. The saving grace was that the unlimited drinks had everyone not worry about the food as they were too trollied to focus on that. However, we sober people who drank later on noticed the food issues. If they fixed the food issues, it would be such a good package.

We attended a party at the hotel last weekend. The food was amazing and delicious. I had the Moroccan lamb which fell off the bone and my husband had the delicious ravioli. The staff were friendly and efficient, especially Jack. We shall return

We always pop in to The Hotel West End which used to be our local. A typical pub providing great pub fare. Many a good time had with friends. Great to check in and watch the area change over time. Thanks team for another great catchup.

Took family for dinner. My chicken snitzel was off. Tasted acidic and burnt mouth. Asked for money back and was refunded immediately dtaf were very good and apologetic. Just hope I don't end up in hospital with food poisoning.

The food is great value on their lunch specials. Portions are large and they're also really well made. The only thing that's not to our taste tends to be their salads.
Service is always friendly, and they try to be as speedy as possible, but it can get pretty busy and could probably use more staff at times, but west end is tricky to manage.
Ambience is okay, modern, large displays, although you can't really listen to a game (sound on is almost always music on the entire venue)

The coffee and food here of a morning is absolutely delicious! The coffee is so well roasted and the milk isn’t burnt 😂
The alfresco area is heated and is lovely to sit on to enjoy the vibrancy of west end. Definitely recommend coming here, if not for the food and drink - for the warm welcome from the staff.

The food was mouth watering, hospitality out of this world.
Staff courteous,chefs did a great job with the food.
Lovely vibe,spacious and worth a visit.

Ryan was such an amazing staff member. He was so helpful and knowledgeable with all things Hotel West End. His cocktails were amazing and I can't wait to visit again.

Only Editing coz Lunch Specials are back!!!
Lunch specials are the only good thing at this place. Service still mediocre, had a cranky person deliver drinks yesterday, just dumped them on the table and looked like she wasn't happy about serving customers.

Laura the functions coordinator was so helpful and accommodating! We had a fantastic wedding reception and the food was a hit. All the supporting staff were so lovely as well! Overall a solid place for any kind of function and I would 100% host one here again

It’s always hard to find healthy food choices at a pub. I ordered the grilled chicken, salad and avocado on a spinach wrap. I was disappointed that there was way too much chicken, very little salad and a tiny bit of avocado, and it was presented with chips, which were not mentioned in the menu description. I refused the chips. Strangely, although I was one of the first to order, my wrap was served last. I must say though that the staff are very good, brought water promptly, were friendly and professional.

It is pretty much exactly the same as it used to be like 10 years ago... Just a regular, kind of boring pub. Lots of TVs, not a fan of TVs everywhere. We were going to have dinner here but the menu was uninspiring (plus the annoying TVs!) so we passed. Drinks were good.

Huge props to Ryan. He was under the pump, but still had the time to look after me. I had an issue with another customer. He sorted it straight away. He was very friendly and helpful. 5 stars for the Ryan.

Hotel West End (which isn't a hotel at all) is always very clean, full of happy patrons and lovely staff. Constantly when I get drinks or food from their delicious menu I am never left wanting more. It is unfortunately a little bit on the pricier side, however not overly expensive like some other places are.
Overall I really enjoy this restaurant/bistro/gaming lounge that isn't a hotel. Very good job with everything, guys!

Hotel westend Cafe slowest service ever. Just waited for a already made breakfast just to be heated up for 30 mins. I don't recommend this place.

Great food, atmosphere and staff. Also a regular at the cafe for my morning coffee. Always greeted by name with a friendly face. They know how to make a good coffee!

Fantastic experience as part of a large group on 7/3/24. Plenty of space, meals provided on time, service excellent, food quality superb and food/drinks really well priced! Can't believe I didn't know about Hotel WE!!

Decided to book a table here at the last minute for a group of 6 for a quiet end of trip dinner. Inside was fantastic, well laid out, quick service at the bar and a very good menu with your normal pub fare, with a few pleasant surprises in there as well. The Moroccan Lamb shank was awesome. Plenty of TV's on the wall to cater for everyone and they were only to happy to change the channel so we could view the footy from right above our table. Staff were very professional and friendly as well. Will definitely return in the future.

Attended for a wedding function and was delightfully impressed. Fantastic function room with such pleasant and warm staff who really made the experience all the more enjoyable (shout-out Laura!). Food was absolutely delicious (both in the downstairs bar & at the function) & in good portions. Highly recommend, especially given it’s great locality to other nearby spots & Brissy CBD.

50 minute wait for food.
50 minutes.
It was a salad. its not hard.
on a week day lunch. the food wasnt even that good.
Food is not cheap either.
Every time my coworkers want to eat here i just ask why? whats so special about this place compared to others, i just dont get it, they clearly dont cater to people who work for a living and have limited lunch times.
im not eating there again.
