Your staff is always friendly, polite and quick to serve. Carrie tonight was exceptional, as she always is and her happy and smiling service is the reason that I choose your club for a drink and a flutter over others. So nice to go home for a change feeling our custom was appreciated. Refreshing!

Worst experience when we went with friends the security guard straight away told us that seems you guys have couple of drinks in cant let you in meanwhile none of us drink anything just assuming that we be drunk i one of the stupidest thing i have ever heard. So be better than that.

What a delicious date night we had here. Grab yourself a $5 membership and you'll enjoy great discounts on food and drinks. Mains run between $20-$28 and the portion sizes are excellent. We got the cashew chicken, satay beef, and pork long beans. The waiters were lovely and so was Dianne at the bar. We enjoyed very reasonably priced drinks and some apple pie bites upstairs for dessert.

We went here for drag bingo and will definitely be making it a regular thing. The club was neat, well presented, well priced drinks, the food from the Chinese restaurant is very tasty and can be brought to the tables.
Drag bingo was so much fun.

Went there as a visitor from qld . The staff was amazing and so friendly and helpful. Great food and outstanding service thank you . Meals are so big to 😁👍🏻

Visited the Chinese restaurant, good food, very good service and always comes with a smile. I will not hesitate to recommend it to anyone who wants a good evening meal with friends. Waiting times for food is very quick and prompt.

This is my local, friendly staff and locals. Drinks are at a good price even better on happy hour. Upgrades are nice and welcoming. Outdoor areas are really well lit with heaters, big screen TV. Food is exceptional, and they have a kids gaming room also.

The staff is attentive to us but the food is overpriced given the quality isn’t up to expectation.

The size of the venue cant be considered an RSL.
It feels cramped and put in place just to have a local RSL.
The crowds in the gambling areas are loud and obnoxious and there are random players who just sit next to you and watch you.
I feel it just needs to be a hurstville sports lounge but deffinatly not on caliber with all the RSLs out there.

The set menu available during dinner time is very worth it! You get complimentary entree soup, a tub of rice, and two dishes of your choice that would easily feed 2-3 people. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is once went for lunch and didn't have as good of an experience. Fried rice we ordered was very oily and the cocktail fish and chips was underwhelming. Used to be one of my fave dishes before they renovated. Still highly recommend to go during dinner!

The security guy has really rude attitude, been pissed off by him few times. I am not sure he is trying to make less people going to this place or what, it was terrible.

the middle aged asian lady with the short hair and side part (cant remember her name, helga/hilda/olga?) was EXTREMELY rude and belittling to me because i forgot to bring my id (the reason i didn't have id was bc my family returned from a road trip so i was "forced" to go to dinner with them that night. so it was not my choice to go to this place).
i was almost on the verge of tears from her hurtful words. no hospitality staff should be belittling customers with that kind of attitude. even a simple no would've sufficed but she had to be like "how old are you? you have such little life experience. you really went XX years without knowing to bring your id"
even though she allowed me to go on without an ID i wouldve preferred to walk out the door, but because i was stuck with my family with all our luggage, i reluctantly stayed even after her hurtful lecture to me. reminded me of some of the verbal abuse my asian relatives gave me.

The Hurstville RSL (The Pinnacle) has undergone an amazing modern transformation. They have spent millions of dollars creating a wonderful place for friends and families to meet. The upstairs gaming area is stylish and well laid out.
It is far better than other places in Hurstville that are noisy and crowded. This is unlike any design I have ever seen.
The Golden Lotus restaurant is one of the best restaurants in Hurstville. I eat here at least once a week and have never been disappointed.
I have been told that there is a grand opening on Saturday 29th Feb in the evening where we can win big!
Probably the most important aspect of this club is the staff - they are friendly and extremely professional. I read a recent review by someone who was not allowed in. I happened to be in the foyer. The guy was drunk and argumentative. But the staff kept their cool and at all times were polite. Support your local community club by giving Hurstville RSL a go next time you hop off the train or are passing by.

The drag bingo is soooooo much fun, but the bar service needs a lot of work. Hate to name people, but Imee has no idea what she is doing and she hasn't improved from last month. Also we have waited 25 minutes for cocktails and have had to ask 3 times for them. Just a joke

Someone within the management team needs to brief staff at the front of house particularly when you are place at the front desk...means that you needs to warm and welcoming when guests visit your venue....without guests you are out of a job...this particular is highly condescending and rude...if management wants to know her name they can reach out ...but I would not victimise her name on social media..

Place is really modern now after the renovations. Nice staff and Chinese restaurant has nice food, good servings at a reasonable price. . .also have a kids gaming room (PlayStation not pokies), to keep them occupied while waiting for the food. :)

never go there again, especially the late night, the server named Phoebe thinks she has RSA , but has no sense at all, and reject to offer the drinks, clearly because she think she is the definite one and, especally she wants off as soon as possible, even its aganist its offically trading hour. Furthermore, because they kept put pressure on me, I even left my 30 dollars ticket in the pocky machine, is it that really a place you guys wanna go to !

2023 update:
Minor and maybe irrelevant detail for some.
They allow takeaway of your remaining food. But won't allow you to take away rice. Super weird.
You have already paid for the your rice, but they won't let you put it in a takeaway box, even though they let you takeaway other foods.

It has recently been renovated with the restaurant area expanded to accommodate more patrons. The food is delicious as always with XO sauce with clams being my favourite. The portions are generous and at an affordable price. Drinks wise you'll have to order from bar as the restaurant itself does not offer drinks. Definitely a great place to have dinner.

Good food. Lots of good veggies. Good options.
They were very accommodating of babies in the restaurant. They have high chairs and steamed veggies. They were happy to clean up baby eating mess.
The host was friendly and welcoming.
Members get a discount on food.
Yum cha ends at 2:30pm.
NB: There is a kids room full of video games and cartoons, for those who are interested. If your kids like that sort of thing, it would be quite good. 3 large screens (pictured).

Friendly staff, nice interior and very clean but unfortunately very poorly organised. No clear waiting area in the Chinese Restaurant, was not acknowledged as I waited in line for a small order. Food is not too bad, what you'd expect from an RSL though, but couldn't finish all of it, despite asking for a takeaway container, took them 30 minutes to get one and I had to stop the manager who kindly went over and got one for me before the restaurant staff went and got one after it was too late. Over all the place is good, but just good. I just wish it was more organised, this place has so much potential to be better.

Fast service, delicious foods and soup in Chinese restaurant. Good member price for 2 dishes (have many choices in menu) with soup and rice $48.
The dishes portion are quite big and I can bring it home for next meal. Some dishes maybe not too delicious, but we still eat till very full. Ordered a beer to relax and enjoyed with the meal.
Have a new face, maybe is a new staff? She was not friendly and impolite. Our table don't have spoon for the soup, so my partner go to the cutlery area to take 2 spoons, she shout at my partner asked what you are doing...

Best club I have been to in a very long time. Friendly and helpful staff and management. Food was great ambience was great as well. Will definitely be recommending this club to my family and friends and will be back soon.

Be careful of the billing at the Pinnacle. Check the receipt before you pay.
Management should look into improving transparency before payment
