Would have liked to have been told about happy hour before we ordered our drinks, during happy hour!!! Staff were inattentive and uninterested.

We’ve been here several times for dinner and lunch and have always found the meals to be of a high standard and also good service. Highly recommend.

We turned up for our reservation early and was greeted warmly by staff.
Even though the kitchen didn't start serving till 530pm, the chefs were told of our arrival and got our meals underway which was pretty awesome of them.
My wifes Moroccan Chicken was the pick of the three we chose, whilst our Hyde Burger and Sesame Tuna Salad (which was unfortunately every so slightly overcooked) still ticking the tasty box too.
Hyde Park Tavern is definitely worth checking out.

We ordered the beef brisket and the lemon pepper barramundi and it was so good. The service was great and atmosphere was fantastic.

Went to play the pokies. Very clean and well presented. The bar maid was awesome and so friendly!!

Went one Friday night with friends. Everything was good, not overly busy
No table service, you have to go and order.

We held my twin sons' 21st in the function room upstairs. It was a great night. Brianna (functions manager) and all the friendly staff couldn't have been more helpful. They really know how to put on a successful event. The function room is a beautiful space with everything we needed. Thank you to Tony and your wonderful staff!

We are semi regulars at the tavern and are satisfied with service and food, usually, but today when the Unley gala was on we went in for a drink and they were charging $14, pint prices for a plastic cup that wouldn’t have been more than a can size. Disappointed and disgusted with the money grabbing attitude. The cans of beer at the gala were between $7 and $ 10. The tavern is off our list now.

Was visiting adl . We ordered a round of drinks and had a bet , Family wanted to get some food from bar menu as kitchen closed , the staff behind the counter was so rude and she said well kitchen closed so you can have some nuts or potato chips . Wanted cash out . Was not possible . Heard her talk about some elderly patrons . Was very bad experience, we didn’t stay . We won’t be back again

The only place that would let us in with no booking (just wanted a quiet table for two tucked away from the crowds to have a quick lunch with my Dad and it was provided with no hesitation). Staff were very caring and on point with their service and the food was very tasty.

Thank you to the staff at the Hyde Park Tavern for a wonderful evening.
We had a dinner booking for 28 family and friends.
The staff were very helpful, friendly and polite. Our meals all came out in a timely manner, especially for such a large group order.
Thank you to the Chef and kitchen staff… every single meal that we ordered was amazing (cooked to perfection).
To top it off the cleanliness of the hotel was 10/10.
A lovely hotel with amazing staff.

Stopped in at the Hyde Park Tavern Sunday as they had the Port V Saints game on.
Did not expect the food to be 'so' good, so compliments to the chef working that day.
Didn't expect the two young bar staff to be so helpful and professional, going above and beyond to make sure we were looked after.
And didn't expect to pay $5 for a pint of my favourite beer!
At one point we did notice an old homeless looking man wearing a beanie slide behind the bar and pour himself a drink, but given that no one challenged him, we're thinking he might be the pub's owner?

Order 'safe' options from this menu. The Scotch fillet was cooked to perfection and matched well with sides, I'll be back for this, but some of the other meals fell short. The Lamb rissoles were dry like they'd been defrosted, and the 'pea mash' was potato mash with some peas stirred into it and kumara chips were a crispy garnish rather than the expected chips; it wasn't what was expected/described. The staff didn't know what vegan meant, and the vegetarian options were very very plain, basically a can of crushed tomatoes over penne with a few leftover roast carrots chopped and stirred through. The Hyde Park simply doesn't compare to similar venues near by, so give their restaurant a miss.

Oh my....we have been patronising this venue for over a decade bringing 50 people on Wednesday nights. Now they have consistently neglected us even after paying exorbitant room rent. Atrocious treatment with no loyalty - so time to move on. How you say No to people throwing money at you I'll never know. These people would buy meals and drinks so now its not good enough.
Piss poor management decision that will have far reaching ramifications.

Interesting, older style Adelaide Hotel set in the near city suburb of Hyde Park. Great Menu options and the food that does not disappoint. This Hotel includes an upstairs Function Room. On our first visit, we experienced painfully slow service for our main course to be served, but would be willing to try this venue again, as the upstairs function and our timing of our lunch appeared to impact on our table service, hence the 3 Star rating. I have now updated this to a 4 Star rating after having lunch here again recently.. Helpful and friendly staff with full table service.. Good sized Gaming Room

If you like over cooked, over priced food with the service level of a bulldog chewing a wasp, then this is the place for you. Eat here at your own risk and be quick as the waitress will whisk away your plates before you have even finished. Shame she didn’t do it earlier!

Had the special of the day - Moroccan Lamb chops - tasty and tender.
Went as part of a group bday celebration and the staff were magnificent, served the bday cake which we brought on a beautiful platter stand.

Good atmosphere and service . Msg Carla on our first visit , she was friendly and helpful . Special board was the best I’ve seen where it appeared to cater for most and prices amazing . Definitely our choice for a pub meal at lunch in the area to date .

Delightful suburban pub. We chose the Hyde park for lunch on location as it suited our needs to meet in the area. We were very well looked after! Table service for both food and wine, a totally adequate menu with daily specials, good choice of wine. Delicious food, good coffee! Gentile atmosphere and pleasant decor plus more than adequate off street parking in a busy location. We agreed it was an enjoyable experience! Highly recommend a visit!

Decent grub -a little pricey for the size but typical for the area, nice service. Chicken was very tender and juice and the iced coffee was delicious!

Celebrating my granddaughter's birthday. My Hubby had the scotch eye fillet steak. He thought that it was strange that they didn't give him a steak knife. Turns out that he was able to cut the steak with an ordinary knife. It was apparently melt in your mouth & delicious. I had the pork bangers and mash and I really enjoyed them. A good night was had by all.
