Wow great pub with nice food and atmosphere. The new owners have done a terrific job. If more country pubs were like this they wouldnt have to shut just because some gready person sold the pokie machine licenses. Worth a visit.

Worth the trip across the tracks - a local told me about the T-bone steak - 550gms big - I felt like so we came - $28 for the most delicious smoky flavour and perfectly cooked med-rare - the best steak this Sydney boy has had in donkeys! The gravy was best ignored, and the corn and broccoli had died some time ago, but never mind - the T-bone steak was a winner! 😊👍 (pic is half eaten)

We stayed in our MH in the back yard. Our meal was really up to standard with perfectly cooked calamari, chicken , chips etc. The staff were beyond friendly and welcoming. The place had a party atmosphere where you felt so welcome. Thank you for our entertaining evening.

Well I was suitably impressed with must say. I plenty of parking space at the back, cheap price, comfortable and clean rooms with air-conditioning and just that good old fashioned Aussie pub style. There is also a small kitchen area. Really could not complain. Just be mindful that the bar downstairs closes fairly early most nights so you may have to use the back stairs.

The Imperial Hotel serves a good home cooked meal. There’s nothing flash about this place but I came back a second night after enjoying their meal on my first visit.||If you’re passing through and want something “the way Mum used to cook it” then this is the place to drop into.||Enjoy!

The friendly publican, Garrison, welcomed us as walked into the bar, showed us where we might sit to enjoy a coffee while we waited for our friends. We were taken with the hotel's cleanliness throughout. We enjoyed our delicious Thai curry and washing it down with a ice cold beer. An overall great experience.

Stayed here with a large group. They stored our bikes securely undercover out the bake. Food was quick and tasty. The bar staff very accommodating. The rooms were clean and nice shared bathrooms.

Stayed here for a week while away for work. Great little country pub thanks to the new owners. 2 big indoor open fires, lots of different area's to sit and enjoy a beer, from the classic bar, to the back lounging room, great outdoor beer garden and dining room. Met Mick the publican on the first night, and id honestly say you wouldn't meet a nicer bloke, he and his lovely wife made me feel welcome with a friendly chat every time we met. Raymond the Chef cooks up great value good honest pub food also very good pizzas. Comfy clean rooms, large shared bathroom and fridge, microwave etc available for guests. All in all , Great little place to stay.

Stayed for a couple of nights while on a motorcycle trip with a few friends. Very basic accommodation at present, and the new owners are working hard to upgrade the old pub rooms. It will be a "motorcycle friendly" place to stay with secure off street parking planned. The food is fantastic with a "pub standard" menu that will satisfy anyone. The publican and his wife shouted us a couple of rounds of drinks at the end of the night, great people by any means.

Rode into the town to find a place to stay. Walked in and felt at home. Great atmosphere and new owner (6week) friendly and helpful. Had a great night with the locals who all welcomed us. The rooms where clean and tidy and the bed super clean and comfortable. New owners going out of their way to tidy the place up.

Old hotel, squeaky stairs and very small rooms but had a great night sleep! The bathroom/shower is communal, but there was a small sink and tap in the rooms. Cheap price was good and reflected the quality of accommodation. Would be good for touring bikers or truckers, or even people staying in the area for horse or livestock events.

Lovely meal, shame they didn’t offer the dine & discovery vouchers. Staff we’re friendly, bistro was freezing where we had our table but the rest of the pub had multiple fireplaces & had a great atmosphere.

Lovely country hotel. Ann and Mick do their very best to make you feel welcome and they are supported by an enthusiastic and lovely staff. A great pub lunch, excellent beer garden and entertainment area, plenty of parking and comfortable pub style accommodation. A play area for the kids. An easy walk to the Quirindi shopping district. Comfy lounge areas with coffee and tea if that's what you prefer. Do yourself a favour and stop by for a look if you are up that way.

I had visited the Imperial hotel about five years ago I’ve called in to see how it’s going wow what a difference they’ve changed a lot of things around and made it much better I’ve ordered a T-bone for tea the service is great . Yes I definitely recommend the T-bone . wow what a great meal . If you’re coming through town call in and have a look through the Imperial Hotel and have a cold drink or something to eat highly recommended from MWH

If you’re passing through Quirindi do yourself a favour and stop in at this pub for a meal! We were a group of 12 without a booking but nothing was too much trouble. Fantastic meals, great menu with a large variety of meals, friendly service, clean eating areas and great atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Group of us called in on Saturday for a meal and a drink. Got chatting to the new owners (only been in 6 weeks or so), Mick and Anne. Ended up locking up the bikes and booking rooms. Great food, great staff, clean comfortable rooms and a stage in the beer garden with live music. (Mick the publican is a musician and goes great). The pub is being renovated bit by bit and well worth calling in. If you are caravanning and are self contained you could probably negotiate parking up on the block behind the pub. Certainly recommended.. will definitely go back!

Good clean comfortable room great value. The food was fabulous cooked just the way we like it . We will stay again when we are in the area. The managers Belinda and David gave us a warm welcome and went out of there way to make us feel comfortable after a long drive.

Food was extremely expensive for the quality and portions, a salad took 1.5hrs to get to the table and the place wasn’t packed. Kitchen needs to work on time management and multitasking. Other than that, lovely location and it has a nice vibe.

Entertainment was fantastic, service was quick, facilities clean but my meal was terrible. Everyone else in our party was happy with there meals but not being a fish eater all I could taste was 'old dirty oil & fish' in my fried items. Otherwise a great night out.

Beautiful old building, tastefully decorated with lots of different seating, lounge, patio options. So much more than the public bar area. Really lovely. Great coffee.

A quiet location, off the main road, with a well stocked bar, providing food as well as drinks. Lunch specials are on offer, as well as pizzas, and the usual range of pub meals. Has a sheltered area at the back which is pet friendly. A good spot for lunch or dinner, plus refreshments.

5 stars for the accomodation and overall experience at this pub. I especially appreciated the secure undercover area provided for my bike, my dinner and breakfast. Lovely old pub 👍
