Went to Papa's at Imperial with friends last night we enjoyed the food and service have not eaten there before but the best pub food we have eaten this will be a regular for us ,we all had different meals ,t bone ,steak Benedict, lamb chops ,chicken schnitzel, barramundi .

We have been coming here for months most Sundays and the food is always amazing! The service is always quick and portion sizes are worth the money

We had my fathers wake here. The staff were fantastic, offering help at every turn. The are was clean and neat as were the toilets. We had finger food provided by the bistro which tasted fantastic and was generously portioned, the waffle chips were a real star. The train station is just across the road as is a bus stop and council car park.

Was going to an Italian place which closed. Girlfriend wanted to try a pub next door. I said it was a pub. We were pleasantly surprised once inside. We were asked if we had made a booking. It was full we were leaving but were approached and told it would be a 15 minute wait for a table. I was surprised at the extensive menu at Papa Bear Bistro. There was something for everyone at a good price. There is seating in three main areas including upstairs. My girlfriend had tasmanian salmon with vegetables $20 and I had Smoked salmon on bruschetta with tomato and feta cheese.$15. The service was amazing too. There are a lot of people working in the kitchen and the staff did a great job looking after their customers.

The night manager, Sukamanu is a excellent venue manager. Strict with the rules and regulations, very customer focused. Well done young man!
Unplanned stopover, glad we did.
Plenty of parking and apparently great bistro, undergoing some changes to accommodate more bistro patrons.
Next time we out west, the bistro is on the to do list.

The food here is absolutely brilliant...
The Imperial are to number 1 in Rooty Hill when it comes to quality taste and value for money
The competition doesn't even come close
I can only rate them 5 stars...they are 10/10

Our first big night out in months and boyyyyy did we have a ballllll!!!
This was our second visit and it completed exceeded our expectations.
The food was exceptional, the show was mesmerising and the service....well.....next level.
Ian attended to us last time, and this time.
Always happy. Always welcoming. Always.
He makes what he does look so easy, how I'll never know. We wanted for nothing all night. Not even water.
I love how Ian remembered us and made us laugh. That accent is the best and adds to the fun atmosphere.
It's the most fun we have had in ages.
Thanks Ian.

Old pub that was established in 1890 has been tastefully refurbished leaving its historic character. The interior was clean and comfortable, the lady behind the bar was wonderful and I just wanted to eat the Corned Beef.

My mums 80th lunch was well done by the staff of the imperial team extra points to pappa bear bistro food was great. I would recommend people to have family dinners,friends to drink at the bar and just great service. Thank you all my mum and family had a great day.

Love the pork knuckle! Actually 1st time get such thin and crunchy skin. We love it but do think it just need to have a little bit more flavour. The atmosphere is great and it felt very cosy.

I absolutely love this place. The food is so cheap but so amazing! The atmosphere is great, especially with the newly renovated indoor dining area. The staff were super accommodating for my little ones too, giving them paper to colour. My family and I come here all the time and will continue to do so! Definitely recommend!

Has the best, fill you up, pub food in and around Rooty Hill at a reasonable price. Soo good. All my family and their friends now agree with me. Told them all about it. Was a nice quiet relaxing time there this Mother's Day on the verandah upstairs. All staff are very helpful and quick.

Had a great meal there a few nights ago ,fantastic value only $16 for two Pork Chops ,salad and very good chips and to boot with a members card only $19-70 for a 750 ml bottle of Australian Chardonnay plus the beer is always great tasting .

Great tasting food with generous servings and friendly staff also didn't have to wait that long for food to be delivered to the table . Definitely looking forward to eating there again.

Good food, massive portion sizes and cheap. They restaurant only takes Cash which is a massive annoyance, especially when the Bars take eftpos. Small Pub, make sure you make a booking for dinner on Fridays and weekends as they fill up with functions. Don't overly need a booking for weekdays

Food was great for lunch and well priced. Really feels like an old school pub with old school prices. After our food, the restaurant owner came out to take our plates and chatted to us for a while.

First visit to Papa Bears Bistro . Nice quality meals. Had the Benedict Loaded Chicken Schnitzel with mash and veg crispy outside tender chicken breast in. Very good. Generous servings . Plenty on the menu to choose from. Venue is modern and pleasant. Looking forward to my next visit . Highly Recommended

Fantastic place for meals. And meals ONLY. Big credit to the restaurant and the team. They have a large variety of meals that cater for everyone. This isn't your standard pub fair. It's better and more creative. We personally loved their Steak Benedict and Crumbed Lamb Loins. Their sauces are all amazing and compliment the meals well. Well done team.
Big crosses to the bar staff. Service wasn't friendly. And $14 for a jug of soft drink is a bit rich. I've dinned at finer establishments such as 8 at Trinity for less. Don't be the reason people don't come back. A jug of soft drink shouldn't be the same price of a burger. Do better.

Excellent food, go there every week after work. The best "pub food" I've ever had, if you can even call it pub food, everything I've tried has been restaurant quality. Delicious!

Decent for the area. Nice old building looks like a proper Aussie pub from the outside. Bit of a gambling den on the inside and all their beers are owned by Japanese corporations

Always greeted warmly by staff and regulars like an old friend, service is amazing, a very chill venue that is well kept and run. Fantastic place to catch up with others for a drink, a chat or a meal. Great function room upstairs. A friendly and very layed back venue, I've always left with a smile and the atmosphere and patrons have always been pleasant and welcoming. Would definitely come again and suggest to others if they want a place to kick back with minimal fuss, or to hold a small to medium sized function.
