Went for a tap.. has the shady as dungeon style down below pokie room. Looks sketchy to walk down into but it's actually quite nice inside. Complimentary coffee and soft drinks for those gaming. Heap of older style pokie machines. Friendly staff and patrons. Clean and tidy interior.. looks a bit shabby from the outside. Limited car parks and difficult access. Short steep set of stairs to go down to get in and out.

We had our engagement party here a few weeks ago in the Platform One function room and it was amazing! The space is huge and the bar is great! it’s an easy space to decorate and the staff are very accommodating and really lovely and easy to deal with. Highly recommend hosting your next event here!

This is a spacious, clean and airy pub bistro with comfortable seating, large tables and strong lighting. The menu isn’t big but there’s something for everyone including our fav pub specials like fish and chips, schnitzels, steaks and burgers. Also on special, the night we dined was a schooner of refreshing Great Northern Super Crisp at just $6. And the great thing about the menu is that they have a selection of seniors specials, which you can avail yourself of on presentation of your seniors card. We took advantage of that, and ordered calamari, fish and chips and rissoles, to share between two of us, for a modest total of only $42. All dishes come with chips and salad or mash and vegetables, and at $14 a dish, that’s unbeatable value for money. The servings were generous and the quality of the food was first class. To start, the calamari was soft and chewy, and served with crispy chips and a nutritious salad. The main courses were equally good. My wife’s fish was succulent and tender, and it came with creamy mash and crunchy carrots and broccoli. My rissoles were tasty and well cooked, just the way I like them and they were served with chips, salad and a little bowl of warm gravy to give it that extra flavour. They were all thoroughly enjoyable meals that were nicely presented to the table on smart crockery. We ended with another of our favourites: sticky date pud with cream and ice cream ($12). The pud was moist and sweet and the fresh cream and ice cream, with a slither of strawberry, were the perfect accompaniments: No better way to end the meal. The ambience is super casual, relaxed and homely. Covid protocols are in place and adhered to, which was reassuring, and the friendly greeting that we received from the lady working the front bar, made us feel welcome. Service from the bartender, who took orders and brought the food to the table was courteous, polite and efficient. Meals were delivered quickly and everything ran smoothly from beginning to end. We couldn’t have been happier with our first visit here, and as newcomers to this area, the Indooroopilly Hotel will be seeing more of us in future. There’s a convenient little parking lot just behind the hotel, where you’ll also find a handy BWS liquor store, so you can stock up there if you’re still thirsty. It’s worth noting that the Indooroopilly Hotel is part of the ALH Group, who own and run a number of licenced, entertainment and accommodation venues across the Brisbane area. We’ve been to a few of them recently, and they all display the same high quality of professionalism, with efficient service, outstanding food and a warm, homely and welcoming atmosphere. And with affordable and modest prices that make them accessible to everyone.

The speakers were not consistent in volume out put, and the catered food was disappointing. Honestly felt like they were trying to burst your ear drums at points with the music. Wildly fluctuating volume and bass, as well as poor microphone volume when Christmas party spoke people were trying to talk through it

The pub has a great vibe, superb drinks, and fantastic service. Bert, the bartender, is the reason I keep coming back. He always encourages me to try new drinks, making each visit top-notch. Bert's dedication, creativity, and exceptional service definitely merit a well-deserved promotion.

Look, I’ve lived within walking distance of the Indooroopilly Hotel for almost 4 years now. We used to frequent there then kind of just stopped going over time. Well, we just came back and I actually feel a little silly neglecting such a wonderful local like this. My partner and I had steaks, which were incredible but it wasn’t the steaks that got us. Whoever has assembled the staff here has done an incredible job. My partner, who owns her own coffee shop, couldn’t stop talking about how she would LOVE to have any one of the staff that we dealt with working for her. After dinner we went to the sports bar for one last drink before we walked home and same thing!! Absolutely incredible service again with two totally different people. It made me happy that even though we’d been neglecting our ol’ Faithful local that they had still been doing Indro proud! We are now regulars again and I challenge the Indro locals to come in and see how your local pub (for many many years) is doing today. You won’t be disappointed. I assure you. Kudos to the management staff here. Especially whoever does the hiring. :)

Just moved to Indooroopilly and thought we’d try out our new local. Our steaks were absolutely perfect and our server was super friendly and attentive. He went out of his way to print out coloring sheets for our son to color in at the table. I don’t recall his name but he was a tall American bloke. We were surprised that there wasn’t more people in the restaurant after we had our meals but our server explained to us about the limited parking sometimes. Overall excellent experience and happy that we are within walking distance as this will def be a place we will bring people visiting our house for dinner sometime.

It's a pretty nice old pub with a lot of people in the sports bar and not too many in the other areas (Tuesday afternoon so I wouldn't expect great crowds). Staff were friendly and prices were reasonable. Obviously covid measures were in place and contact tracing using the QR code for registration is my preferred method which they have. I didn't immediately notice it but when I went up to the bar they had one that was more obvious. I didn't see any parking so I'd recommend catching the train.

Had a great experience here for Origin, one of the bartenders, tended to a group of my mates with the most professional yet casual and approachable attitude, most crack up lad I’ve ever met, funny guy, think his name was zayden.

Food and the environment was ok, it’s obvious their toilets have not been renovated. Would be good to see if they can improve their food style.

Clean and friendly service. Sides were a bit lacking but the main event of each dish was on point. Complimentary snacks in the pokie area is amazing. Not the hotels fault but there are only 5 parking bays.

A great local pub with friendly staff and reasonably priced food. Located metres away from the train station so good place to stop for a feed on the way to Suncorp Stadium. We had the lasagna and chicken parmigiana and they were perfect!
