Went in for a meal and quick drink. Food was ok but i found the atmosphere very tired and depressing

We had an afternoon at the RSL and had dinner. The staff were friendly, the drinks were flowing and dinner was delicious. The whole table agreed. People running bistro cared and came out for a chat. Good stuff and thanks!

The restaurant staff were rude and abrupt. The food was only just warm. The sauce in my spaghetti Marinara was overpowering and the spaghetti tasted like it had been cooked hours before then warmed up again.
Despite this the club is very friendly and I love the small town feel of it.

Such a friendly RSL. Staff were so friendly on our visit. First time we've been there, and were delighted with the atmosphere and service. Food was nice, very generous serving, we'll be back.

Stopped by for lunch. Had an amazing old school burger with chips for $18.
Cold beer, friendly staff, good food. Sit outside and you have a nice view as well.

Staff here are absolutely lovely. Food is good depending on what you order but overall it is the perfect place to have a drink and grab some dinner. Will definitely be returning!

Sad to say that since new ownership this once fine RSL has gone down hill.
New owners should stick to chasing criminals instead of chasing away patrons.

Restaurant was clean, staff friendly and meals were served promptly. Nicely cooked and generous serve. Will definitely return.

Regularly dine here, always great service and the food is excellent. Service is friendly and fast. The Wagyu Burger on the new menu is one of the best burgers I’ve had. The pepper sauce is out of this world and the sticky date pudding is amazing. It’s also great to see Grattan walk around the restaurant when he’s finished for night, socializing with all his customers, he’s like a rock star !

Passing through and looking for lunch. Lunch menu offers Asian and Aussie meals $13 to $19. Our honey chicken and pork stir fry were both generous and delicious. Staff were very friendly and pleasant.

Out of respect, No photos taken. Very friendly staff with very good quality food. I think this was the biggest parma I've ever had. No problem recommending this place for your lunch stop.

Nice views from the veranda.
Its a small local RSL we officially get together one day a month.. it is what it is...friendly. Old Mates restaurant is changing hands...lets hope prices are more competitive and meal sizes can come in a couple of sizes...a bowl with a Kg of chips and gravy may be a reasonable deal if you can eat it all..
If not its a waste of money...food was good... Hope the next proprietor can get portion and price right.

I was here three times to have dinner and participate in a round of Thursday's trivia. The food is thai and some of the dishes I had were really delicious (hint:pad thai).
But the reasons why I love the place is that the service is great! Staff is very, very friendly and remembered me after my first visit. They have a good sense of knowledge and are proud to be working there.
Which brings me to my main reason: Innisfail RSL really is a community center where people can come together. Eventho I was only there on thrusdays, it amazed me how many people participate in the weekly trivia.
I really recommend stopping here, have a drink or dinner, especially on a Thursday !

I'm guessing that Graten was not cooking tonight as the battered fish that my husband ordered arrived at our table white and full of oil, obviously not cooked in hot oil, and the crumbed steak I had was cut into 3 very small pieces, upside though was that the meat was cooked. Very disappointing, I just ask that Graten let's us know when he's cooking please.

I do love a good old RSL and Innisfail is a real treat to visit. ☺️👍 Catch up with a digger or two.
The hospitality was great and the food was hot, wholesome and tasty.
If you're looking for a quiet, real place for a drink and a bite to eat, check out the wonderful views from this lovely little country RSL. 🤩

Had the most pleasant time tonight with my family. Great service, friendly staff, the food was outstanding in flavour and cooked to perfection. Thank you to all from Waite staff to chefs for a superb night.
I had the marinara tonight and pavlova and fresh fruit and cream.

Had dinner at the RSL, the food is great and the staff are friendly! They’ve updated their menu and it’s so yummy! Looking forward to making this my new place to go out!

Great family friendly (for little kids) expensive food but maybe worth it fair prices drinks lots of pokies for button pushers

Good service and quick meals. Rump steak with veges was really nice, hubby had the fish burger and was happy. Kids demolished the chicken nuggets. Prices typical of an RSL. Recommended! Thank you.

Friendly and welcoming atmosphere, amazing staff service. Coldest, best beverages in Innisfail. Reasonable priced meals are amazing and delicious. Wide variety of choices to choose from. You won't be disappointed, unless you don't come here for a good feed, cold drink and a game of pool. .

Food was not great at all. Serving of chips was extremely small and very overcooked. Grab your own salad separately, it would be quicker and also make the meal more appealing if it came with the salad when served instead.
Rated this 4 star last time I was here a couple years ago, has gone way downhill since then.

Excellent food from Deep Anchor restaurant... friendly staff and great service ...would definitely recommend to families or group bookings for the venue and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal with good bar drink prices to match!!

Disgusting meal! Went there for a Christmas Lunch with group. Food cold. Roast Pork would have been ok if it was hot. The fish cremated. Nothing worse than cold chips. Desserts Pavlova and Trifle. Pavlova too sweet,, red grapes and raspberries interesting combination? and Trifle was flavourless. Staff surly. First time there won't go back. Not welcoming meals to entice you you back!
