Went in on St Patrick's day. It was packed and great atmosphere. Not sure what it's normally like but great fun.

We dropped in for an after dinner drinks. It was a pleasant experience. I'm a Guinness man and mine came with a nice head and tasted fine. My companions had various beers. Service was friendly and quick.

Walked in and it was all quiet like the pub in Ripping Yarns... But boy the food was great. The Pork Steak was fantastic and really juicy. The wife had the Irish Parmy and it was very nice too. Topped it off with a Malted Lagoon Red Ale. Very nice. Staff were very pleasant too. We taught each other about Shandy's.

Very friendly staff who know how to pour a great Guinness. Lovely place to sit with my dog whilst 'er Ladyship does Salamanca Market! The Beef in Guinness Pie was one of best I have ever tasted.....and I have tasted a lot in my 64 years!

Usual “Irish” pub, but absolutely no complaints here. The staff are friendly, the drinks are reasonably priced, and it’s in the heart of Salamanca. 👍

This place soothes the soul! 🥰 The food, staff, drinks & atmosphere is on point. It has a cosy, laid back vibe. Its a great place to catch up with mates and they have a pool table. But gotta be I quick or early if you want a game.

The Irish Murphy's pub is a great place to grab a meal and a pint. The Cape Grim Beef and Guinness pie was amazing. Make sure you ask the bar tender if this is available to order, as the QR code menu on the table may not be up to date. We also ordered the Scotch fillet steak, which was also really good and cooked the way it was requested. If you're visiting Hobart, be sure to stop in.

The food was good and the restaurant was full. We had a guiness pie, so a nice hearty meal for the cold weather - washed down with a guiness, of course! The only negative is that the staff don't wanna speak to you when you have a question!

The burgers (Mega bacon-nator, Irish beef burger) were incredible and plentiful! The security guy was very nice. The service outside is very good and the atmosphere is great! A perfect quality/price ratio 😁

Surprised there was no Sunday roast, but I definitely enjoyed a Chicken Parma and a pot of Cascade Dark Ale instead. Food came out quick and I polished the ENTIRE plate 🤤 Why? The Parma was perfectly crumbed and cooked well so I appreciated the crunch. The chips had a nice paprika-ish seasoning too (not just salt/chicken salt). Service was friendly and it was a relaxed setting for a Sunday night. I also really appreciated the chill RNB/pop playlist, so shoutout to whoever hooked up their Spotify!

Mad Feed! I loved it here. Bit strange to ask for a tip when customers order online but a apart from that. It was good all round.

I visited Irish Murphy's on a Friday night and enjoyed the Irish atmosphere and live band. The pub was cozy and lively, with friendly staff and good service. I ordered the Irish stew, which was perfect. It was hearty, tender, and flavorful, just like I prefer. However, I was disappointed with the fish and chips. The fish didn’t cook, Overall, I had a good time at Irish Murphy's, but I would stick to the Irish specialties next time.

If you like old vintage pubs this Is a great little Irish pub. Typical pub grub but with some class. It was yummy, huge servings but does not skimp on quality. Staff friendly and professional, definitely not a tacky establishment. Loved it and worth a visit.

Great location at Salamanka. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. They also make the best Bloody Mary and Margaritas in Hobart. The food is absolutely delicious, particularly the Seafood Chowder. I definitely recommend kicking back and relaxing and enjoying the cosy atmosphere.

Good pub. Been in a few times on this visit to Hobart. Had good cider, mulled wine and hot buttered rum. All good for a cold winter night.

Enjoyed another great dinner here. We always eat here when in town. The Guinness pie and the Barramundi were excellent. The pub itself is inviting and in summer it's nice to sit outside and enjoy a beer. The only criticism is they advertised a Moo Brew (a Tassie beer) deal and there was none. And there was a lack of local beers. Apart from that awesome.

Came in on a busy Saturday lunch and we thankfully had booked a table. All meals came out very quickly and the girl serving our table was lovely. I had the Keto chicken salad and it was absolutely beautiful! The grilled chicken was delicious and moist, the dressing was the perfect amount, and the mixture of avocado, lettuce, tomato etc were divine. Everyone else in my group also thoroughly enjoyed their meals.

An absolute classic in the hippest part of Hobart. This Irish pub is everything an Irish pub should be. This authentic venue is a standout in the Hobart pub scene. If you’ve never had curry fries, make sure you get them here. This is a sign of a proper of a classic Irish pub. They also have live music on most Fridays, so don’t miss out on this experience. Will certainly be back.

After a disappointing meal on the pier the night before we had a great meal at a fair price at Irish Murphy's. The food was delicious and perfect. The staff were prompt and friendly. The atmosphere was great and then got better when a troupe of Irish music performers sat at one of the big tables.and started playing. To quote my Irish music loving mate "They even had a harp". Perfect experience!
