We went for a dry-aged steak and a fish on the children's menu, and were very satisfied with the quality of the food.
The wine list is very diverse, with a wide choice ranging from affordable prices to very high quality, which is unusual.
The highlight of the evening was the very high quality service, we were served by a young French lady who gave us the best service I have experienced in the last 5 years in Australia.
Hospitality worthy of a quality restaurant in Europe.

Went for our anniversary, from start to finish, food and service was amazing! Will definitely return. Best steak we have had. Everything so fresh.

We loved the atmosphere and our food was great but the service was incredibly slow after we got our food. We wanted a condiment and had to wave down a different server, later in the meal we wanted another drink and had to ask the hostess. We were seated to the side of the bar and could clearly see the 2 bartenders cleaning up around the bar and not making our drinks finally 10 minutes later we had them but were now done with our meal. Maybe could understand slow service if they were busy but they were not, there were only a few other patrons. Hopefully this was just a one time thing, I would still go back and try it again.

The food was sensational! I would gladly eat here again. The steaks are just beyond good, and the sides paired beautifully.
Our waitstaff were polite and efficient, but our waitress had a little trouble understanding some of the things we said. English was clearly her second language. That being said, our order was perfect 👌🏻
If you walk past the reasturant, you are sure to be drawn in with the alluring smells. You can also walk upstairs to the bar for a few drinks.

So happy with our dinner experience. Firstly, the staff were absolutely incredible and so kind and courteous, one of the staff members even offered to take a photo for us as we celebrated a special occasion. Value for money was definitely a tick, food was delivered quickly, and it tasted absolutely beautiful! Would definitely come back and highly recommend the Wagyu steak! I was also unsure of a particular wine, and they offered taste testing, which is great! ☺️ can’t wait to go back!

Rustic venue. Came here for happy hour and a cheese plate. Cheeses were delicious. Came back for dinner another night and they managed to squeeze 10 of us without a booking - legends. Staff were lovely. Steak was good.

Oyster happy hour is a must do. The food was absolutely beautiful and the best cocktails I have ever tried. Service was exceptional. Only thing I would change is to make the sides a little smaller and a bit cheaper

Our group had dinner here last night with 6 adults and 6 kids. We had a selection of the starters to share and they were delicious! The highlights were the Seared Tuna and the Fried cheese, but everything was really tasty. The steaks were awesome and cooked to perfection as per our requests. The mash that comes with the steaks and the side of cauliflower cheese was so so good. Highly recommend this place.

Oh wow. What a find. Happy hour of a dozen oysters between 5 and 6pm. I'm in heaven. Waiting staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and as a solo traveller there's no problem having a booth to myself. Thanks for a wonderful experience Ironbar team

Love the vibes coming from this place. Friendly staff, great alcohol selections and well cooked food. A small wait on the food but came out fresh and hot. Ordered the Fried Chicken Burger and the Beef Burger. No complaints!

Last night was the second time in the last month that we’ve had steaks that are under done and had to be sent back to cook properly. It’s a very expensive steakhouse and we used to go every few weeks. We also went in to book a table in the morning, only to be told to book online, so I went online, you have to pay $35 per head UP FRONT to secure a table! I was appalled. Won’t be back. Very disappointed.

I have spent five weeks in Australia and have not eaten at any restaurant or bar more than once. I have eaten here THREE times, lovely oysters, great tasty food and very friendly service from the staff. Have 3-4 starters and treat it like a Tapas. Excellent atmosphere!!

I am actually sat down giving my review having just finished an absolutely fantastic meal. We had some taster menu starters and I followed them up with a 300g wagyu rib fillet. The starters were very tasty and nicely varied and presented. My steak which I had ordered rare was cooked to perfection. My other half had ordered some pork ribs in a sweet sauce which she says is delicious,(I had some and I agree). The service has been very good, attentive staff and prompt serving of our meal. I can thoroughly recommend the IronBar, really pleased.👍👍👍

Great place. Great staff and service. We ate there several times over our stay. Had pork ribs at lunch, they're fell off the bone. Their fish was stunning, so was there tassie steak... great experience all around. 2023 Back again ! Great place ! Our son came on this trip he polished a rack of ribs and mac and cheese. Then, next night, he had a steak. I love the bowl of greens. You guys really know your business. Well done, see you again in 2024...

Food was quite expensive for what we got! Snapper with a tiny Asian side salad and 40 day dry aged steak with 2+ marbling score with a Very small piped mash potato and teaspoon of Dijon mustard for $76 just for the steak!
Atmosphere was lacking. Lucky to be 5 other people in the restaurant within the 2 hours that we were there.
We wouldn't return and hope the owners bring down the price and try to get more customers. We were given the wrong information and purchased a dozen oysters and told they were all cooked. 6 of them were.
Paddy's Irish pub across the road was going off! Would definitely return there.

Food was great, service was great, don't understand why the bottom bar has a lot more expensive beers...... the thing to be wary of(that I have never had to do on a booking anywhere) is to put a credit card retainer to guarantee booking..prices were ok for food quality, but I never had steak and at the prices I would hope they are outstanding. Overall good food and service at upmarket price.

Excellent food, the oysters with pineapple, beef fat and Habanero were so good. Had the lamb cutlets and ribs which were amazing, genuinely some of the best ribs I’ve tasted! Would highly recommend!

Bookings recommended. Great steaks. Nice taste sides. Lovely cocktails, recommend the Princess of Monaco. The grilled prawns were very nice, should be a main dish as they were delicious as was the deconstructed desert. Serving staff were very pleasant. Recommended it to another couple who also ate there. On the main street outdoor and indoor seating.

Booked for 6.30 order drinks and meal within 15 minutes. Come 8.00 still no food, went to front of house who went to charge us for our meals. Told him we hadn’t received them as yet, he walked off came back 15 minutes later with the meals no apology and very rude.

As soon as we were greeted, the whole experience was excellent. The food was absolutely beautiful (Australian Wagyu recommended) & the service was on point. Barely any waiting time for food also. Highly recommended!

A lovely rustic feel seated on the footpath side near the road which worked out well as the evening was pretty quiet. We ordered drinks a Bloody Mary and Ginger beer followed by a doz oysters cooked three ways and scallops. All were lovely, then mains of lamb and chicken skewers and an apple and rhubarb crumble to finish. All were presented beautifully and very tasty. All table service and Bernice was very attentive and amenable, so thank you IronBar.
** came back for a second round of eye fillet and fish curry both didn’t disappoint so eating stands!

All round average experience, we were looking forward to eating here as lovers of aged meats but left less than excited.
Pork ribs were tough and over cooked, the beef did not have any strong aged flavours, for me the best part of the meal was the corn, given this I feel the menu is quite over priced for what it is.
The staff were pleasant, particularly the young lady serving us she was lovely, engaging and happy to hear our feedback

Add a great night out with friends. The place has a nice atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful. Had the oysters Kirkpatrick . The oysters were nice but the sauce was thick and not your standard Kirkpatrick just a bit heavy and over powering. We tried a couple of different steaks. A dry aged and a ribeye. Cooked as we asked and tasty. A bit on the pricey side but it's nice to spoil your self every now and then . Extensive wine menu again most on the pricey side. Overall don't go there for a cheap feed . Go there and enjoy some quality meat and wine and enjoy the night. All most forgot the deserts were very good

Absolutely amazing food here!!! I had lamb cutlets so tender & all flavours were delicious. We also had pork ribs & eye fillet just delicious too. The side potatoes are really Devine flavours just pop!

300g scotch fillet dry aged steak was tender and cooked perfectly! Lamb was delicious also!
The service was fantastic - all the team were attentive and pleasant. Unfortunately the G&T was a little flat but other than that all very enjoyable.
