Relaxed rooms in an informal hotel offering a breezy bar & grill with a dining terrace. This low-key hotel in the central business district is an 11-minute walk from the Riversleigh Fossil Centre and 14 minutes on foot from interactive tours at the Hard Times Mine. Relaxed rooms come with complimentary Wi-Fi, snacks and water, as well as flat-screen TVs, desks, minifridges, and tea and coffeemaking facilities. All feature photographs of the surrounding area; some offer street views. Room service is available. A laid-back bar and grill features terrace dining and a kids' play area. Wow! What a place for food and drinks.
Loved it, service was quick and food was good.
Decent portions and value for money.
We tried their chicken and stake and it was very tasty, well cooked to the point we asked for, Friday and Saturday were pretty happening live music and a lot of ppl around.

Went to the Isa Hotel for dinner. Had some Barramundi with Chips. It tasted delicious. However the booth I was sat in wasn't the cleanest, and for some reason the windows were wide open. The windows being open made it slightly awkward as it let in all the heat and bugs. The staff was very generous though and closed it for me after a short while.

Waited 1.5 hour for food only to be told it wasn’t put in to the cooks. Food come out wrong, milk jug for tea wasn’t washed properly. . Manager in office couldn’t even be bothered to come out when asked to speak to management.

Very hard to find the receptionist, doesn't make sense at all. Room was spacious but old. Curtain, carpet, pillows, kettle need to be replaced. And I wasn't sure what happened with the door, but it was making weird sound like someone trying to get in, but when we opened the door, nobody was there. Won't stay here again.

Progressively worse service for breakfast. On multiple occasions I have been waiting for 15-20 minutes to even be acknowledged so we can start ordering.
The problems only happen when the asian wait staff are not present. All of your imported help needs to pull there beads in and do better

The meals are so poor. I've sent multiple steaks back because they are overcooked. Staff however are really friendly and super professional.

Steak was pretty good, slaw was alright, baked potato was off. Meal was massive and worth the price, but baked potato was off. Beer was great.

Stayed here twice while on our road trip which was a mix of camping and hotels.
Great rooms and very convenient to everything. Rooms very comfortable, beer was cold and the food was good 👍
Recommend staying there.

So I Had booked two weeks in advance for my birthday dinner and when we arrived to the venue. I was advised that my booking wasn’t present or didn’t go through the system. I did try to contact the venue ahead of time to see if it was booked but no one answered the phone and no response to my emails for further information.
We was seated by a beautiful young waitress who helped us immensely, moved some table and chairs to accommodate us, super sweet, great attitude and customer care was on point! Shout out to her!
But besides the few hiccups, the food and cocktails were impeccable and very good atmosphere.
Just to be safe please check with the restaurant staff or front desk about bookings because it may or may not be present on their system. Even if You received a confirmation code.

Red Earth Boutique Hotel. We booked an Executive Room. We got a run down room with closet doors that didn’t open or close, drawers missing, old pilled pillows and sheets, an uncomfortable bed an air Conditioner that clicked loudly all night and a Guest balcony next to our room. At midnight my wife was bitten twice by a bug in the bed (not a mosquito) that was very painful, her face and chin became swollen for three days and had small bite marks. At 1 am we packed up and left to drive on to Darwin and cancelled our booking for the return trip. No refund was offered.

Overall a great service, with friendly and helpful staff. Great food and good atmosphere. Big size TV in the room with a great casting feature. Allows you to watch anything from your own phone. Because I have Netflix, Disney+, Prime, Binge etc. I could watch all my favourite movies and shows.
The rooms are average they are cleaned daily, which for me was great. But the overall cleanliness wasn't the best. They need to get a bit more thorough and clean some cobwebs from the room. Appart from that, everything else was fantastic.

I've stayed here many times (10+) for business over the years, the hotel itself is starting to feel very tired. The hallways to the rooms are grim, the whole the place just needs some love.

I've never stayed at the hotel part but the recent renos to the restaurant patio were a great change. Lost a bit of the playground and the permanent shade over it though. But the extra seating outside and the deck + bar are great. Would be nice if they asked for the rewards card when you pay, considering how much money we spend there. A bit of consistency with portion size on the bbq/smoked meat platters would be nice too. We've bought the two person meal and it was the exact same (if not less than) the one person meal. Yet its double the price. Was quite disappointing.

HUGE meals for lunch...hamburger home made and king size! Roasted pumpkin risotto very generous serve too. Neither of us could finish our meals.
The cuts of steak looked amazing...a real advertisement for local beef producers.
Spacious dining area being used by all age groups. Good customer service.

Got their Korean Sticky Pork Belly bowl for dinner and waited up to 50mins for this on the 19th June (Wed) The restaurant was seemly busy and packed during that period so I do understand the longer time taken to serve the food. However, couldn't helo but to feel mega dissapointed on what I get. As seen on the picture food definitely not appetizing.
Rice was overcooked and mush. The pork belly was charred and barely have any flavour. Not the mentioned it was very thin and only 3 slices were given considering I paid $25 for this. The kimchi cabbage served was pure white where it supposed to be reddish or have a tinge of spicinese or red. Overall the food was a mega dissapointment especially having to wait close to an hour for it. Gimme my money back🥲
Ps: I was still starving after this and went to get food at some Maccas instead.

Food was good but not spectacular. The mash was out of a box or frozen or something and I had ribs but they were tough and not falling off bone as expected and advertised....the service was good and the hotel was clean

I could rant on a lot but will just give the highlights
Room - clean but no maintenance for a looong time. I’ve stayed in worse, but only in 3rd world countries. Check out the photos.
Noise - its above a pub so fair game, but beware, Thur is karaoke night till late, lots of punters, not so much talent.
Shower - clean, hot at night, cold in the morning.
Pub grub downstairs is good, cold beer…

Beers always taste 10x better after a couple weeks in the field and these were no different.
Great interior decorations and high level of cleanliness. Definitely stop by if you’re looking for a bite to eat or some nice, cold beers to drink.

Asked to moved room as I was over the cooling system for the kitchen that also included barbed wire surround.. Room also has huge paint feeling off ceiling.. The alternate room had literally a 1/4 window and was also 1/2 the size of the current room and closest to the noisest section of property. Went to Rodeo Grill for dinner... no service, had to ask how to order food, drinks, etc.. Food was horrendous. I paid a fortune for buffalo wings, salt and pepper squid and the driest coleslaw that ever existed at a cost of $6.for the bowl.. packaged it up myself (on principal, as I paid for it) and walked across the street and ordered dominos.... So I right this sitting on my bed above the peeling paint {Picture attached}, eating Hawaiian pizza. I am a chef so I understand food service. The was disgraceful. Unfortunately, I am here another night.. Will be eating out and spending as little time in the room as possible. Definitely would NOT recommend to anyone. Will be speaking to management tomorrow will probably leave a day early.. not worth staying.

A little tired but clean. Avoid rooms over the beer garden. Not a chance of sleeping with the music. Rodeo bistro not the cheapest meal in town by far. But it works. Remember, this the Isa, so no 5 star should be expected. And do steak. Great steak. You are not near the ocean so oysters don’t quite make it in good condition.

4 of us had a meal here on Friday nite. We all enjoyed our meals.
Moved on to the bar outside. Guy singing and playing guitar .
Then, onto the polkie lounge, to try our luck at the polkies. Didn't have a win, but enjoyed out night out at the Isa.
