Wow. Went to this place for a nice dinner and it was way beyond just nice. The food was delicious and the dessert phenomenal. They even put flowers on our plate. Waiters were very kind and it’s a cosy environment for a winters dinner. Would love to see sticky date pudding back on the menu in winter. Thank you 😊

With regret I have to voice my disappointment with my meal. I have been there on numerous occasions and had no reason to complain.
I ordered chicken stuffed with shrimp, scallops etc. When I received my meal it looked delicious, but when I opened it the chicken was totally raw, I asked the waiter to have a look & he admitted it was raw & apologised and he will return it to the chef. I ordered the same meal & requested the chicken to be well cooked as anybody would expect.
I received the meal & when I opened the chicken it was also raw, I asked the waiter to have a look & he apologised and offered me another meal I said I've been put off & couldn't eat anything after that, & wasn't going to pay for a raw chicked meal. I requested to see the chef, but he didn't come. We waited for the bill 1/2 hr which didn't help, as I walked out I passed the kitchen spoke with the chef he apologised for the 1st meal which he admitted was raw. He said he checked the second meal & it was cooked, I told him chicked isn't pink when cooked & he replied saying it was the color from the shrimps. I think that's a pathetic answer coming from a chef.
I left couldn't believe what he just said, to cover his back.

Chicken is pink and some places totally raw, nothing like the color of the shrimps.
I totally understand mistakes happen but make an attempt to correct it the 2nd. time,
Serving raw chicken is totally unacceptable. Ask the HEALTH DEPT.

Went for lunch today. Staff were very friendly, food came out really quickly and was beautifully presented. Friends were very.impressed and said it was the best service by staff and nicest food they'd had for a long time. Definitely will be back.

We have dined at JBJ's for some time now. Each time we come the Customer Service is Outstanding and Genuine Happiness ...Menu is vast too choose from ,there is also a Wood Fire Pizza Oven! Good Management to achieve loyal friendly staff...Well Done

We come here quite often. There is a new menu. I ordered the Asian Soecial in sweet chilli sauce. Quite disappointing although the vegetables were crispy but edible , the dish was presented well to only be let down with a watered down sauce that had no flavour at all. I can cook better than this at home. Need to fix this dish chef.

They should strike Pizza off the menu and get rid of the woodfire oven that is just an ornament. The quality and method hasn't changed in years and I regret giving it another try. It's truly an embarassment to Melbourne and Italians that they have a huge woodfire oven, but have chosen to use pre-made pizza bases that I presume are cooked in some other device, not the woodfire oven. I had the "Gourmet" pizza of Southern Chicken with, I kid you not, crumbed chicken cut into cubes. It was a sacrilegious experience that I urge you against. Wine list is also a dismal offer for avid wine enthusiasts, and there's not a craft beer to be found. Otherwise, the place is clean, service good, ambience ok for what it is, and it keeps locals employed. I must state there are many other food options, including some great one-off specials and Asian options that I was told are another class to the the pizza. I also heard it was way better in the past, with actual woodfired pizza and more high-quality, refined meals. As a pokies pub, not a gastro pub, I guess it suits preferences of the average customer base, and Seniors.

These chefs need a medal, totally 6 star food quality and presentation. I had a gluten free salmon risotto and my husband had pizza this evening. At lunch he had a perfectly cooked Scotch and I had a gluten free Caesar salad.Meals served hot on the plate with loads of fresh ingredients, even the lemon wedges were de-seeded. Such attention to detail we did not find anywhere else in the Melbourne area after eating out half a dozen times over 3 days. To add to this, the wait staff were exceptionally attentive and friendly. A great meal served in a really wonderful atmosphere ...thank you so much

Staff are always friendly. Food is fantastic. Brilliant menu at a very reasonable price.

Nice surroundings, service was adequate. The veal scallopini was loaded with salt. I could eat the veal but the scallopini sauce was so salty that it was inedible. To be fair, the others who had different meals enjoyed theirs. Prices were typical for this sort of venue. But charging $5 for plates for the birthday cake is just plain greedy and petty. It isn't a good look.

Meal was not value for money, I ordered main calamari and it was an almost identical size to the entree, very disappointing. Also placed right next to the function room whilst a function was being held, extremely noisy and freezing cold when the sliding door kept opening and closing. There was ample room elsewhere in the restaurant, better planning by their team is required. Not sure I will go back as this is the 2nd time this has happened. Other than that the food was nice

I contacted the Chef prior to dining, due to food intolerances, and he was very responsive and helpful. The pizza was amazing, as was the dessert they allowed me to concoct with two of their existing ingredients! I would definitely eat there again, next time I'm up that end of town.

Had the worst roast dinner. Everything just tasted bad. Only had one bite of everything and lost my appetite completely.

Had dinner two nights - service very good, food very tasty - just overcooked. Lamb Rump with couscous and Pork with pumpkin purée, broccoli, and creamy pepper corn sauce

Had dinner here tonight and was very impressed.
Excellent service, delicious food and lovely atmosphere.

Great place with multiple entertainment areas. Quality food at excellent prices. Seniors menu also available. Accommodation adjacent. Well worth stopping by!

Great food and service at the sports bar. Seafood platter was yummy and big in portion size.
Dessert was brulee and choc mouse and both were great!

Food was great. I had the chicken schnitzel and a coke. Came out fast and was perfect. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant has a great atmosphere. Will be back!

First time going to this place and will come back whenever I'm in the region. Great food, presentation and staff. A really nice place for a feed or pokies,if your that way inclined. All staff were great. 5 Star

Been here twice and it’s a Great place. The food is great and service is absolutely amazing. Joined as a member as well. Such wonderful service from everyone

Awesome place to eat and relax, I ate there with some family members and had a great experience. Meal shown in picture is Singapore Noodles for $26

Always a nice place to have a meal. The restaurant is so inviting and a very large open space to move around without being seated too close to other guests. The ambience is lovely and so are the wait staff (especially the mature lady named Kylie). Most importantly, the food has always been consistently good for us. If your a carnivore like me and very hungry, I highly recommend the meat platter!!!
