You can tell this pub cares about their patrons alot! In gaming they bring around fried snacks, toasted sandwiches, packets of chips and little treats! All the staff there are amazing especially Jassie!

Went there and the service by the waiter Hope was unreal she is kind and freindly always asking if you need anything and hows the night is going..the food was cooked perfectly nice and peaceful had a great meal... go there every now and then and its always great service and awesome food.

Went for dinner on Sunday night for my friends Birthday and this is the second time Iv been disappointed with the food at the tavern. We got a Bruschetta, deep fried Camembert and the guiness pie with mash and onion rings. The Bruschetta was overpriced for what we got and awful didnt even look nice on the plate or what the picture looked like. My partner took it back to complain and the lady on the till just offered to put more tomato on and gave it back to her. No refund no replacement nothing. The deep fried Camembert was cold. The pie was alright but the onion rings on top were hard and chewy. I also ordered cocktails from the bar and I understand it was busy but when I get told to order off the app in a rude tone it's not nice. Again I understand it was busy but considering my phone was not working properly either maybe it should be taken into consideration that not a lot of people use phones and would rather talk to a person instead of staring at a screen. The only great thing about this place is BOBBY THE BUS DRIVER!! Wonderful man and actually made my night very polite and chatty and I will only come back to chat to this guy. Pictures of my food are attached. Very very overpriced food for the quality of the food 👎👎

Visited Jimboomba Tavern with my family and absolutely loved it. Great place to take the family and great friendly staff. Must single out Jassie who made the night with her great personality and friendly helpful customer service. 5 stars all round.

Very crowded on a Saturday night. We had the steak, which was excellent. There was a stuff-up at our table because some entrees were ordered, delaying the main meals by a while but the staff was very helpful and tried to make it right.

This tavern is my favourite place to stop and have a cold one, and have a chat with the lovely staff and Carly the Manager is always welcoming to everyone.

This place has gotten much worse over time. I've been here a few times for special family occasions but ten months ago their menu totally plummeted. There is no catering for the gluten free or vegetarians worth speaking of, and the prices have inflated more than they already were. It used to be a premium price for premium-quality food, but after sitting down to read the menu we all just decided to leave. It's a sad result and I cannot understand why they'd cut the better half of their menu.
The staff and aesthetic are still alright. Although there's not much point if there's nothing reasonable to eat.
Edit: The reply they gave to this review is nonsense. They've had this limited menu for 10 months, so they're not "in the middle" of changing their menu as they claim. Before that I could at least trust their honesty... but now I must further decrase the review stars.

The staff were so friendly, the food was great! All requests "sauces separate" "toppers separate" etc etc (we were 1 of those customers) were filled with a smile..no problem attitude!

The staff are very lovely and welcoming!
Table ordering made things very easy. Both drinks and food came out quickly and easily.
Have been for lunch and dinner and have found it to be consistent with good food and service!
The kids area is great too and lots of tables close to keep an good eye on them!

The oil must have be old, the food was greasey and tasted horrible. The steak was well well done and was supposed to medium rare.

My husband and I eat here every night. I have a number of allergies and the wait staff and kitchen staff go above and beyond to cater for my special needs. The food is wonderful and the staff are lovely, highly recommend Jimboomba Tavern 👌

Meals were good. Drinks cold but most of all the personable lady, Hope made us feel welcome and gave us a laugh.

Lovely! It was our first visit to the Tavern for lunch. Rosie was delightful. Went out of her way to make us feel welcome & accomodate our requests. Very pleasant & happy woman. The meals were good too. Generous portions for a Seniors meal. Highly recommend. We would love to have bought our little Cavoodle dog to the beer garden but instead left her elsewhere & ate in air conditioning as it was a super hot day. Didn't see any signs to see if dogs welcome at outside tables.

It was our first experience today and can honestly say it was the best pub meal we have had in ages. I got SO MUCH calamari for $16, and it was perfectly cooked. I also added the $5 sides of chips and caesar salad which were a great size, beautiful quality and excellent value. And the pepper gravy - oh my goodness! It was easily as good as a steakhouse gravy, so thick and creamy. It was so much great food for less than $30. I wish I had taken some pictures to share. We will definitely be back.

Has a great meal with the family over the weekend, Jas was so helpful with our little girl, went over and above to make sure we enjoyed our meal and looked after everything we asked for.

Got there pretty late and pretty sure they about to close kitchen but they were kind enough to let us order. We got Oysters, calamari, beef skewers and Surf & Turf steak.
Oysters surprisingly good way better than I expected clean enough and creamy.
Calamari was a pub quality but bit better.
Skewers were delicious good portion for a petite person, 4x skewers with bed of salad wished if the salad had dressing and if it did, it feels like nothing on it. Steak is a pub quality but the sauce was not the best tasting one, can’t pin the issue just didn’t taste as good as someone would’ve hoped I guess. At the end of the day it’s a pub food, good and available.
Pub quality: Good delicious food but not a restaurant specialty.

Food is fine but the menu is very basic. We had finished our meals for more than twenty minutes and even though there was four staff members including a manager floating around, tables were still not cleared. Basic hospitality practice.

First visit to Jimboomba Tavern and will definitely be making a return visit. Lovely fresh tasty meals, great atmosphere and all topped off by a fabulous staff member by the name of Jassie who was working in the gaming/pokies area. Wish all establishments had staff as friendly and helpful as Jassie. Very relaxing night.

Cocktail menu is forever changing which I love! Always trying something new!
This is our local go to for dinner, we will often dine as a family of 4 but also a larger group for events.
Customer service is always amazing.
It’s been a little while in-between visits and Last night the meals were delicious and worth the time to write this review!

Came in the other day for our first time and was served by jassy (for food and drinks. She has an absolutely wonderful personality and we had some funny quick chats, the food and drinks were great and will definitely be coming back again the vibe was great

Ahhhhh Hope, couldn't ask for a better waitress, always smiling, super friendly, as well as professional,nothing is to much trouble for Hope.

Absolutely love the Jimboomba Tavern. My husband and I took my mum & dad for lunch, as it was my mums 92yr birthday. The staff especially Rosie was absolutely wonderful. I had made a reservation & noted that is was my mums birthday. We walked in & there were Balloons at our table & at the end of our wonderful lunch, Rosie came out with a wonderful cake slice with whipped cream & some strawberries, & a candle. Mum absolutely loved it, & was so surprised & happy at such a wonderful throught.
The food as always was wonderful, but the look on my mum's face was priceless. 💕
