Wish i could give this a no stars. tried making a booking over phone and i was greeting to a bellend chucking slurs at me like it was nothing. My audio must not have been working and i called back and got verbally and told to “suck a fat one” for simply not speaking (i was but he couldn’t me i assume)
Such a terrible experience as i have heard many good reviews about this place
Dont recommend horrible owner.

Will NEVER come here again. Today witnessed one of the staff (I think it was a manager) forcedly eject two mentally impaired patrons and proceed to throw a rock at them over dean street as they walked to the tram! Admittedly, these guys had drank a bit and were hurling abuse but the duty of care required by the staff here was completely absent. Absolutely disgusted with this establishment.

was told that there was no table so either sit in the sports bar or had to sit on a table that my legs were tucked into , guy was standing next to me with his beer and there was a table for 7 or 8 people for 1 person Didn’t bring cutlery to us until food was brought to the table eventually got to a table 3 people I was sitting with had their food was still waiting for mine and eventually once I got the food the thing that I could taste the most in salt and pepper calamari was pepper overall wouldn’t go back and as someone who does hospitality the customer service has to be up there and unfortunately this wasn’t

A place to get together with freinds.
The Staff are phenomenal people.

The food here was fantastic. Group of 10 people all food came out hot.
There is an area for pokies and tab.
Staff were friendly, patient and accommodating.
Wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Only place to get decent coffee after everything is shut on Puckle St. Staff are friendly and polite. Nice and cosy space.

Meals were slow to come out. Very noisy. Some patrons very vocal with foul language. Asked bar staff to tell them to tone it down.

JC is very clean, friendly staff and always a great place to catch up with some mates for $5 schooners. Cheap meals and grouse parking.

I've been here a few times and always had a great time. Staff are friendly, food is good and the drinks are flowing. Fair price with a few good specials depending on times and days. Recommended for a good feed for a decent price. :)

It was Parma night on Thursday. A few varieties to choose from . Very filling. Good price.

I personally love the steaks here. 17.90 steak nights Wednesday with a pot a beer. You really can't go wrong. Chips are always perfectly made and a side of salad to start with. Highly recommended.

We had our daughters 21st this weekend at the function room.
I can't praise Dennis and all the staff enough for a fantastic night. They went above and beyond to ensure we had smooth and great night.
Venue was perfect and very impressive.

Had lunch today ordered the Soup of the day which was Lentil Soup could not eat it it was so Salty the toast was cold ordered a Latte that was even worse than the soup it was so strong you could not drink it asked for extra milk which didn’t help ..I wouldn’t not recommend

Had a very dry steak sandwich here a few years back. Thought I'd give them a second chance.
Sampled the roast special. It was poor, served in a bowl with thinly sliced grey pork, flavourless gravy, no apple sauce and dry overcooked crackling. The potato and pumpkin was OK but overall very disappointing.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff ready to make you smile. Gaming area is neat, clean and has a great array of games. Complimentary coffee and soft drinks for the punters. Regular customers ice encountered are friendly, and the outdoor smoking area is very clean and quiet.

Don’t normally review a cheap eat especially a club or a pasta night. However, we stumbled on a pasta night (Tuesday) special. Decided on spaghetti marinara $20 with a complimentary drink. King prawns, muscles, scallops and calamari. Great value for $20. The classic clubby carpet was a give away but when you are tired and not frocked up it was perfect to blend into the pattern. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Can't say anything about the food, but if it's the same as the staff, then expect food that is miserable, cold, and hates its life.
If you don't like people, then don't work where you have to deal with people.
Customer service isn't the job for miserable people.
The job for miserable people is just being a miserable person....that's an industry now haven't you heard??

As others have alluded to - absolutely awful atmosphere. Couldn't wait to get out of the joint. Staff are like the kids from Village of the Damned. Weird, alien like people who seem utterly devoid of people skills. Never faced this strangeness at a pub/entertainment venue before. Maybe Count Dracula owns the joint? Would be the only explanation for the zombie-like hospitality.
Only visit if you're looking for an oddity - absolutely awful place.

A huge pub pokies center that has numerous games.
Very clean and staff is very helpful.
large food court.
It is equipped with a train station and many buses.
Generally it is great and I will be here again soon.
