We went for dinner at Silver's and had a great meal. Ajmer Goat Curry and the Sri Lankan Chicken Curry were superb. Service very good. It's a few blocks from the centre. A nice 10 minute walk. Just walk through the main bar and head out the back to a nicely decored restaurant. Well worth a visit if you want a top notch meal.

We dined there a couple of times during a visit to Broken Hill. The staff were great, the chicken curry and fish curry were fantastic. Heaps of space, highly recommended

Valentines Day 2017. Dining room was beautifully decorated. The Wait staff were outstanding in their service and knowledge of the menu items and wines. Fine Dining cuisine. Delicious and expertly prepared. Wait time was quite fast considering the amount of bookings that night. Complimentary gifts were supplied (Teddy and small box of chocolates) at each table made the night even better. Staff go above and beyond to make sure your dining experience is positive and memorable.

This is a pretty cool old hotel. It was right across the road from our accommodation so that was convenient. The food was pretty good although there was quite a wait because of the number of people there for dinner.

Such a pleasant surprise once you go inside. Friendly staff serving excellent food. Even the table water was done in style. Would give 6 stars if I could. Even the patrons were a friendly, happy bunch.

Popped in for a meal with friends while visiting Broken Hill. While the pub itself is unassuming the meals were absolutely delicious. Great work chef!!!

Mike's bar service was exceptional. So efficient and the rissoles on the pub grub menu were up there with the best. Highly recommended

I chose this hotel for a meal after driving 846km because,(a) it was opposite the motel I had booked into & (b) it was 'open' according to Google Maps. I was tired & just wanted a quick, basic, meal. The motel opposite did not open until 6pm, but when entering this place, it too, did not open the kitchen until the same time. The young man behind the bar presented me with a menu & quickly took my order mentioning that it would probably get quite busy! He was not wrong. I wandered out to the spacious ' beer garden' which is really another huge area with tables & chairs plus some Chesterfield type sofas dotted around. After 6.30pm I began writing this review with the intention of giving only one star! Just then my meal arrived! After observing how hard the staff were working, and after tasting my food, the star rating shot up to the max! My chicken schnitzel chips & salad were superb! A huge, tender chicken breast with the parmagiana option, together with salad & chips almost floored me with it's size but I managed to finish the lot! I had been tempted to order one of the curries which the young barman who had served me originally had recommended, but sadly I reneged. I have no doubt that any item on the menu would be equally as impressive as my selection but I have bookmarked this establishment as a 'must visit' if I am fortunate enough to pass through Broken Hill again. Not ordering the goat curry will haunt me forever I think!

Hidden gem. Casual front bar and gaming room (country pub style) with a relaxed beer garden and dining room out the back. The curries are amazing - fresh, fragrant and delicious. The steak, cooked to perfection. Don’t be put off by the outside - walk in for a culinary delight hidden at the edge of the city.

Had many meals there over the past few weeks. Until the last one during the first state of origin match. Meal arrived after an hour. And immediately after we were confronted by a begger. Reluctantly we offered her a, chip. She took the whole bowl. Then came back and sat at the table demanding a full meal. Reluctantly again we gave the balance of the food on our plates. Eventually staff asked if we had a problem. We said yes. Nothing was done. She was, still in the pub. And we were offered nothing for our experience. Its ok. Lesson learned. We found a much better place to eat. BIG MISTAKE IN HOSPITALITY.

Great staff good food and best of all allowed our dog to be next to us on her rug while we ate. New management still finding their way but being dog friendly will boost business with the traveling nomads. Don't believe me try a search for dog friendly cafe or pubs in broken hill.

Great little find, an absolute must if you are in Broken Hill. After being told at the "broken hill resort" they didn't have half the menu we ventured down to the Junction. The food was amazing, you must try the curries absolutely spot on. Locals super friendly. If ever we are in the area again will definitely return and try another curry from the menu.

Great hotel, it was hard to know if it was open.? The Bar is a dark timber look. Quiet place for a beer. Nice.

Delicious food and friendly staff. One of the best pub meals I’ve had. The bruschetta and surf n turf were unreal and curries also very good. Highly recommend if you’re in Broken Hill.

Delicious comfort food, country style with acres of space for big groups or small. Our food options were lovely. Their idea of a 1/2 serve is my idea of a big meal. So a hard working tradie, truckie or miner would get a huge meal for an excellent price. Enough range to suit everyone, especially if you want nostalgia dishes done really well but with modern presentation. Generous serves of wine but a very limited range. Tap lines for beer badly in need of cleaning. Takeaway prices competitive with grog chains. Opening times suit travelers for lunch or dinner and locals/tourists for a night out, especially if you are heading to Argent St nightlife.

Best Curry in town.. and although I haven’t had all their meals (getting there) What I have had are quality fresh. Friendly staff at the bar. Can get a bit noisy in the back due to voices bounce off the tin walls and the round tables are strangely low than normal places..But much better inside where the bar is if there is only two of you. Other than that, I keep coming back as the food is good.

Atmosphere was not very friendly. They didn't treat strangers very well. If you want to be acknowledged make sure you're a local.
