What a great surprise booked dinner for kids because there is a great play area. We arrived and there was also entertainment “Hold the animals” kids had a fabulous time so did we.
Food and alcohol all great prices and not skimpy on pouring wine as most places are!!!
We have young children and adult children so Will definitely continue going back a favourite place for all the family.

We had my daughter's christening and it was great for family event with kids. Spacious nappy change tables with toddler toilet, excellent playground, plenty of room around the table. Food was very good. Kids were entertained which made for a relaxing day for parents. Functions manager Josie was very accommodating and understood needs of our big Italian family. She also threw in some extras. Tyra was very thoughtful, pleasant and responsive on the day. Our guests were very pleased and all talked about coming there for future functions. Very satisfied customer

We had lunch at Kealba Hotel for Mothers Day. Food came out quick and it was amazing, also good serving sizes. The only down side was it was only a 2 hour sitting and we were asked to move to the sports bar, l understood why as it’s one of the busiest days for hospitality. Either way we all enjoyed our selves

We had a birthday of 35 people. The food came out very fast with everyone eating at the same time. We had a very pleasant time as the food was very nice aswell. Very satisfied with the service at kealba hotel and will be doing many more functions with them in the future.

We booked a large table for Mothers Day. The food and service was great, atmosphere was lovely and the kids were happy playing in the large play area.
The only downside was that a number of our attendees were gone quite a time waiting in the line to order food... like 20 minutes.
Would be great to see QR code implemented to avoid this in the future.
Aside from this, I would recommend.

Was excited to have a nice chicken parma.
Looked like your average pub.
Went up to order and the staff were nice but a bit abrupt and didnt confirm my payment had gone through just walked away so i stood there for a bit waiting.
Then the parma came out, i asked for no ham, found bits of ham throughout, so they had obviously just taken ham off an already made parma, parma was cold and rubbery with no flavour, quite obviously was microwaved. Chips were cold. Multiple parmas on the table aswell were cold.
BF had a chicken burger, was dry n hard n cold.
All food came out way too quick which tells me it is all made prior and just heated up.
Very low quality.
Wont be going back and wont be recommending.

This place is terrible. I got there and straight away they shut the playground down. This lady yelled at all the kids to get out just because of some glass on the little slide. They couldn’t be bothered cleaning they told us. One of the ladies I think her names sue dragged a child to its parents and started yelling at him. This lady needs to be fired immediately. I cant believe the playground was shut. This was the worst experience ever for my children. The only reason we came here was for the playground that they were so excited to go in for his birthday.

this place has decent priced big servings of great prepared pub meals/restaurant quality 😇 best of all though is the big indoors kids play space with around 10 (pay for option) arcade games or a few $2 lucky random ball with a unique toy/object inside which my kid loves, but best of all is the big sized amusement kids play equipment with a slide and a walk accross net among other things for kids to climb up and play for ever, the only negative comment I have is the strenuous draining energy required to force one's child to stop playtime and come to the table as food is ready without having to offer up a whole array of promised future rewards if they cooperate 😅😅. Oh kids meals I believe come with a coupon for free ice-cream or free drink usable instantiously if you desire (which is great to bribe kid with to force them to listen for atleast a few minutes to receive this reward!!)

The service delivered by the staff was great but that was all. The food was very bad. I have had better sausages at Bunnings the lamb was very dry. Sea food platter full of chilli and not value for money. The playground has clear health and safety concerns that needs addressing. 3 out of 4 of us went and vomited after we ate.
We will not be coming back

The drink prices have gone up so many times this past year, it's ridiculous.
Love the place, but we sadly need to find a new venue. From four years ago to now the prices have gone up by over $2. I'm sorry but it all adds up, particularly when you come here regularly and buy around 8-10 drinks each per night. Unfortunately you've lost us as regular customers now. We'll prob come once in a blue moon to be honest.
Extremely disappointed.

Thanks for catering for our large work group! Always a great place to relax, celebrate, chat to friends and enjoy a meal, and its Not too noisy!! Thanks to the staff who took a group photo! And thanks to Josie who was very helpful!

Sportsbar is always a compromise with video vs audio but reasonable set up. Appreciated the attempt at lounge chairs but they were uncomfortable. Good pub food and drink prices although staff always seemed distracted. An overall relatively positive experience in the end.

Seated us earlier than our booked time. All staff were efficient and friendly. Meal was brought out quickly despite being busy. And tasted great 👍

Ordered the fish and chip and I swear that the fish was frozen fish they tasted horrible and dry plus they were very small pieces of fish. If it was fresh fish I would have got one nice big piece of fish not three little
pieces of fish and it would have been juicy like fish should be. Restaurants are always trying to skimp on quantity but expect customers to pay top price. I wouldn't have minded to pay top price if the food was good or worth the price. We also had spaghetti Bolognese well that too was horrible. More sauce than pasta. Won't be going there again.

Mothers day at the Kealba. Busy Busy!!
Never a problem this place strives on busy, super good meals, fast service and friendly.
Tom is the owner, he is blessed with staff like Jessie and EMMA who doesn't stop all night, this girl is a gun worker, relentless in work ethics and professionalism, the overall staffing is fabulous. We are regular customers and the comments reflect for everyone our visits. The seniors meals are a good size serve and all meals come hot and fast. Big play area for the kids. Seating is comfortable, not squashed in for money raising! If you don't go you miss out!!

Meals are always good ! some places can be hit or miss but we have come here 5 or 6 times fir a meal with family and friends and everyone has had a great meal. The kids area is good and the kids will spend alot of time in the playground which makes our dining experience easier because the kids are never board.

Josie provided exceptional service during my visit to Kealba Hotel. Her attention to detail, friendly demeanor, and efficiency truly enhanced my dining experience. She went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of our meal was perfect. I highly recommend Kealba Hotel, thanks to Josie's wonderful service.

I've been coming to Kealba Hotel for many many years and still love this place. The people, the food, the atmosphere, its all fantastic and to top it off a huge play area for kids of all ages. All the staff go above and beyond to help you with anything you need. I enjoy having a chat with Josie or having a laugh with Emma. They are all fantastic. The food is amazing and large and if I can't finish my meal I can take it home in a container. When I ask the kids where do you want to eat out, they always say Kealba... Two thumbs up

It was terrible, hadn’t been there for a few years went because it was central meeting spot between us and our friends. There a very intoxicated lady walking around approaching our table, rolling on the floor. She stopped our waitress as she was bringing food out, spoke over our food. Waitress didn’t seem bothered. We eventually asked a waitress to get security when the humour of this grown women crawling on the floor became ridiculous. Security came and moved her to the gaming area. Gross, disgusting, get a grip of your patrons, never again!

I organised a Mothers Day Brunch with Josie the Hotels hostess for our group known as the
Multicultural Association of Community Empowerment MACE,
The food was delicious and plentiful and the service was first class.
If you are looking for a Family Friendly experience talk to Josie, nothing is too much trouble for her.

I just want to give a special mention to Josie in the bistro at the Kealba Hotel. Josie and her team are so friendly and accommodating, the customer service is A+++. Had Mother’s Day dinner here tonight and the food was delicious and great portion sizes. Also has a great children’s playground. Highly recommend x

I had a horrible time here tonight. I came with my husband and my young girl they were very excited to go in the playground. When we got there the playground was shut and the staff did nothing to help us. This one staff sue grabbed a young boy and started dragging him. I rate this 0 stars I’m never coming here again

I arrived @ 8.20pm, to find the bistro door closed. Are you running a customer focussed business, or a challenging fortress, with the priority job creation scheme for security staff &/or staff that want to pack up early & go home early?
Only way in was via the Sports Bar. Forget it.
I & my friends will take our custom & $ elsewhere,

Attended this venue today for Mother's Day lunch. Food was excellent and came to the table quickly. The bistro manager Josie was amazing, very polite and helpful she made my mothers day special.

Have been coming here for many years as it is a central location for all family members.
In the last couple of years it has gone downhill.
It’s now a place to avoid. The food is poor, possibly re cooked from the days before.
Understaffed, & the staff who are there are overworked & cranky. Families go there for the kid’s playground which is a 50-50 chance of being closed as the don’t have staff to clean it.

Fantastic local pub for our family, large dining area, great customer service and kids playground. The food is good, can’t go wrong with a Parma or steak here. Our go to for family outings!!

Fantastic food and its very well priced. The play area is great for the kids. Will definitely go back.
But the coffee was terrible. I wouldn't recommend the coffee.

Came for my daughters 1st birthday with approx 50 guests. The staff were friendly, attentive, organised and went above and beyond from the get go. The food was fresh and delicious and more than enough to serve us all. Staff provided packaging to take the rest home so there was no wastage. The play area for the kids is one of the best I have been to, also incorporating seating inside for parents (simple but genius). Guests all had a wonderful time and also complemented all staff that attended to the party with various requests we had. The kids planet birthday was fuss free and a relief for our busy working family , so I would highly recommend and definitely be back. Thank you staff for a wonderful afternoon and I truely appreciate your kindness and flexibility
