Whatever interior designer they hired here has absolutely ruined the place . It's personal preference obviously but the low ceilings , the dark rooms , the taps so close to the sink , no windows .... no sports bar. Trying to recreate a Vegas scenario. It's been ruined from a good place to go for a drink and a feed .

We would like to say a massive thanks to all of the staff at Kedron Wavell for our daughter Allie and Sams wedding last Friday night. The reception room was decorated beautifully and the food was yummy, your biggest asset is your friendly and caring staff we couldn’t have wished for a better venue

Went here with a group of 18pax and 6 of the meals went back. To the credit of the staff that refunded the meals. Price was abit on the high side, drinks price was ok. The surroundings were very nice. Staff were awesome

We had a huge party of 27 meet here for a luncheon. We all felt jammed into the space with no room at all to move. The three tables behind us all had reserved on them. However, we just could not be left this way. After seeing our dilemma, the staff did arrange for us to take one of the 6 place reserved tables.
All our food arrived at quite a good pace for this size party of people.
I selected the Asian herb salad. While all the ingredients were fresh, the taste was very bland, and the rice noodles well over cooked falling apart into small pices a dpoon woukd be needed to get them to my mouth. I picked Asian inspired cuisine because of the wonderful intense flavours that lacked in my bowl.. Where was the dressing? I did get the grilled prawns as an extra. They were flavourful, and I left hungry, sadly.
The toilets are another area I struggled with. We used the amenities closest to the exit doors. Perhaps there was another one better suited to the disabled persons. The only Ambulant toilet was very busy with no room to pass anyone coming out of the regular ones. I felt uncomfortable.

The club is slowly getting better since the renovations took place. The floor plan is still odd though and there's no inviting flow through the areas. Dinner at the restaurant was acceptable but slightly pricier than other equivalent clubs.

Steak was cooked well, but the roast veggies were giant microwaved chunks of zucchini and beans, and the pepper sauce was awful with a weird taste. My daughter was sick from her Turkish roll later that night. Overall I was very disappointed with the meal. I’ve never written a bad review. Feel bad doing it, but there was something very wrong going on in that kitchen.

RUDE STAFF!!!
Attended a concert last Friday night which included some nibblies and finger food in the ticket price. Our evening was ruined by one of the wait staff who just started clearing our plates, not even asking if we were done eating. We still had a full platter of sausage rolls, party pies, samosas, etc. and she just came around and picked up our plates without even checking with us if we were finished with our meal, audaciously saying: "I'm gonna start packing up the food." When we requested for some take away containers, she smugly looked at us and said "No". If only I could you give ZERO stars here I would. Shame on you woman! You obviously hate your job!

Ordered garlic prawns and salad. Absolutely disappointed with the salad. For the cost would have expected better. Became member but doubt that it was a good idea

Nothing like I remember as a kid! This place is a big, flash, and thoroughly modern facility with pokies, restaurants, conference rooms, and even a coffee caravan out front. Parking is plentiful. Facilities are fresh and new and staff are lovely.

My wife and I are members and frequently have our lunch at Kedron on a Saturday, we have always been happy with the meals until yesterday.
My wife's sweet and sour fish was nothing more than pieces of the fish normally served as fish and chips with some sauce poured over them.
My Souvlaki was very dry, over cooked ,and incredibly salty.
As we mentioned to the gentleman who enquired what we thought of the new menu, we only ate it because we were very hungry!

Met some friends here for dinner. Staff were great and very helpful and friendly. Joined up for minimal fee which provided us discounts on our drinks and meals. The meals were nice. It was very busy which is good but we tried to find a quiet place to chat after dinner but could not find a place. There were a couple of different events and it might have been because of this. We will go again.

Meal was beautiful I forgot about pics.. only managed to get one. A bit late .. food was amazing . We had corned beef, prawns and tasty chips 🍟

Loved this club, friendly staff, meals were great. Haven't been to a show yet, but it's definitely on the to-do list

Living across the road from this club, we enjoy easy access to its restaurant. The varied menu choices include the roast of the day, pizzas, fish and mashed potatoes, and seafood baskets. The meals, in my opinion, are generally very good. Occasionally, they haven't measured up. The restaurant facilitates wheelchairs, even mobility scooters with comfort and ease. Most staff members are on the mature side. They appear to enjoy their jobs and are helpful and polite. You don't need to make a reservation, but it's advisable if you have a large party. One of the best features about eating here is that it doesn't matter what time I want to eat. If I want to have my lunch at 3.00pm, I can, and i can take leftovers home. What more can you ask for? Polite staff, good food, great parking, great fun!

It's was okay but roast lamb was tough, had trouble even cutting it. My 94 year old mother couldn't eat it and I took her to Kedron Wavell to celebrate her birthday.

I regret to say that my recent dining experiences at Kedron-Wavell have been extremely disappointing. Once known for its great food, the meals have significantly gone downhill while the prices continue to rise.
Last week, I ordered the Chicken Maryland, which was undercooked and raw. After sending it back, I was dismayed to receive the same piece, now microwaved to death.
Last night was even worse. I ordered the Red Emperor with chips and salad, and another meal of meatballs with mash and steamed vegetables.
The fish was unmistakably not fresh, likely straight from a frozen Birdseye box. The meatballs were so finely blitzed it felt like eating meat powder. The mashed potatoes tasted like reconstituted powdered mash, and the vegetables included old, brown zucchini.
Considering the stark decline in quality, I must rethink dining here again. Kedron-Wavell used to offer great food, but sadly, that’s no longer the case.

I had lunch there today with a few friends, and I ordered the Asian salad adding the calamari. The calamari was ok, but the Asian salad was of an extremely low standard. It did not taste anything like an Asian salad, and the variety and quantity of the ingredients was poor..I'm not sure what was in the dressing?? It is so simple to make a good Asian salad and tasty dressing!! I was so disappointed. Two out of three of my friends were also quite dissatisfied with their meals. I ate most of my lunch as I hadn't had breakfast and I was quite hungry. Unfortunately, I'm not too keen to return. It seems quite popular for meals, I'm surprised.

I dined here with a group of 25, a couple of weeks ago on a Thursday night, and from the first few minutes we were made to feel unwelcome by the staff. As a group that dines out once every week, we like to share the love where we are welcomed. First, we were asked to move on from the bar tables near the bar where we were buying drinks before our event. Then, I personally couldn't find a menu to order, so stood by an empty table to read one before ordering. I was not so pleasantly asked to leave, as someone would be sitting there soon. I took a step back to continue reading, and the same staff member circled back to tell me to just take the menu and go. The place was not very busy, but we weren't allowed to move inside so that walk ins could sit. Our booking was for 8pm, and I applaude the kitchen staff for getting so many meals out in a very timely manner. Unfortunately, as our meals were still being delivered at about 8.16, we were told that the we'd have to vacate the area at 9pm. Five minutes later an intercom announced that out area would be closing at 8.45pm. Overall, we felt unwelcome at every turn. This seems to be a floor staff issue. Our meals were lovely and, as I said, they came out in good time and we all ate together thanks to the kitchen staff.

I attended a fundraising function in the Kitty Hawk Room. The room was very well maintained and setup for the event. The serving staff were very efficient and attentive. Though bar staff, while also efficient, were a little bit indifferent. Bathrooms are very clean. Ample parking.
The finger food platter was a bit lackluster, unfortunately, though this could have been due to the options chosen by the event organisers. My only recommendation would be for the event organisers to pay a bit more attention to the food. Modern expectations far exceed the out-of-a-packet deep-fried options that were standard fare 20 years ago.
Beverage options were fairly good, but more visible lists of what was available were needed. It's very difficult to see what is on offer in the fridges behind the bar.
All that being said, Kedron-Wavell is a great venue, and I would recommend it.

Hello Nadia (Marketing) and Lauren (Concierge) - both are wonderfully helpful. Great customer service - I watched Lauren and her colleague help everyone who walked in - so friendly and genuine.... Kedron Wavell are fantastic support to local schools - and we are very appreciative! Kedron SHS Mum

Had our mother wake there,food was great great staff. My father worked there fir 20 years.great place to go too. Would recommend it for yr functions

Great looking venue with friendly staff. Some of the staff need more support through training or supervision as they seemed quite inexperienced. The function rooms are good, and plenty of room, though the staff dresscode was quite casual, and some of the bars are set up very inefficiently; it's very difficult to see what they have on offer, or for the staff to access their stock!

Food and service was very good. Music and dancing as well on a Wednesday too. Was a really nice way to spend a few hours, even on my own too 😊

Food a bit more expensive than most clubs we visit. Chips were cold and salad small and mushy. Fish was good and my partner’s bangers and mash was very good. Drinks were cheap.

First time there. Ambiance in the inner dining room a bit sterile but outer restaurant/room looked much nicer.
Food sadly was a bit ordinary. Just not matching expectations set up by the prices.
Fisherman's basket way too oily. Chips good.
Caesar salad was unbalanced regarding ingredients. Chicken was rather dry and fairly tasteless, like the chook had been prepared some hours earlier. Kinda like Coles shredded deli chicken.
Place was packed and popular but I wouldn't be back.
Felt like there was no pride in the food output. Need a new chef.

Come here for monthly events. Always clean and tidy. Really nice food and staff are attentive. Great venue for small and large events!

A group of 5 of us have just had lunch at the Kedron Wavell RSL as we do quite often and greeted by the always friendly staff.
Ordered our very tasty meal which we all enjoyed and ordered our 2 bottles of white wine which we enjoyed also. Unfortunately, we did not finish our 2nd bottle of wine and walked out with it. ...until we were stopped at rhe door by a very rude, aggressive staff member who demanded I either drink the remainder on the premises or leave it behind ....even though I had paid for it. I stated we had taken home wine left over before but she stated that has never been the case. Unfortunately, she has lost us forever coming back to the Kedron Wavell.

A good parking area and welcoming entrance . For an rsl the menu was a bit pricey with no seniors meals but the vegetables were cooked well. Some nice deserts .
