We went to the Keilor Pub on Sunday. The bistro has a nice and cozy fireplace, but we couldn’t get a table nearby. Instead, we were offered with candle and flowers on the table, which was very lovely. The waitress (long black hair name Sara) was very friendly and the service was very fast. The food was delicious and portion is hugeee.

We went there for lunch last Sunday.
We both ordered the Seniors chicken parmigiana with chips and salad and the apple and rhubarb crumble.
The meal was huge , lovely hot crisp chips , nice salad and tasty chicken.
The only let down was the sauce on the desert - not sure if it was strawberry but we didn’t enjoy it.
We had lunch here today - lovely ! Will definitely go back.

We stopped in at the Keilor Hotel to catch the last quarter of the Collingwood vs North Melbourne game, and what an exciting finish it was! The Pies clinched victory by just one point in the last seconds. The atmosphere was electric, and the sense of camaraderie among patrons was fantastic.
After the game, we headed to the bistro where we enjoyed a couple of drinks and a delicious meal in front of a cozy open fireplace. It was the perfect way to spend a few hours on a cold winter's day. The warmth of the fire, the friendly staff, and the historical charm of the hotel made for an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend this gem of a pub for anyone looking for great food, drinks, and a welcoming atmosphere.

We had our wedding at the Keilor Hotel and it was spectacular! We had our ceremony at the end of the walkway in front of the fountain and our reception in the marquee. Craig, Michelle, Nacho and the whole team were fantastic, accommodated our needs perfectly, and made the whole day run so smoothly, I highly recommend for your future functions.

This place has been inconsistent over the years and its hit and miss menu and food has made me not want to go back ever again. Overrated and overpriced pub food.

This place has a really cool atmosphere when you walk in. The food is really nice service is great, but I'm so sad that my pasta was broken and was therefor half the size and impossible to twirl! Don't break an italians pasta, not cool!

The food was delicious and the sizes were generous. The place has an old fashion atmosphere and decor. Gluten free options were available on the menu.

Service was nice but unfortunately the food wasn't. I had the mussels. They were very expensive, there weren't a lot of them and they were served with 3 very thin, very small, and very burnt pieces of bread. We were there for a birthday and I didn't want to make a scene or ruin the event for the other people in my group, but I wouldn't come back here

Nice place to catch up with friends. The function we attended included drnks and finger food . Some of the food served included, mini burgers, fried calamari, chicken and beef on skewer, mini pies, meatballs, fruit, mini cakes and more. Nice atmosphere. The food was fine except for the "chewy" beef. Parking available but can get very busy. Not a problem for patrons with mobility issues.

My wife's salmon was well cooked with nice crispy skin. My scotch fillet steak was ok but only about 1 cm thick. Not what I was expecting for near $50. Overpriced for pub meals.

Massive meal schnitzel. Loved the mushroom sauce. First time here and I lived in the 1980s in Keilor. Will make it our local pub. My son loved the keilor hotel burger. Friendly staff.

Like the staff the parma was very disappointing.
Sticky tables, dirty menus and no bar service, you know you are in a pub.
Went into pokies room later received the worst service. Ambience was like someone died. Asked for a reserve board and tall blonde woman looked annoyed with my request, she handed me the sign didn't even look or speak. Staff clearly did not want to be there.
Not one to usually complain but here are some tips for improvement!
* Clean and then clean again
* Train your hospitality staff to be happy or get new staff
* Talk & engage with your customers - remember you are in a service industry

Just had a lovely meal. The website doesnt give it justice. We arrived in the area quite late and didnt want to get in the car again after a 6 hour drive. Walked across the road and into a beautifully turned out bistro with old bluestone, an artistically, mirrored well stocked bar, lovely attentive staff and good diversive menu. Seniors rates as well. Great venue with varied areas such as a relaxing sitting area and old paraphenalia such as an old coach displayed. Would come back any time. If travelling through the area make a detour to this destination. You will not be disappointed. Probably returning tomorrow night before our journey back to East Gippsland. Thank you.

I organised a birthday for my boy friend and everything went to plan. The food was amazing and the service excellent. Couldn't have asked for more and can't thank the team that was on enough.

I’m not sure where to start with this place, it’s outstanding bar,setting,staff,looks & food.
Me and my girlfriend were severed by a very nice guy who was very quick to order,suggest & bring our food out. The food it’s self was great, with a nice thick and juicy Parma accompanied by nice fresh ham, very well seasoned sauce, with nice thick cut chips and a overall good salad. The only thing that I could genuinely say that was wrong with the entire experience with the gravy could of been thicker but that just personal preference. This was a 10/10, will be going back again.

I am not commenting on the pub itself. I went to a function recently with a large group and the room could have easily accommodated twice our number.
I think we got a very good deal. For $50 per head, we received beer/wine/soft drink/coffee for a few hours with plenty of food.
I also attended a car show in the grounds a few years ago and everything appeared to run smoothly.
Definitely recommend it.

Had the fish and chips today it was horrible , the fish was floury to taste , thought it was me but the guy opposite me had the same dish and he didn’t eat it as well for the same reason.
Bitterly disappointed .
The waiter practically threw the dish on the table , he obviously wasn’t having a good day..
This place is my local looks like will have to go up the road from now on.

Fried calamari entree was really nice. Open souvlaki was good, but could've used a bit more meat in it. Some pieces were really juicy but others were a bit dry.
Tiramisu dessert was tasty but not the best.
Service was fantastic and atmosphere was great with the big fireplace keeping my back nice and warm.

First time there, will return for sure.
Great steak, cooked the way I wanted, fair price for that quality. Very Nice atmosphere and staff was excellent.

First off, I walked into the place and the atmosphere was off. People falling off their chairs and bugs scattered everywhere. I recommend keeping the place cleaner than keeping it in this disgusting state. will NOT be coming back here!

Came to Keilor Hotel bistro for my mother's birthday. The food was absolutely horrid. We ordered a stir fry for my mother which was totally saturated in oil. My wife ordered a snitzel and it was deep fried and dripping with oil. Couldnt even ear it because it tasted like cardboard.
Complained at the counter only for them to refund one of the meals. Definately won't come back!!

Came here for my aunt's 101st birthday. But they wouldn't allow the seniors menu Because it was a Saturday.Also no split bill. It's not a restaurant it's a hotel so you should be able to pay separately. Atmosphere too dark. Should be able to pay for drinks at the bar instead of having them added to tab.
Food was good.

A lovely place to play pokies machines and a play centre for the kids.

Absolute best pub food in Melbourne! Fast service with friendly customer service! You won’t be disappointed! Highly recommend pie of the day!
