While the Corner Bar might seem a bit noisy at times, the food is good and a great value for money. Great wine list and friendly service is a huge bonus. Kids friendly, too!

We went for lunch & the food was ok - partners burger was overcooked (bordering on burnt). The waiting staff were run off their feet - I think they were short staffed for this time of the year. Don't think we will return for a meal again.

Very impressed with our meals. Very fresh and great quantity for the price, the quality is definitely there and the staff were lovely. Happy to pay a little extra for a meal that is prepared with care and that delivers such great flavours. Will definitely be returning

Stale buns on both burgers...and chicken in Burger was inedible. Reported to staff who kindly took meal away for kitchen to assess and were told the chicken was over seasoned. No further mention of the stale burger buns.

Sick of all the drunks trying to tbone my car as they drink drive out of your car park. You should be ashamed. You make the world a worse place.

Service staff need to lift their game as they are obviously untrained. The waiter who served us was rather abrupt and discourteous. However the food more than compensated for the shortcomings of the dining room staff.

Really good meal that was out to us in record time. Lovely staff. Happy to have this as a local pub.

One of the best pubs in Adelaide. Still has some nostalgia but still modern enough.

No need to address too much more about this lovely local pub. You come, you drink, you eat and enjoy.

I had an exceptional experience at the Kensington Hotel on Christmas Day. The customer service was truly outstanding. Despite the challenges of the day, the staff went above and beyond, showing genuine care and kindness. They even prepared a thoughtful takeaway container for my parents, who were dealing with Covid. Their compassion and attention to detail made our Christmas memorable. Kudos to the incredible team at the Kensington Hotel! Highly recommend for their exceptional service.

Huge thanks to Tory and the team for our celebration dinner last weekend - we really enjoyed getting together in the private room at the Kensi Hotel and were beautifully looked after in every way. The food was delicious, the service was amazing and we are really grateful.

Food was quite nice and service was very good. Big portion sizes. Only issue was found it a little noisy but that was more due to its popularity and a few loud characters. Overall pretty good...id visit again

Extensive Menu choices at reasonable prices . Staff attended to our group of 3 promptly .Food was of generous serving and tasty.I would have rated service higher if not for the surly young man who was serving Our bottle of champagne was plonked on our table .He should have poured to our glasses but just walked away .My friends were served by him on a recent visit there and his unsmiling manner was evident then ....Someone needs to talk to him about friendly customer service ....his approach was big negative for me.

Even though the hotel was booked out for meals we managed to get a table at the bar area. Service was good and friendly. Menu good with not overly catering. Price good. $60 for both meals which were tasty and eye pleasing. Friendly staff. Good atmosphere

Dropped in Sunday afternoon for lunch. Two adults & two kids. We grabbed a booth. They were really great in bringing out the kids meals ASAP (they were fidgety and hungry). They took our order and the drinks arrived quickly. Unfortunately we had to keep chasing up subsequent drink orders. The double cheeseburger was nice. It came with chips but no salad or vegetables. Patties a little over cooked. The schnitzel was good size and as is usually expected for pub grub. It was cozy inside and we would definitely return.

Cosy dining room plus the corner bar serving traditional pub grub. Had a chicken breast and the pork chop. Big serves! Great wine list something for everyone and some that would be hard to find elsewhere. Service was spot on, not just us, as the dining room filled up on a Tuesday night.

Carpeted floors! You are able actually chat with friends without shouting to get above the background while enjoying a fine wine and meal. How totally enjoyable!

Can't do much better than this: great seating, good noise levels, large and unique servings, restaraunt sections too, just be ready to wait a bit for food

Came here for a family gathering and dinner. Whilst we had a 6pm reservation, the restraint filled quickly and went from quiet to noisey, which was surprising given the number of soft furnishings. This can make it difficult to hear those a couple of seats from you. We opted for still water, but despite being filtered, it tasted chlorinated. The waiter was happy to replace this with another. Many of us had the Lamb Rump, whilst others Duck, or items from the kids' menu. We chose a bottle of the Fiano white wine, which was crisp and refreshing. For desert, I had the Berry and Rosemary Cheese Cake, and a cappuccino. Both of which were delightful.

As an infrequent patron of hotel bars, I mused at the stridently Ocker culture I found at the Kensi. Nothing wrong about that, but with only one bar to choose from, it struck me as a trade limiter. On my recent solo visit, with some hours to fill between appointments, I was probably hoping for a more congenial setting to wile away the hours. Given the location of the Kensi, I thought it might cater to a broader, multi-cultural, and gender diverse clientele. From the fracas at the crowded bar, I found myself in an all-male environment, possibly a mix of middle-aged tradies and middle management. With bar stools elbow to elbow around an L-shaped bar, there was no bench space from which to order a drink. And no corner tables to retreat to, other than punter's corner surrounded by screens. Like many Adelaide hotels, the floorplan of the Kensi, with generous space for machines, leaves little room for a variety of bars that might cater for a broader range of patrons. Arriving at 4, and planning to stay until 7, I was dismayed to find the dining room closed until 6. The food I ordered was well done, the waiting staff friendly, the wine list excellent. But meals, to my mind, were overpriced, which may account for a predominance of empty tables. All this confirming what I recollect from my last visit (6 years ago), of a dining room of dignity and class, but not a place to bring the kids. Semi-opulent, competently modernised long ago, but lacking the stylish edge of excitement I look for in a welcoming, contemporary venue. On the strength of my visit, not a place I would choose to return to unless, as on this occasion, I have limited alternatives.

Always great food and service. Have visited a number of times including Christmas Day and the food has always been of a high standard. Can recommend for a great meal.
