We ate there today and the food was amazing! I'm had the fish with coconut sauce, husband had the steak and the prawns. Perfectly cooked and well presented. Well done to the chef.

Way over priced for pub accommodation. Communal bathroom was very old fashioned. Worst was no AC, so not good in hot weather. Climb two sets of steep staircases. No TV that you'd at least expect for the money. The bed must have had the legs cut off and was like sleeping on the floor.

Was charged $9.80 for a schooner of James Squire lashes. I only had one and walked out. Won't be coming back. What a rip off

WARNING DONT EAT HERE! RUDE! RUDE! RUDE! Being served here I had to think twice as I thought I walked into a Karen's restaurant with the amout of hostility and distain coming from the staff especially 1 female staff member. Food was cold and not eatable. When informing staff I was spoken to with venom and asked "what now", then told I would get a refund and ordered to present my card asked "how do I expect to get a refund if I didn't have my card". This was without asking how I paid. The toilets were dirty with no locks on doors and no toilet paper. Did I mention that the place was not that busy. If anyone can get a hold of Gordon Ramsay please ask him to pay these guys a visit.

Took an hour to receive food, which amounted to dry nachos with some cheese, overdone beef and a dollop of sour cream - no salsa as advertised on the menu and, though thankfully I was told this before I ordered, no guac was available on the day either, saving me the extra $4 it would have cost. Food wasnt worth the wait, staff were friendly and apologetic about another member of the party receiving the sauce for their food a solid 20 minutes after receiving the rest of their plate. Not worth it for the food, but probably fine for drinks.

The steak was disgusting! And you could taste that it had been in a dirty freezer for 3 months, Ewwwww! also the over weight lady at the bar is very rude and lazy no wonder the place is empty on a Saturday night lol 0 stars from me, never again yuck!

The service here is amongst the worst i have ever experienced. Patrons are spoken to with hostility and that was before we had a issue with the food. When clearing our table a female staff member smashed glasses on our table that went on and in one of our parties jacket. There was no apology and the clearing of the glass was haphazard leaving glass everywhere. It was not very busy but all staff appeared to be very stressed and unfriendly. I ordered a nachos and it was stone cold with the cheese not melted. I took it back and when returned to me the cheese and sour cream were not melted. The nachos was still cold. When pointing this out i was spoken to horribly. Dont eat here.

The ladies from Tuesda y Bulli tennis group had a nice walk from Minnamurra to Kiama today and had lunch at the Kiama Inn. The staff were very friendly and efficient and the food was excellent and reasonably priced. Well worth a visit.

The food was actually decent, salad served with meal was fresh and had a really nice light dressing. Fish and chips were fresh and tasty. I've given 3 stars because we just ordered garlic bread and fish and chips - it took 47 minutes for the buzzer to go off and when I went to the counter they only had cheesy garlic bread ready which we didn't even order, we ordered the normal garlic bread. 47 minutes for the wrong garlic bread was a bit disappointing and then it took another 12 minutes for the fish and chips, that's 59 minutes total. People that had come 20 minutes after us got their food before us and they all had big meals. I understand mistakes happen. Just giving some feedback on wait times especially when it wasn't that busy.

The food alone is worth 5 stars. The carpet smells a bit, so sit outside and enjoy the sun. The steak sandwich is a ridiculously good 2 level 2 steak behemoth. The Chicken Kiev is the best I've ever had and no ordinary Kiev wrapped in prosciutto. The food is world class and presented as such too. The staff are very friendly and aim to please. Definitely be back again this trip.

My wife and I had dinner at the Kiama Inn Hotel on Tuesday September 13, 2022 and it was an absolutely brilliant meal. My wife had the chicken schnitzel and I had the lamb shanks. Both of these meals were cooked to perfection and the staff at the bar were good people. I highly recommend this establishment!

I ordered the nachos with pork. They were on the menu as a starter, though I think this could easily be served as a main. The nachos were flooded with an almost rubbery cheese sauce, making the chips soggy, and the pork was oddly sweet. My sister got the summer salad, which also had an abundance of sauce. She did get it without feta and onion, so this may have affected it, though she was disappointed nonetheless. Atmosphere was dodgy, I think it just needs some music to make it feel more welcoming, especially given it’s a bistro/bar, a bar atmosphere wasn’t really there.

I have eaten at the Kiama inn numerous times over the last month and have always had a great meal every time and found the staff very friendly, I would strongly recommend this venue and will continue my patronage there happily.

If you’re looking for a good quality bistro meal then you can’t go past the Kiama Inn. After going to many other bistros in the Kiama area only to be served lack lustre food, it was a pleasant surprise to be served food that was quite good. The kids cleaned their plates and the bar staff gave them little collector cups for their drinks which they thought were the most amazing things ever. This is the only bistro in the area I will return to. The atmosphere is lacking but the food is what we were there for and it didn’t fail on that point.

I didn't stay here but did eat here. Food was really good. They had a few decent vegetarian options. Food wasn't particularly expensive and drinks were reasonably priced. Staff were fantastic. The restaurant was nice and clean. Seemed okay for kids. Plenty of outdoor seating.

I did not stay here however I’ve eaten here multiple times. The meals were a good size and worth the price. I was a bit disappointed that my schnitzel was a pink colour, although was still edible. The bar staff were lovely and I love the choice in drinks. Great atmosphere.

Had a family lunch. Every meal was a winner. We shared and tasted each other’s meals and they were all good. Service was fast and friendly as well. Made the trip down there worth the drive.

Friend and I had the express lunch deal.$18 each. Her spaghetti was delicious and I had the pot pie with mash and lots of fresh veggies. Great sized meals and both cooked well. Wines were very reasonably priced. Staff were very good and friendly. Great value.

Food was decent- satisfied the pub food cravings. Customer service was terrible- not at all friendly or welcoming. My partner and I felt quite out of place and uncomfortable. Wouldn’t return.

Don't be deterred by the Aussie Pub layout when considering the bistro here. We had both a steak and Barramundi fillet main meal and immediately new we had struck gold in a town we had just arrived . Well done chef .... your " pub " food is far above the normal.

Came in on a quiet Tuesday lunch time. There were 9 of us. 8 of us ordered mains and one entree. The first 3 meals came out quick and remainder was a good 45 minute wait. There was one meal that was satisfactory and that was the taco salad. All the rest was schnitzels, steaks, burgers and potato skins was poor and not too a good standard. One of us was double charged and wasn’t picked up until the extra order came to the table. Very overpriced with what you receive. A $22.00 schnitzel was expecting to be a decent size. Was an entree size at best. Also there was mould on the ceiling of the bathroom. Maybe a clean would be in order. Disappointed and would not recommend. Signed all 9 patrons.

Came here tonight for dinner. My husband and I both ordered the seafood basket. It was $28. so we knew it was not going to be big but could not believe how bad it was. I think everything was frozen. The fish tasted like mush and was the size of a fish bite, the calamari rings were tasteless and prawn cutlets were a non event. The highlight was the dressing on the mixed lettuce salad! Very nice staff but overall, this place was dreadful.

Absolutely the best pub lunch I’ve enjoyed. Barramundi and Pawns, and my wife had the Bean Nachos. Friendly staff and well priced. Definitely 5 stars.
