We recently had our wedding reception here and it was perfect!! Kylie the functions manager was a great help in organising the night and ensuring that everything ran smoothly! All of our guests commented on how delicious the food was! (We had the antipasto platter on arrival, banquet style menu for dinner and dessert table)
Overall we can not fault this venue and how well everything ran on the night!
Thank you so much to all the staff members that worked on the night too!

Went for dinner at the Sails Bistro inside. Great food at a good price. The portions are a good size for what you pay. Being a covid period, the clubs was very good with social distancing rules. Everything was easy from signing in (non memebers) to getting served quickly and the food was delivered to our table in very reasonable time. Bathroom were very clean too. We had a great experience.

Well it didn’t take long for the Bistro to revert to its usual standard. Following years of very ordinary food new caterers won an award of some sort and there seemed to be some hope. Sunday 18/2 with meals of the special pastrami burger that was dry and tasteless and a special pork pumpkin and apple pizza that was overfilled, soggy and a base that was as tough as leather. Others in our party were disappointed with the battered fish that was soggy and oily. Back to the drawing board please. 😖😖😩😩

We just had dinner at sails bistro and the food was rather disappointing. Lacked flavour and didn't seem to be matched appropriately. Staff weren't very enthusiastic to serve any of us either. Wouldn't rush back...

We had our wedding reception here a week ago. The price was very competitive and the food was amazing. Everyone was very satisfied after the 3 course meal. The space is very versatile and the staff were fantastic. Kylie was so great to work with during the planning process. She made sure the night ran smoothly so we had nothing to worry about. Highly recommend this venue.

We enjoyed a delicious meal here. Shared a mixed grill (steak, sausage, lamb cutlet, crispy pork belly, tomato, onion rings, and chips). Served 2 easily, leaving room for dessert. Every club should offer sticky date pudding like this!

We came here on a Sunday evening and the place was very busy. Got the lightly dusted squid and the Asian salad with pork belly. The dusted squid wasn't quite as expected as it was very much strips of fully battered squid also the pork in the salad was very dry and the salad didn't have quite enough sauce. Chips were great and crispy though and probably the highlight.

The weekday lunch here is brilliant. $12 special for non members. It was the best seafood basket I have had. The batter was light, cooked to perfection.
Best value for money. Great staff, very friendly. I would travel from Sydney just to have this lunch

The Jackson family would like to thank Kylie for her fantastic service in organising our function on Saturday in the conference room. Food appeared from nowhere and plates etc were constantly collected without noticing she was there. She was great.
I would recommend the club for a party to anyone.

The function room is a fantastic venue for a party. We booked it for my wife's 60th and it went off really well. The functions manager Kylie, was easy to work with and was full of good advice. On the night Kylie was on top of everything and ensured her staff were too. The room is great, more than enough room to mingle and also dance. The sound system was great and easy to connect to our playlist. The food was excellent, better than we anticipated. We had the shared platters and received lots of favourable comments about the quality and selection on the night.
This all led to a great night with zero hassles resulting in my wife and guests having a really enjoyable and fun night.

The food and service at the League was great.
We got the courtesy bus which was fantastic and free.
food was excellent, it definitely exceeded our expectations!

Steer clear of this absolute dump of an establishment.
Trapped somewhere between the 80s with its stale cigarette smell and trashy stools, and the 2000s with its rusting stainless steel trimmings the Kiama Leagues Club is in serious need of a renovation.
We went there on a rainy weekend as somewhere the kids could have a bistro style meal rather than some random take away. The take away would have been the better option. The food came out with a mixture of issues and it didn’t even come out close together. The first two that came out were both served with cold chips and one of them had a burger that was uncooked.
The next two, one was okay and the other was completely cold. I assume it had been sitting there waiting for them to bring both out at the same time as the one that was okay was still hot. I thought they had initially forgotten our orders as we sat there for over an hour waiting for them by which time the kids had lost interest and were ready to leave.
There is absolutely no reason to ever return here.

Staff were friendly but incompetent. Waited in line for 30 minutes with only 2 people in front of me. My partner and I both ordered a chicken schnitzel with a topping each. We received our meal slightly warm. My schnitzel was suppose to have creamy sauce but it was clumpy. Bacon wasn’t cooked and very oily. Chicken itself was okay but still wasn’t the best.
There was also a cockroach that ran onto our table. Wasn’t sure where it came from. Cleanliness was very low.
Side note, paid $5.40 for a can of coke 😳
Will not be returning.

Sail’s bistro inside this venue offers great value and amazing taste. We got KFC, nacho and roast of the day (pork). The port melts away. Roast veggies are soft with slight firmness. Roast pumpkin was perfectly done. Crispy charred skin with mushy and sweet inside. Staff gave recommendation on local spot to get food from and very attentive. I would eat here again!

Plenty of parking but a little walk up the hill. Clean. Super friendly staff. Meals good and well priced. Great place to sit around with friends, no pressure to move on like cafes. Will definitely be back when passing through.

Lovely staff, fast service. The food was very nice, although not presented as nicely as three weeks ago, when the roast pork melted in your mouth and several more delicious vegetables were on the plate. This time the pork consisted of uneven pieces on the plate, some stringy, some thick and fatty, covered by gravy. No love on the plate. The gelato came in their packaging of a small tub, 2 tubs for 2 flavours, not their award restaurant standard of presentation. The pavlova wasn’t as cold as previously, and there was no pomegranate sauce, which made it special last time. Tasted nice and an enjoyable family lunch was had, but hopefully back to top standard presentation and quality next time, including some apple sauce.

Just recently spoke with the operations manager and pleased with the outcome. It was understood that there is room for improvement which will be addressed to avoid further issues from occurring.

Would not recommend to drink here, I was accused of being drunk and I had one drink all night. The drink I had was when I arrived which was three hours prior. I felt discriminated against and I believe it was because my nan and I were laughing and enjoying ourselves.
It appears the bar tenders don’t know the difference between someone who is drunk and someone who is just enjoying conversation and having a laugh.
The food was really good the Friday night that we came but on Saturday we ordered pizza and it was awful. It was undercooked, tasteless and wasn’t even cut properly.
The security/reception staff were really lovely.
I genuinely don’t want to ever go back based on the experiences had.

I took my family to the Kiama Leagues Club for dinner last night.
We found the food to be excellent and the service was friendly and excellent as well.

In all fairness, I only visited for a couple of drinks. It met my needs perfectly, hence the 5 stars. I also understand that it has a good bistro that opens at 5pm.

I had my Engagement party in their function room and it was wonderful. The atmosphere was perfect as well as the tables, chairs etc. The staff was so lovely to work with and made everything so easy.

Honestly who puts that much Beetroot Relish on a burger, got the Hoff burger and it was a train wreck to eat. majority of it went to waste.. The whole lunch was a train wreck!

Haven't had such good bistro food in years! Well presented, and in much greater quantity than expected. Highly recommend the buffalo wings and crispy pork salad. Also the food came quite quickly.
The staff were very approachable, and organised a table for us given our larger headcount. Also was more than happy to supply more utensils and surviettes. Ryan gave a truly great customer service by helping us replace our less-ideal jug of lemon lime, and attending our table for cleanup.

During our little birthday getaway to Kiama, we enjoyed a Fabulous night at Kiama leagues club. The food and cocktails perfect. We were lucky enough to meet and chat with the clubs friendly manager Mel who gave us recommendations of musts to do while staying in Kiama.

Brians' 60th Birthday was an absolutely fabulous night!
You guys did an amazing job with service, food, venue. Even the courtesy bus went to my parents front door to collect dad and mum as they are elderly and made a last minute decision to come along.
We have had our wedding reception in that room, Brians 40th in the tab bar and now his 60th in the Auditorium. All great events and momentous occasions.
So many people have commented to me about the food and service, the venue and location. The banquet was superb!
Brian had a sensational time and we can’t thank you enough for being so wonderful to work with.

A nicely styled little RSL. Tried the $12 (non member) Lunch Specials... The Seafood Basket was pretty average, but the Streak & Veg Pot Pie was very tasty and a decent size. And if you're after any easy to drink bubbly... try the De Bortoli Prosecco ($34 per bottle). 😉🥂👌

7June '24 - New Restaurant downstairs - CEDAR CUTTERS SPORTS BAR. Very hip. Great spot. Excellent staff. Chips and beer great. Enormous sports screens. They do catering for any event. Bathrooms clean. Couches great. High and low tables. They have their own dedicated kitchen so no long waits for food from the upstairs kitchen. THEY ARE A CASHLESS VENUE. Go and have a great time here. Absolutely worth it.
5June '24 - get a 3 yr membership for $20 and enjoy the surrounding area. The coffee really needs some help. Very weak and warm, not hot. The tea was so weak, and they make it in your cup. Would be better if they made it in a pot so that you can get it nice and strong. I think they need a good robust coffee.
Extra friendly staff. Very cold beer. See the annual Kiama Art exhibition. Edit 18 Jan '23 - they now sell Better Beer zero carb on tap!!!!!!!!!!!!YAY
