Wow. Went not expecting much, in quality of food. Looked at menu, Was a little shocked to see prices ending in $15.86 $43.93 .. ordered. Lovely friendly customer service, food came our. Oh lord. Steak was Rump, it was more tender than a eye fillet cooked to perfection. Couldn't fault one thing on my plate. Also a butter chicken was also served up tender spot on spices. I had to go and give the chef a hand shake. Very impressed.

We were passing by and spontaneously popped in for lunch and oh my, weren’t we glad we did! Absolutely delicious roast! I’m from the UK and it was a proper English roast and was absolutely perfect! The beef was totally melt in the mouth and we will definitely be returning and we are already planning on who we are going to bring here to catch up with friends and family who would also love it! Comfortable and lovely interior and can’t wait to return in warmer months to enjoy the outside also. Thanks again Kings Creek Hotel! What a little gem you are!😊

We normally eat at another pub venue but tried the King's Creek for Saturday lunch for a change. The atmosphere is relaxed and there was plenty of room in a fairly large and well laid out dining area. I had a chicken schnitty and my wife had the roast beef. The schnitzel was good and typical of pub fare with chips and salad. I liked the salad as it was simple, fresh and the dressing was just right. My wife's roast beef was beyond exceptional. The serving of slow cooked beef was very generous and was sliced into thick pieces that were unbelievably tender. It was accompanied by roast spuds, and every conceivable veg plus a proper Yorkshire pud. The staff were very friendly, polite but not in your face and it was obvious they enjoyed working here. The entire lunch was so enjoyable that we went back for Sunday lunch again today. I had the calamari and it was the real deal, full on, proper calamari. So many pubs nowadays use the mashed and stamped calamari and it was refreshing to have it crumbed and fried like it was in the 'old days'. Today my wife had the Parma and instead of the chips she requested vegies as well as the salad. It was no problem for the kitchen and they were happy to oblige. She did her best but we had to bring some home in a doggie bag. All in all it was a lovely meal and the roasts and calamari was a standout. It was first class pub food served by lovely people in a very relaxed environment. The King's Creek will now be my 'local'

We have been blown away We used to come here quite regularly as a family for dinners and birthdays and then we stop coming just because the quality wasn't there anymore maybe change of hands or something but was nowhere near as good We saw the 50% off sign and decided to give it a shot tonight. What an absolute transformation! All the employees were fantastic and helpful, the food was fantastic and possibly the best pub meal ive ever had in my life We will be definitely back

We had a big party of 26 and all our food came out together and quickly. Service was friendly and prompt. We had a great night. Young man who severed our table was great help and very friendly. Girl at the register was also extremely nice and helpful. Meals were delicious

We came here for our mums 57th birthday dinner! The food & drinks were amazing! Jack behind the bar was nothing short of amazing and made the best espresso martini’s we’ve ever had. He was so lovely and friendly, unlike other people behind the bar… but I won’t mention names. Highly recommend this place for a few drinks and something to eat!

Very Expensive. Food quality was average for the prices. The place was empty except 2 tables on a Saturday night at 7pm. Every time the playground door opens a gust of cold wind makes everyone freeze.

This meal gets 2 stars; 1 for the cheesy garlic bread and 1 for the roast veggies. The rest was truly questionable, especially for the extortionate price of $145! We came here hoping to get a feed after a long day without eating much prior only to be let down by the less than mediocre food. The imitation "crumbed calamari" from your local freezer isle and the chips that were seemingly microwaved in the bag they came from and then chucked in an airfryer for a minute were the real low points. The gravy and roast beef had a strange bitter taste. My partners steak was well underseasoned and the sauce accompanying the steak wasn't great either. The staff were friendly, the pub looks great and I could imagine the atmosphere in there would be amazing when it's buzzing with patrons BUT I wish they served food to match.

The Menue was very boring and not alot of diffrent choices. No Seafood except for Crummed Calamari and Fish ana Chips. The wine list was very ordinary and over priced Had a specials list and they didn't have half of it. Got my order wrong. The Entree was horrible. They didn't have the one I wanted. The meal got was very substandard. I could have made it at home that would have tasted better and feed a family for what it cost. Atmosphere is dark and boring and outdated. They did give me a 50.00 voucher for my next visit because of the problems but I will never be going back so left it on the table. I recommend no one go there!!!

Paid $53 for 2 schooners, 1 heavy 1 mid and a parma! The chicken in the parma was 3mm thick and the rest all crumbs. Locals 50% off?! So people who drive a distance pay ridiculous prices for the worst parma ever? Stick your attitude Dexter up your bum!

Overpriced meals because they charge 15% surcharge for Saturday because they consider Saturday to be a public holiday every week. For a parma and a roast pork it cost $72. There is no food or bar service available in the lounge and all meals and drinks have to be ordered in the bar because they don't have any staff in the lounge so they can save money on wages. The atmosphere is good and the 2 bar staff that were working did a good job. There is a 15% surcharge on the drinks also which makes it very expensive for a couple to have tea and a couple of drinks. Seniors menu is not available on weekends which makes it even more expensive.

Last night my boyfriend and I were quite tired and hungry coming home from the city, by the time we decided to get dinner it was about 8pm and we stumbled along kings creek Hotel and decided to give it a try! We walked in and the feel of the hotel was a very quiet and country styled hotel, all staff were really friendly, especially the girl with the blue hair she was very helpful and such a lovely server! There were the perfect amount of options on the menu.. and such good milkshakes might I add! The meals came out super super fast, I’m not sure if that was because it was quiet or not! But the meals were absolutely gorgeous I ordered the calamari it tasted so good with the fresh salad and tasty tartare sauce (which tasted homemade) my boyfriend ordered the ‘smash burger’ which he definitely smashed!! It looked super delicious! The kitchen closes at 9pm which is perfect for last minute decisions. And a perfect restaurant for a family night out with a massive arcade and playground for the kids to!! We will Definitely be back!

I would love to give service and the total review 5 stars, however the fact that I not only had to get up to order, I also had to get up to find napkins and cutlery after receiving our meals was annoying. Kinda weird to not get plates with an entree either and try to not make a mess when sharing it. Lovely staff, atmosphere is great, food is lovely too - just maybe give me a knife and fork before giving me my food?

Friendly staff, we had a delicious meal of Caesar salads and coffees, the food was excellent. Very happy to go there again. Have returned to this bistro most weeks for a meal and they never fail to please. I have been twice this week and had the entree of Thai Fish Cakes with Asian salad and nim jim sauce, just terrific. Last week I had the vegetable cakes with a poached egg and salad, another truly enjoyable meal. I would like to see more of these options on the permanent menu. They are light, tasty and generous. These days I am looking for more vegetable and fish options, really good to see variations on traditional pub fare. Keep up the good work, it is a pleasure to visit your bistro. The beer garden is a treat too.

First time visiting and thought the overall prices were expensive. So I just went with the pumpkin soup which wasn’t cheap either. You can’t go wrong with soup, or so I thought! This was the worst soup I’ve ever had, it was inedible. The curry smell hit me first, it was very very thick and had so much curry powder in it, it was just a thick curry sauce, I had to leave it. I told the waitress when she cleared the table but the only reply I got was “that’s no good, would you like anything else”

Even though this place is far from the city, its definitely worth the travel. The food here is great, and there's wide variety of food choices for everyone including kids. The staffs were friendly and showed good customer service. They have playroom with slides for kids, pool tables where we usually spend most of our time there and more. They also have outdoor seating which is good if you like watching people. The space inside is huge and not crowded with chairs and tables, there's booth seating that can accommodate more than 5 customers. King's Creek is a great place for friends and family to eat, drink and relax for the weekday work. I reckon it would be good for birthday dinner especially when there's kids with you because their food is great, there's beer etc plus kids will surely enjoy the playroom. This is absolutely one of the best pubs in Melbourne so far that I've been to, they never disappointed us whenever we are there, they are consistently great with their service, and I highly recommend this place to everybody. You'll never get disappointed with their service and food. So if there's a place in the peninsula that one wants to go, King's Creek would be perfect.

Didn't know King's Creek existed prior to visiting on a warm Friday evening around 7pm It's visually impressive on the outside and has a modern look on the inside. The bistro was full and they had room for the extras in the Sports bar. We booked and this was a good decision Staff are friendly, energetic and swift. I had a tasty chook Parma. (It was a good size. Not a mutant chook covering the plate )My wife went for roast pork and crackling. This was good pub grub with some imagination - worth a visit if you are in the Tyabb/Hastings area.

Bistro was clean well set up and has its own entrance from the rear. So you don't have to go through the hotel. Plenty of parking service was very good and the food great. The Kings Parma I highly recommend and my wife loved the pasta bake. Great place to stop off

$19.50 for the kids meal. My 10 year old boy needed 2 servings as the serving sizes were more suitable for a 4-5 year old. Outrageous! Could buy a more filling and satisfying meal at the local charcoal chicken or fish n chip shop.
