We went as part of a birthday celebration. The best way to describe the place would be “rustic”. It was a shearing shed in a past life, and that is obvious. That’s not to say it wasn’t enjoyable. I would probably not dress up to go there is what I mean. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals, at a reasonable price, and a good serve. I had a pizza that hung over the edge of my dinner plate. Very spicy, the way I like it. I would recommend this place, and go again.

We had a great night at the Kinross. We are out-of-towners, so we really appreciated the unique atmosphere, the brilliant live music, thanks to Andrew Swift and his gang, as well as the security who you only noticed when they needed to be there.

Got an additional 2 stars because the food was great this time. Last time I threw most of it out.
Sunday Midday: Slow staff(but nice) obnoxious loud music outside. Not even a toilet seat in the gents toilets.

There was a group of us. Meals were good and it was easy ordering. Bar prices were a bit expensive bar staff needed to make more effort like a smile!

The food needs more flavour. The portions were big but wayyy too many chips and seafood was very deep fried, chicken schnitzel was very crunchy on the outside. Would have enjoyed more if seafood was more fresh and chicken softer. Would go again but try other dishes :)

The first time ive had the barramundi was okay, it was okay but wasn't very big on the plate. I was still hungry. Kind of small portion for the price. At least they had sticky date pudding. Second time I had vegetarian pasta, and I enjoyed it a lot. Friendly staff and good venue to watch the footy, attend live music or meat raffle.

So much better now being under new management.
Food is a lot better thanks to the new chief. Cooked to perfection.
The toilets have been renovated and look so much better even the disability toilets.
Will defiently return as it's all looking great now, beautiful environment

Recently reopened the Kinross seems to be thriving. They had a live band the night we were there called Tribehpunds. They were good. There is a bar, dining area, outdoor areas by three and an auditorium type set up. Drink prices are the average pub price. Plenty of parking. There is a kids playground. There is also the option of marquees for events which again was set up the night we were there. Customer service was good. We did not dine here so cannot comment on food. But can show the menu here.

Out of the shed car show could not have found a better place for their event. Great for the whole family. Cold drinks, great food, live music and really cool cars. Loved it.

My partner and I had our Wedding there on Friday and the staff there really went above and beyond for us! The decorations, the food, staff just everything was great! 😁 Highly recommended ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Kinross is still pretty good, it's been nearly a decade since I last ate here, unfortunately the Kinross burger is not what it used to be but, it was still very tasty.
It's still a quality restaurant, very clean, polite staff, quality food. Will definitely be coming back again.

I found the atmosphere quite relaxing and a very nice view with the sun setting. I ordered the parmi and being only 25$ with chips and salad it was filling and was a great size I eat alot so was quite happy with product and size. Drinks were expensive was the only downfall to the place

Hmm... what can I say. This is the first time I have ever had coleslaw with a few herbs and noodles called a Thai salad. Even had coleslaw dressing. On the up side the staff are way better than before. Cold beer, clean glasses.

Had a group of ladies from work have dinner & watch the recent Magic Men show. Show was lots of fun but service from Kinross staff regarding help with disabled wheel chaired people was very lacking. Show finished just after 1030 so we decided to go to the bar for a couple of drinks only to be told bar was closed, website said 3am. Felt like ok we got enough money out of you all tonight now get lost. Bar staff blamed management.

Great pub in the scrub. Lovely old woolshed, established 1890, made into a lovely sprawling hotel. Food was great, drinks were cold and 2 pet friendly eating areas. Enjoyed the atmosphere immensely.

Great meal, generous serves too! Venue is very spacious and has a nice rustic atmosphere. Staff in kitchen really nice and bar staff very friendly. We'll be back!

Great atmosphere here to match their friendly staff. The meals were all large and no complaints whatsoever.

Great atmosphere, food was delicious and great portions. Cost under $200 to feed 7 people including drinks, entree and kids meal. I highly recommend their fried chicken deals.

First visit here at Kingross Hotel. Love the venue, love the menu and drinks and the staff are lovely! Will definitely visit again next time we are in Albury.

First visit as only been here a week from the uk,was pleasantly surprised nice staff nice entertainment as a guy was outside singing and playing the guitar..had some food and was really nice 10/10 overall lovely place

Dined on the deck for lunch today. Before we ordered we had to ask for the music to be turned off. We could not talk over it. We ordered our food. My entire group described their meal as dreadful. I ordered fish and chips, worst pub meal in history. I ate most of it because I was hungry and by the look of all the other meals at our table, it was clear there was no better alternative. Just as we started to eat all our meals they decided to whipper snip and mow all the grounds right next to the lunchtime deck. Could not use the loo as they were shut “at lunchtime” for cleaning. !!!!

Came here for dinner with my family and the food was pretty standard. The dining experience was embarrassing. We came in when there was next to no one, and as we had ordered our food, a group of people of about 20 odd had walked in and ordered their food not long after we did. After roughly 30 minutes had passed, the group of people that walked in after we did had all got their food before us. I witnessed the staff looking at dockets and looking back and forth at our table saying things like "did you get that docket" etc. so obviously it had been missed or something along those lines, which would've been fine, however not once did anyone come over and apologise or anything. Then after almost an hour, we finally got our food, and still not any acknowledgement about the wait OR about the table (who ordered after us) getting their food before us, not a "sorry about the wait" no nothing. As well as that, just as a side note, I ordered mash and gravy as my sides to my burger, but the gravy was put straight on top of the mash rather than seperate, which I did not ask for. I didn't personally mind, but too bad if I didn't want my gravy and mash mixed together! The lack of acknowledgement about whatever had happened behind the bar was frustrating and quite rude.

Always delicious food, friendly service and a casual atmosphere. Fettuccini carbonara with chicken was delicious and the scotch fillet with gravy, chips and lovely dressed salad was also amazing! And of course, you got to have the cheese garlic bread. Yum!! Five stars and highly recommend. We'll be back again very soon! Thank you to the wonderful team for having us. Keep up the great work! 😁
