We were extremely disappointed with the food, it was dreadful, I had asian salad that was inedible, no dressing, hard noodles ( actually it was all noodles and not much else) and tasteless, our guests had rissoles, they didn't eat hardly any of it and my husband had pasta which also was not good. As our visitors were paying we didn't want to make a fuss but we live 200 meters from this place and unfortunately we won't be back. We were looking forward to it becoming our local after re opening.

Went with family for a special occasion, have already put in a complaint about a staff member. The prawn fettuccine was the only nice dish out of an order of 4. Location is the only good part. They need to improve on staff and hospitality, this was the 2nd visit and we won't be returning.

Went with a group of 14, for dinner, the food was great, reasonably priced, steaks were cooked to perfection as ordered, meals were delivered promptly and almost together, for such a large group that is a feat. The service was great!! Thank you, we will be back. 😊

Very wary after reading the reviews of others but we had a group of 14 and were seated in a corner together. We all ordered separately and the meals all came out one after the other in record time of 10 minutes. We received beautiful meals and friendly service during our attendance in the downstairs restaurant.

Pork belly main was delicious... I'm surprised there wasn't a carb element to the dish, like rice for example... But didn't bother me today. Pork was cooked perfectly and came with lots of veges. Family enjoyed their burgers and schnittys too

Over priced, one staff on the till taking food orders creating a huge line. For the price of the food you would at least expect better service. I honestly wouldn't waste your time here as you're only paying for the view.

Our first dining experience since the new hotel opened was a mixed bag. Our friend had the Souvlaki which looked & tasted amazing but my husband ordered the Chicken Snitzel & couldn’t eat it. I had the Chicken burger & it was ok.
When the waitress cleared our plates, because there was basically a whole snitzel left, we told her it didn’t taste right. We thought someone might come & speak to us about it but nothing was said. That was a bit disappointing. If we return we would have the Souvlaki.

On the 7th of July, Approximately 1:30pm This beautiful, voluptuous cheese burger got sat down at my table. I look down to take my fourth bite in ( approximately half the burger ) and I see a green little grasshopper jumping around the lettuce. I open my burger to the sight of over 10 little bugs struggling to stay alive, I take the lettuce off for a proper examination and I find my little friends struggling to escape out of the cheese. I look even further and my little friends are burrowed in this scrumptious sauce. I look to my friend that’s also eating a cheeseburger, her facial expressions I will never forget she is shocked…. We get our cheese burgers replaced only to be even more disappointed as I am examining the lettuce AGAIN only to be surprised to see our little green friends AGAIN. I start chomping on the burger anyway and ONLY TO FIND the first burger patty is connected to the new burger patty with a phat piece of melted cheese. The new burger patty was RAW (kinda liked it) the old burger patty was burnt To a crisp. When I close my eyes I can still see my little friends struggling to survive but hey EXTRA PROTEIN.

No beach views unless you go upstairs.
Rude and arrogant staff.
Tacos are ok.
Oh and if you smoke, there’s a nice little concrete dog box for you.

Lunch very disappointing. Had the Asian rice noodle salad. Noodles were hard as if not cooked. Could barely taste any dressing, 4 cherry tomatoes, a few cucumber slices and that's about it.

Lunch for 2 people.
One order came out quickly the other about 15mins later - questioned the waitress who explained one was an entre so it comes out before the other dish which was a main, the order taker should have asked if we wanted them separately or together. Not enough training there clearly.
The $25 Schnitzel is possibly the worst I’ve ever had. The chicken was tough and the bread crumb had a slimy finish on the inside like it hadn’t been cooked through. The salad was dry and lacked dressing.
The tacos were excellent though.
Will head over the road to the surf club from now on - service and food is way better.

I took the wife and kids there during the week for dinner to try it out being brand new. The staff were pretty friendly and helpful. The menu needs some work though. The basics are what you would expect but once again the kids meals are cheap and nasty same as every other tavern/bistro around. As far as general expectations go, all round it was above average and a good place to have a beer and steak with mates. Not really a place to take the wife and kids. The chips are very good I will note. Don’t bother with the salads.

I had dinner at Kirra Beach Hotel Mother’s Đây. I had the special Barramundi which was delicious. That is far as it would go. There was a bowl of green with so much vinegar dressing I could not eat it. Sweet potato was in about 1.5cm pieces and 1 cherry tomato totally drowned with salad green in vinegar. Very disappointed. I got another plate and put the barramundi on its own and it was excellent. 3 star for barramundi

Headed there for brunch with friends. Opens at 10am but cannot order food till 11am. Had the Asian noodle salad $23. Bland and tasted like supermarket packaged salad. Didn’t finish. Thank goodness the chips were good. I’d return for an after swim beverage, but never eat there again.

Had lunch and dinner on ground floor eatery only. Place is new and well appointed with a kids play area.
Plenty of staff, all who are friendly [ even the security staff] and efficient.
Food reasonably priced and good quality. Wait times are good even with crowds.
There is a more upmarket eatery one level up, which I did not sam ple

Had a meal there tonight. Sort of! We watched the waitress take my sons and partners food to another table. I had eaten half my meal by this time. We were table 2 they were 15. Not very similar. They left my sons burger at the table and took the steak to the back. Few minutes later Brought my partner the wrong meal. So he took that back. Then watched a waitress take our burger from the wrong table which the girl had been eating from to our table. Gross. Obviously refused to accept and asked them to remake one that someone who I didn’t know hadn't been eating. With attitude she took the plate away.
Finally got our food. No apology or no courtesy check on our meals. Service was so terrible. When you pay nearly $100 for pub food I expect some sort of care,
So many great places to eat now. I’ll find it tough to go back. Bummer as the venue is beautiful.

Service was great, friendly staff. We didn't have rooms, & not sure if they do, so hard to rate 5 star, but if anything like pub area would more than likely be great.

Great pub in a great spot. But please, for crying out loud, please put some QR codes on the tables to allow digital ordering. No one wants to stand in line to order food (line picture below) or wait 10min at the bar to be served when it’s busy. Would have been 5 stars otherwise

Great choice of food and tastes good. Service a hit-and-miss. Lots of staff walking around but they didn't take notice of us coming in so we just found a table and then had to go find a menu after sitting there for 5 minutes. This was Tuesday night so it wasn't busy. Would've been nice to be welcomed. Other than that food came out fast and overall a nice experience.

Good service, beutiful view our meal arrived in 5 minutes, but I really don't recommend the beef risoles, beef without seasoning, too cooked. It could be better if filling with something beef ball or add cheese on top.

Food is average. Children's play area in the sit down dining area , very noisy. Not a good place to put Children while trying to have dinner and a conversation. Staff need to be informed about anything that's out of order ETC ATM machines and staff should know more about the area to point people in the right direction to the nearest to meet there needs

Dined in the lower level of the newly renovated hotel on Saturday, the 16th.
The food was very disappointing. Two people had ordered sauce with their meals and had to go and find a waitress to get this delivered.
Two people had ordered chicken parmigiana, but the two meals were entirely different. It looked like they had forgotten to put the ham on one and added it later. Very disappointing

Busy as to be expected for a new place. Went upstairs and ordered from QR code, service was quick, and even though I stuffed up our order (I'm sure I checked it) the staff didn't make a big deal about replacing the errant meal with what we wanted. Mains $24-70+ . Could also have chosen tapas style, but would have been about $30/head. Wine selection could have wider diversity but champers by the glass was great!

Best feed in Coolangatta/ Kirra. Every meal that passed us from the kitchen looked better than the last. The staff were also amazing! How they have pulled this together in such a short time is amazing and feels like this will continue to be a destination venue for years to come.

Atmosphere on a Sat night was great and great vibes from all the staff. Great decor and awesome vibe.
Let down by the food, the schnitzel mash was undercooked and had hard lumps of undercooked potato.
Great taste on the chicken tender burger but ultimately the burger was too dry. Needs more sauce, pickles and melted cheese to really hit the spot as well as a softer bun. Chips were delicious.

Amazing food, drinks and outdoor area. A must visit if in the area. Live music Sunday afternoons which is great.
