Knox Club

Went to the Bistro on Saturday night with friends. It was a busy night and took a little time to get food, but were made to feel special with some complimentary drinks due to food delay. The Bistro is a lovely dining area. The food was very good and staff were friendly and attentive.

Went there for dinner with my family, meals were hot, large and yummy. A great price too. Il be back for sure.

Well the chicken parma was awesome even the veg was cook just right, the pizza was just OK for a meatlovers it need more meat on it, the venue is great with very helpful staff.

We held our daughters 21st here in The Elms Room and were very, very impressed with the venue and service. Our thanks to Ally who went above and beyond to help us organise the night. No question was a problem and communication was excellent. Food we chose was very, very tasty and plentiful. Drinks at the bar were extremely reasonable and the overall service was excellent. We highly recommend The Knox Club if you have any functions.

We had our work break-up lunch here, 12 people and the bistro was packed. Everyone at our table had a good meal, my eye fillet steak was cooked perfectly. A couple of dishes were forgotten, you were very busy and it was rectified without a problem. Staff are friendly and efficient. All in all it was a very enjoyable lunch.

We had my daughter's 21st birthday here and everything was fantastic. Great room and staff with everything super organised. The food was good and the drinks reasonably priced. Thanks for a great night.

We had calamari, mac and cheese bites , garlic pizza and pork ribs and wings. Everything was good. Could have used a hit of salt. The sauce on the ribs was delicious but those ribs had seen better days. They needed to be cleaned up better and they needed to be cooked a lot longer for then to be tender at least. Which is a shame cause the rest of the food was yum

Unfortunately we waited nearly an hour, after I mentioned to staff, at the Members Bar for our order, due to some glitch in their system ..our order was never placed. We sat there like clowns waiting while everyone else got their order. Food finally came out...some overcooked and undercooked and rushed.The burger meat was very undercooked. Very disappointing food from the kitchen chefs. Was going to book a friend's 80th, next week with 15 guests. We changed our minds.

Super friendly staff and food is excellent. Will definitely come back again. The ribs & chicken were amazing - can't go wrong. Grilled snapper was great too.

Sandwiched between slot machines and a restaurant was a spacious venue perfect for large functions. We went there for a lunch event and on the menu was a variety of pub food. There was supposed to be pizza on arrival but there didn’t seem to be enough for everyone. For the mains we got the porterhouse steak, chicken parmigiana and crumbed calamari rings - all were pretty good especially the calamari which were so crispy and flavourful, and except for the steak they were generous in portion. There was a bar inside the space also that was handy. The staff members were friendly, although they seemed a bit disorganised serving us meals we didn’t order.

Porter house steak with gravy was great. Appreciate their staff walk me to car park on that night after a small incident at front door. That was great service to protect their customers.

Our meal was so so good, we enjoyed everything. The staff were very helpful and friendly. would def recommend and come again.

Nice venue, very friendly staff, good, classic pub food. I've never had a bad meal here. I usually get the parma. Great atmosphere. Love it. ☺️

Jane the receptionist was lovely to me over the phone and made booking a table very easy. Thank you to her. My partner and I came here to try something different out. Entree. We got the garlic and cheese pizza. 4/5. Bottom was a bit burnt. Still enjoyable. I didn’t mind my roast chicken meal, but I did find the veggies were quite bland. My partner advised me his ribs were not too good and called them a bit inedible. My partner did not feel well afterwards.. and actually vomited in the car park.. However, as we were eating.. there were fruit flies buzzing in and around us, pestering us constantly. I thought it was disgusting. My partner went to the mens rest room and was shocked to see fruit flies everywhere in there. We will not be returning

I've been to the Knox Club for lunch and dinner the past couple of weeks and I have to say the menu and food has improved immensely. On both occasions, lovely meals and great service. Also came away with wins on the pokies, so a bonus...

It was time for a catch up with an old colleague so we decided to meet up at Knox club. I had only come here once before for a friend's son's birthday party in the function room. So it was my first time visiting the legends room for a drink and something to eat. The service from the team was great but the room was so noisy I couldn't hear my friend talking. WE ordered some food to eat. Ordered the 3 little pigs pizza which was ok. The Calamari and chorizo duo was nice. The satay chicken skewers were not great. It lacked flavour so I did not enjoy them at all, neither did my friend . Overall a fair bit disappointed with the noise, couldn't enjoy the catch up.

Had lunch yesterday. Not the greatest. Had the beef bacon and pea filo pastry. Had a funny taste which we couldn’t identify. My sister couldn’t eat hers. Very disappointing. Thought it would be chunks of beef but was only mince. A sausage roll would have been nicer.

Had lunch at the bistro. We ordered a schnitzel, parma and the prawn dish. Food was good.

Had a lovely casual lunch with my partner and Oma. As non members ourselves, driver’s license were expected at check in. So make sure you have yours on you. The lunch menu had a great range from Seniors, Kids, Burgers, Pasta and Steak options. This also includes Chef Special and Meal of the Day specials. And then there are the Specific day specials. We went on a Saturday, and roast of the day was turkey. Interior: Clean and spacious. Really nicely spaced tables and chairs to allow for privacy, or flexibility to push tables and chairs together to cater for bigger groups. Outdoor Deck: a lovely spacious outdoor deck with seating and greenery for those wanting to enjoy a drink or two with food while basking in the sunshine. Or for those that don’t mind a bit of a breeze on the chillier days. Lunch, Steak: My partner said the meat was cooked well, however, a standard cut of steak. Still acceptable for the club. Pepper sauce. The sides of salad was a great choice, and also comes with chips. The fat chips were crunchy and perfectly baked. Although, with the salad and chips was a bit much for him. Oma and I didn’t steal any chips, so he didn’t finish it all. But I am sure if he had room in his belly he would have finished them off. Lunch, Fettuccine Carbonara: Oma and I had ordered this. There was a Senior Special, kids size. And then the standard, which I didn’t quite finish. Very generous with the servings and bacon. I added extra salt and pepper on mine to give it more flavour since the cream was very rich. Tea, water and Beer: served quickly and professionally. The English breakfast, with side of milk was perfect. Water was self served and plentiful. I couldn’t remember what beer my partner offered. Some ale I am sure. He seemed to enjoy it. Service: professional and quick. Even though the eftpos was down the day we were having lunch. We were offered a tab and then to fix the bill at the end. We only had to wait for 5-10 minutes but it was not an inconvenience because the staff was friendly and explained to us the whole time what was happening. Will return again with Oma since it’s close to her house and she does like the atmosphere.

Great meals and fast service. Second time visiting and the meals were amazing again. Clean and modern decor.

Friday afternoon visit, lovely ambience. Nice and quiet, staff friendly and helpful. Lots of choice of machines, clean, restaurant open. Great spot.

Food is decent but did not come out all today. 3 meals out of 9 waited 45 Min. Grateful to have received a refund from management.

Couldn't really fault this pork roast. Very affordable and generous proportions. BUT, I only kept coming back for the lambs fry that is sadly not on the menu anymore. 😭😭😭

A quiet meal with my wife was planned, as we went early for a change. The service from all the staff was exemplary, as was the food. Chose one of the Tuesday special deal (Porterhouse) which was cooked to perfection. Enjoyable atmosphere with friendly staff.

Amazingly good chicken parma and great value for money. Strict dress code. Pints unfortunately are in tall thin glasses not stubby handles which are how pints should be served

All 6 of us enjoyed our meals. The roast lamb was excellent. Bar staff were friendly, helpful and courteous. Nothing seemed any trouble when ordering our meals. All round, we enjoyed our lunch. Thank you.

A friend & myself enjoyed a pleasant meal in the Bistro. We were able to move tables to one on the deck, friendly staff member helped with this. Great service & will definitely come again.

Absolutely beautifully cooked steak it was full of flavour and still nice and juicey. Job well done to serve 4 steaks and one parma to hit the table at the same time .
