Went there last night & ordered seniors seafood selection. I was disappointed with the food, for the price I paid, I expected a bit more selection.
I have had better seafood platters at other venues & paid less $$s.

We had a family lunch today at Knox Tavern. The gentleman who served us our drinks really had no idea what to charge us. I ordered a couple of wines from the wine list and then ordered a house wine. When he charged me , I questioned why he charged more for the house wine as opposed to the wine on the list. His answer was " All our wines are house wines"
What a joke. He then couldn't decide what to charge so ended up charging a sav blanc price from the wine list.
We were dissapointed also with the calamari. It was fried too much and so different to what the main calamari was that my daughters ordered. The only thing that was nice was the kids spaghetti . Surely you need to train your staff and cooks , especially to let them know that wine from the list is NOT all house wine.

Was there sun 24th March 2024 for dinner family birthday catch up. Ordered seafood selection cost $35. It sounded very nice on menu but was so disappointed as the seafood was frozen processed seafood, the type you buy from a box in supermarket. Did not enjoy meal at all and the serve was quiet small. Presentation was quiet poor, all shoved onto a plate with chips on bottom. Not impressed at all, and doubt I will return. First time ever I've been there so 1st impressions count!!!

Usually enjoy visits to local pubs & bistros, however not this occasion.
Ordered a medium scotch steak and it came out more than well done and dryer than my old neighbours beef jerky. No amount of sauce could moisten it up for it to be bearable to swallow.
Would give 1 star but the garlic bread & wedges were fine which is not hard to get wrong.
Please introduce QR ordering as the queue to order food with 1 register makes it a long wait even during non peak times.

This place is dreadful. Never coming back. Food is cold, and not cooked properly. Service is so RUDE and disgusting, should never speak to a customer that way. Would not recommend. Food came 45+ minutes late aswell, and still waiting. Edit- The bistro was practically empty, my baby cousin was knocked over TWICE by waitresses and didn’t apologise either. Was concerned about the quality of food aswell as a hair was found in my meal and as i complained to the manager nothing was done about it either. 0/10.

The manager, Isaac is extraordinarily rude to the staff. The way to get return customers is to build a good rapport. One of the staff was talking to me and he walked past her and very rudely, in front of me, the customer, told her to "Get back to work."
HOW RUDE!! Guaranteed I will never return here, nor recommend this place to anyone.
Plus the food wasn't that good.

The food was nice we all enjoyed it, except the nugget meat was the cheapest chicken flavoured bleached pink slime, I was uncomfortable feeding it to my kids so please improve on the quality of that. The desserts weren’t comparable sizes so the chocolate pudding was tiny and not worth the price tag. The amenities are good and there is good entertainment for the kids, but the playground is wet inside, needs to be sealed from the rain.
Chicken nugget quality - 1/5: May contain traces of chicken.

Regularly go here. Great staff, parmas are always amazing. Their parma night usually has good variety too.

Ordered a Parma, that was so badly burnt that I nearly called an ambulance for it.
And the Chicken Alfredo had so much garlic in it, that Van Helsing even thought it too much.

Located on the outside of Knox shopping centre, the Knox tavern has all the usual amenities - a sport's bar, dining area, pokies etc. Food is ok and they have discount menu for seniors.

Just wanted to say a huge thank you to the food/bistro manager on duty tonight (8thJune) Hubby and I were there for an early dinner and things didn’t go to plan, luckily the manager quickly and quietly with no fuss got us sorted and we had a lovely dinner and were able to go home with our bellys full and happy. Thanks for looking after us.

I went with my daughter on the 16th December I ordered the chicken and mushroom risotto the onion was raw the garlic was raw and it was tasteless My daughter had the special something wrapped in file she could not eat it. I set to eat there at least twice a week the food was amazing it had gone so far down we won't be going again

I was so disappointed with my food, I ordered the calamari and I got the calamari and chips dumped on a plate with a side salad of mostly mixed lettuce and a dressing. I will never go back to the Knox tavern, and I would advise that if you’re thinking about eating their, you think again.

Great atmosphere and always great service here. The food is always spot on as well, enjoy coming here on Wednesday nights for Trivia we always get a meal and a Tank beer 👌

Good service and delicious food served here.
We came here for dinner as a group of 7 and ordered chicken risotto, fish and chips, grilled barramundi, chicken caesar salad, creamy ravioli and for desserts, we had the sticky date puddings. Every dish was good. Would definitely be back.

Good Pub food at reasonable prices compared to other similar places. Food is of good quality and the atmosphere is relaxed. If you're in the area, give it a try!

Food is overpriced for what you get. Do NOT get the the so called seafood medley. All the seafood was fried and frozen . The battered fish definitely came out of a box and way to expensive just to buy frozen (not fresh) seafood.
The kids meal was tiny, and again "fish and chips" was a the kind of fish out of a box.

Excellent service, the staff are so lovely! Best customer service from everyone. Kids loved the play area and the booths were nice and comfy. Great food at a great price

Enjoyable easy-to-locate venue with friendly staff at the bistro and sports bar. Always fun to attend Wednesday night trivia! Never too crowded in evenings for meals; nice atmosphere and peaceful music. Particularly nice dessert specials

Dined for dinner before watching a movie at nearby cinema. I had the oven baked barramundi fillet with citrus cream sauce, panko crumbed prawns, salad & chips. It was tasty & I was happy to see the sauce was served on the side. Hubby had a chicken parma & enjoyed that also. Service friendly. Will return to try other menu items & their cocktails.

Came here for dinner and was severely disappointed with the choice. I had what was described as a Chicken Scallopine was not Chicken scallopine. It was a small piece of grilled chicken breast with slice of bacon on top and normal brown gravy and 2 tiny mushrooms. I have had many Chicken Scallopines in my time and none of them are like this. The mash potato that came with it was bland. The chicken parma was also bland and tasteless albeit being quite a decent size. I doubt I would dare to come back in a real hurry. Other that that service was friendly.

Blonde old lady at the sports bar on Saturday was the rudest person I've ever met. Worst service. She discriminated against my down syndrome friend and treated us different from the others.

A very unpleasant experience for our family birthday dinner last night. It started with extremely long wait times and only got worse after our valid requests and appropriate feedback, then even worse as we left with our birthday cake deciding to celebrate elsewhere .. a much better vibe. So called 'management' behaved very poorly, lacked maturity, respect, manners and any customer service skills .. in fact she was unbelievably rude. Despite that, I took the time to personally thank the two staff members who were outstanding - the young male bartender and the security staff member. I also waited patiently to personally hand back my membership card to 'management', we certainly won't be needing it any longer.

A nice place to join with friends for a drink and a bite to eat. Plenty of parking out front with the shopping centre close by. Undercover parking also close for those hot days. Give it a try next time at Knox Shopping Centre.

After drinks and Soup we were wondering why the main course was being delayed.
On inquiry we were told that our order was totally forgotten. We completely understand that mistakes do happen.
But it was the complete lack of contrition which was so disappointing.
