Walking in it was sooo noisy, I thought this isn't a good start..
But food was really nice. We had a pasta carbonara which the waitress offered to put extra veggies into since we didn't eat meat and it was delicious. My partner enjoyed his Parma. Wait staff were very attentive.

Very tasty bistro meals.. served nice and quick which is great when you have hungry little mouths to feed. Very noisy when it is a full house and when they are cooking the air is very smokey.

The food is ok but a bit overpriced. There was only one chef on the day we went so the waiting time is more than an hour. The staff was quite friendly though.

The food is good. Chinese and western meals. The food is good and the beers are nice and cold. Friendly staff.

The decor in the restaurant area is looking a bit tired and is quite noisy especially because this seems to be one of the easier places in Lakes for families with young children to enjoy a meal together. As an older couple, the high noise level is a bit offputting. But the food was really good and The servings were generous.

MY FAMILY AND I HAD THE WORST EXPERIENCE TODAY, STARTED WITH WAITING FOR OUR MEALS FOR ALMOST TWO HOURS SEEING PEOPLE THAT COME AFTER US GET THERE MEALS SO I WENT AND ASKED ONLY THEN DID WE GET OUR FOOD, THE TWO FLOOR STAFF MAINLY THE YOUNG GIRL WITH BRASERS HAVING GOOD TIME PLAYING JOKES WITH EACH OTHER AND NOT CARING AT ALL ABOUT CUSTOMERS OR HER JOB.SHE WAS SICK WITH RUNNY NOSE COUGHING EVERYWHERE AS SHE WALKED AROUND.I DID NOTICE ALL ASIAN STAFF WORKING HARD.
TO THE BOSS/OWNER CHECK YOUR CAMERAS BETWEEN 5.30 TO 8.30 AND WATCH WHAT YOUR STAFF ARE UP TO.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE EAT HERE!!! ZERO STAR FOR SERVICE!!

Looks like a great place to eat, but not if you’re an out of Towner. No service and burnt chips, to say the least. Don’t recommend when there are many more places in Lakes to chose from

I had lunch at the club today and only enjoyed the excellent staff and the people I was with. I ordered the grilled grenadier with chips and salad a favourite fish of mine....very ordinary to say the least. I can tell when fish is frozen..I can buy the same from the supermarket and cook at home.
For the prices you charge why not embrace the fresh seafood in abundance in our beautiful town.

Honestly, THE most disappointing pub meal I have EVER had. Not only were we told we had already collected and eaten our garlic “toast” (which is LITERALLY 3 slices of toast, garlic butter, and a slice of cheese for $10), but the veggies, chips and scotch fillet were proper cold! The hottest part of the meal was the pepper gravy! It was ninety something dollars that I’ll never get back! I work hard for my money and, especially in these times, to see it spent on such a let down of a meal, was very upsetting.., for the lack of a better word.
The staff were lovely, but I think they know that something has gone very horribly wrong here

Highly recommend visiting, from the moment my husband and I walk in we were greeted with warmth and friendliness. The barmaid her warmth, and kindness was amazing. One of our meals came out quite late, however we were given two extra entrees for the time wait. It was the member Easter raffle being drawn tonight, one of the amazing members won it, and handed it to us to take home for our kids.
Definitely couldn’t recommend the hospitality enough.

Haven't been here for a while but I must say it has much improved.. service was friendly food came quick and was absolutely amazing.. highly recommend.

Great Chinese menu Yum :)
Food is Asian or Western and it's tasty and filling. For those requiring it Gluten free food is available.Free parking is available at the back entrance in Church Street.

Good food with selection of Chinese or European it feels like a food court in a shopping centre. Has a tab and pokies.

Good cheap dinner. Bistro quality, a little noisy but to be expected for a Friday night during peak holiday season.

Food was very disappointing. Beef seemed old and stewed in a Thai Beef Salad. I wasn't even sure it was safe. Gave up and set aside.
Other party's fish meal was OK but not brilliant.
Atmosphere was spoiled by incessant prize announcements.
Poor overall experience. Back to the pub next time. Far superior in every way.

Food was amazing. Had western menu on Sunday and had to come back again and try the asian menu on Tuesday. So much flavour and well presented

Food is amazing!! we had the pork belly rice & pasta.
Lady on entry was formal in the sense of checking vaccinations.
Only 3 stars as I personally felt pressured to become a member, my partner became a full member and to be honest I didn't really need to get it... however, all together is was only $15.
Very club style vibe. However, would defiantly go back as the meals were amazing.

Excellent little club, off season so quiet but the asian meal was fantastic. Garlic prawns with veg. Yum.

Excellent food with a less than McDonald's atmosphere. (Except for the cheesy garlic toast - blah).
I had the Kiev and I was delighted that it was a real breast cooked well. The side chips were flavoured and delicious.
My daughter had lamb shanks and loved it. My other daughter had fettuccini Carbonara and enjoyed it. My son and his wife liked their parmos and they informed me the chicken was processed.
My wife had the chicken sweet corn soup and liked it, as well as her dim Sims, which were not from marathon.
The kids meals were cheap nuggets or pizza, but what do you expect from kid's meals?
As I mentioned earlier, don't buy the garlic toast. I could have made this at home.
I was not happy with the state of cleanliness as all you had to do was look at the ceiling... At some point, what goes up must come down.
My chief gripe was the fact there was only one register taking orders and a very long line.
However, kudos to the lovely gentleman at the entrance who rescued my grandson's sunglasses from the donation barrel.
This place could be so much better with a bit of TLC. Right now, I'd rather eat at a roadside diner.

Awful food. Don’t believe the website. No more than half the actual menu. And food is sub standard at best. Door lady was horrible and pretty rude.

A very busy place. Food and service was good in really busy place. My only neg is its a noisy space....one of those echoing rooms. There are tables outside which we would use next time. Best to book...in the holiday period.

After not being here for near on 10yrs due to a very poor experience I should have waited longer.
Besides leaving, the only other positive I can give was the older lady that took our lunch order. She was the only person observed or interacted with that showed any positivity in this place. The young waitress showed disinterest, annoyance and unprofessionalism. Delivering our meals by sliding the plates and sauces across the table to us instead of placing them down.
The stench throughout the venue was nauseating. When asked, I was informed it was "the plumbing and will be fixed tomorrow" and also "it's been like that for a while" from another staff member.
