Wow I had never been there before and I was really impressed.We ordered pasta and I was extremely delicious both mine and my wife. The place has been newly renovated and it has a playground under cover for the kids to be entertained. I would definitely recommend this place to take the family for a meal. Sorry I forgot to take photos maybe next time I am there for a feed.

Went there for lunch with a friend. We had a veggie burger. It was the worst veggie burger we had both ever eaten! Highly processed pattie and cheese with a little tomato relish and lettuce. That was it for $24! The pattie had an awful texture. I've spent the same at other venues with fresher, higher quality ingredients.

We held my daughter’s 7th birthday party here on Saturday May 1st. The staff were amazing and Hayley was an amazing event coordinator who was only too happy to answer all questions and accommodate what we asked. The atmosphere is amazing for a kids party with that beautiful big playground undercover for them to enjoy. The food was prompt in coming out for the kids at the time we asked and the fruit platter we ordered was huge. We also hired Judi from Judi’s face painting and body art for the kids and Hayley made sure she had some space to work for the kids. It’s a beautiful and stylish Tavern. The kids meals are very generous and the food the adults ordered looked divine!
It was so popular for kids parties on Saturday that there were 4 parties being held there. So they do an amazing job with professionalism and running everything like clockwork! Highly recommend!!! A lot of the parents that attended have said they’ll hold their kids party there in the future!

We had our daughter birthday party here on Saturday . The staff were amazing to deal with and organise through - the set up was more than I expected and everything went so smoothly . The playground is big enough to accommodate so many kids . Lots of guests commented on the food and the facilities of the tavern . We will be back .

This lunchtime special was great. $14.00 for a steak sandwich with chips, the best steak sandwich I've had for a while. The steak was tender 😋

This is a really nice, clean, welcoming, friendly, open Tavern.
The car park was absolutely full at dinner time! Tables full of families and the area is separated from the gambling/drinking/multi TV screen area so the children can be in the dining area, plus, they have an outside play area which needs to be supervised by adults. PLEASE!!
The meals are a little less than restaurant quality but at least top quality bistro meals. I had a fresh Barramundi steak, grilled to perfection with fresh steamed veggies, however, by the time I got through the fish, the veggies were cold.
Excellent service at the counter and at the bar, reasonable bar & food prices, varied menu, kids' menu.

The food was exceptional, the staff were beautiful on every level..they gave me a free capaccino when I said it was my birthday. The playground was brilliant. Loved loved loved our visit.

The food is always delicious and even though they were extremely busy on the day we were there, there really wasn't a long wait for the food. The staff are always so friendly and helpful.

One of the best local meals we have ever had. This place is our regular go to for either a quick lunch, afternoon coffee, or a date night-special occasion. We always book online to guarantee us a table for dinner otherwise the time we want is booked out. The food is excellent (we've never had to take a meal back), the servings generous and the prices are reasonable. The service is always polite, friendly and helpful.

Netty. Was. Here. What a lil hot spot this place is.. well packed for lunch time. Clean and well presented tavern offering $14 mid week lunch specials. Filling and very satisfied.

Highly recommend, especially with children. Had my 2yr olds birthday party here, excellent kids play area and amazing and delicious food, very fast service and friendly, helpful staff.
Our go-to night out.

Had a nice family meal and no one really complained, plenty food on the plates. Play area is great for the kids but maybe a little supervision from parents would be great as some of the smaller children were being stopped from using the slides due to the older kids wanting to go up them or just sit in the middle. We will be coming back on a regular basis though

Great staff, they were fantastic, the steak was disappointing, very chewy but the thing that really turned us off was how feral it got near the playground. There were 2 serious accidents where young kids fell from the top of the slides. Didn't feel safe having my boy there so we left early.

Great selection of pub food with plenty of tables and parking. The inside is air-conditioned and there is a large play area to keep the kids entertained. Our favourite was the Chicken Schnitzel with Gravy sauce. We will definitely visit again when we are back in the area. Highly recommended!

Great pub food, the playground is great for the kids. We had a party of 20 people, 8 were kids who enjoyed the playground while the adults enjoyed the being together. Food arrived quickly.

Great place to have a nice meal while the kids play in the covered play area. Love the big fireplace and the big screen to be able to watch the footy. A few more vegetarian options would make this place perfect.

Great food, could have a change of menu, but food is good. Quick service, friendly staff, newly renovated, great atmosphere, great for ther whole family.

Great food, and it has an excellent playground for the kids.
It also has really reasonable pricing.
Highly recommend, but from past experiences it's always best to book ahead on busier days/nights.

From the previous reviews I was looking at, it appears this place has been renovated extensively. Unfortunately their marketing hasn’t shown this off too well, as this venue is absolutely fantastic! The interior looks gorgeous, bright and with a relaxing atmosphere. The outdoor area looked really inviting, especially with the large outdoor live sports match playing. The prices are good and the food offerings were fantastic. The schnitzel was really tasty. I would highly recommend this place as I will be coming back. I would highly suggest this business invest in some marketing with a videographer for online adverts. This place needs to be shown off more.

Found this gem travelling up the coast. Perfect for a family pit stop, great pub-style meals and a large fenced off playground for the kids. You can eat your meal in view of the playground either indoors or outside. Staff were really helpful, moving heaters around for us. Probably a nice place for locals to come as well, but I'd recommend this place for travelers, especially families with kids.

Exceptional customer service!
The wait to order food was quite long, but it came out quickly once the order was placed, and was good value for the cost.
The playground is fantastic.
We will definitely be back.

Everything was perfect. From booking, communication and food not one issue. Tavern was packed to capacity and line to order dinner took over 20 mins but food was served in under 30 mins from ordering. Never had a bad meal or service from the Tavern. Top Job Guys

Best pub in Raymond Terrace, lovely pub, big open and spacious. Would be a fantastic spot for a venue. Very family friendly and great spot for parents and kids. The food was awesome. Have all ready recommendations to family and friends and we will back to try other items on the menu.

Awesome atmosphere at this fabulous restaurant. Typical burger joint. Massive and delicious burgers.. but takes time coming. Wait in the queue first to pay! But doesn’t take away from the quality of the food or the atmosphere . Worth the wait.

A great place to lunch with friends. They have a really good lunch specials menu, friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere. There is plenty of parking and a playground for kids. The venue is also wheelchair friendly being on one level with plenty of room around tables. There are several sections to choose for seating.
