What a pleasant surprise it was to enter this clean pub with two long bar counters and very friendly and happy staff. It was even more wonderful to realise I had come at "Happy Hour" and got my chilled beers at a discount. The large menu looked appetising and the Beef Burgundy Pie that was shown as a "Chef's Special" is what I must go back to try. The $10 Daily Specials are great value for money.

Well priced food. Staff were a bit run off their feet but they were friendly. We enjoyed our meals. Not a huge beer selection but enough choices for a bit of variety.

Well my friend wanted a strong bought cider and they had run out,well these things happen.When she said she would give a bad review the manager said if you give a bad review you will be bared .When I said you will bare me if I give a bad review he said'well we will call it something else but yes you will be barred'. NOTHING LIKE DEMOCRACY.

We had a lovely meal here today. The steak serve was generous and cooked to perfection. A big thankyou to Emma for her wonderful service!

Wasn't bad, my friend said that the food had improved. Just cook the steak blue when asked for blue... Not rare. Other than that can't go past a £10 steak

The service from the girls is outstanding especially from Lauren, she's the biggest asset to this pub. Always bubbly, welcoming, smiling, polite with a great sense of humour and always so professional and she makes the best coffee too, she truly sets the bar on a higher level which is so good for the pub. . . I can't wait until you have meals, so needed but once the renos are completed I'm sure the service will continue to be outstanding. You're lucky to have the staff you have and we're lucky to have such a great local

Still only care about the pokies!
Didn't think the place would get worse after years of renovations (still ongoing), but the new downstairs bar area is so poorly designed. The TV is almost IMAX sized, but they've had to move the tables so close because of the position of the bar.
Further to that, the schooner glasses are no longer chilled so the beer goes flat quickly. The beer prices use to be cheap compared to other bars in the area, but the prices are too high now for flat beer.
The staff are still good, but apparently their hands are tied due to the owners commands. They can't turn the sound up on the TV's or even put a mat down on the bar service area to soak up the condensation.
No food but give it 5 years and they might eventually open that bistro.

Sitting in the Pub with the usual locals having a bet listening and watching the races when some big wig comes in and says 'i know your having a bet but I'm putting music on'.
Seriously. There is no one else in the bar. The response was 'this is a communal area...' what a joke. If it wasn't for my mates that I drink with. This place would be in my rear view mirror. Why don't you try listening to your locals. We are NOT happy

Quite a nice pub, modern inside with a massive huge screen wall tv in the main bar. Food was also quite good and reasonably priced.
It's certainly come a million miles from the days when it was known as The Stockade.

Pulled in for a beer and feed this arvo about 3pm. Even though the website says bistro hrs are from 10am till 10pm. Told the kitchen was shut till 4. They were having a rest. Looks like the KPT has a new regular customer. It's a shame cause I did like the food here. Anyways.

Popped in today for a quick few games of Keno. ( had a good win). The Lalor Park Hotel is under going a lot of renovations and construction, but it is still open. This would have to be the friendliest venue I have been in. Staff were very friendly and patrons very chatty and friendly. Happy hour on Fridays 5 - 6pm. Should look great when finished. Doesnt have any accomodation even thought it is called a Hotel. Will definately return.

Plenty of space for bigger groups. Lots of out door seating and honestly the friendliest staff you'd ever find in a city pub.

No access to soap in ladies toilets for over a week. Mentioned to staff a few times now. One toilet seat broken and only other one has no toilet paper. Staff just shrug off. My beer taken while I was in toilet, no replacement offered. Ashtrays packed away at 8pm when there are still plenty of customers..why? A woman who frequents there asks patrons for money, cigarettes and drinks. Otherwise an ok pub.

It’s my go to club every second day and staff members are so friendly.
Staff members even know that I drink every time which is great sign of customer care .
I recommend this place to visit when you have chance.

I'm a local drinker . Feeling safe with covid is a priority for me as I have an elderly dad . When i tried to address this issue the publican was more interested in saving his job than making sure that my family was safe from corona virus. I only have one dad ... why don't people get it .

If you're a person likes to be in a casual environment, this is the place to be. I've seen people barefoot there on hot days and the staff are chilled about it. The food is also good there.

Horrible experience! I was refused entry from the egotistical head security guard because I didn't have my phone on me at the time to jump through their vigorous QR hoops, even though I handed over my ID and was willing to provide my email & phone number. When I stated that this was discrimination, the Manager, Nicholas, was called, to which we then argued about the legalities of me being denied access to the establishment, to which then the security guard & manager then conspired to throw me out on a loop hole, stating that they thought I was under the influence of drugs... after a 10 min argument about QR code phone requirements.
Absolute disgrace, nobody should spend their money at this sorry excuse of an establishment.

Havent been back for years, the renovations now are awesome 😊 Food is yummo primo, love the beer garden and open space. The staff are attentive and bubbly. Karaoke was a great surprise. There is a gym adjoining the building so you see many different walks of life without even leaving your seat. Lol

Brought fish n chips meal today Thursday 23 July
Cost $15 X 2
Was a waste of time
No salad
Took one bite of the so called fish was not even a battered fish taste more like fish fingers.
Aldi's battered fish taste way better.
Went back to the bar an complained an got my money refunded..
The only reason I went to the pub cause on their website it showed a beautiful picture with a battered fish chips an salad for $10.
Only to be told that the fish meal is $15.
Why is that I said
The bar lady says cause of Covid 19 it hasn't been that price..
I'm like We'll update your website cause that's false advertising.
So don't order the fish meal not worth $15..

BEST service. The staff are so friendly, kind, and helpful, and will go out of their way. + LGBTQ friendly. Patrons seem great too. Love this place, and grateful this is my local!

Best local pub- and then some! Always pleasant experience n friendly/relaxed environment. Staff, especially the awesomeness from the girls (helpful, obliging, genuine chat n banter n just nice chicks all up.

Beer was good. Not like an English pub but what is. Friendly atmosphere, as per most Aussie pubs, beer and glasses cold. Good selection of beers and the bar staff are friendly and helpful. Worth a pit stop for a refreshing amber nectar!!

Asked for a Coffee that can wake me up. Oh boy I was amazed with the strong coffee.
