We were at the hotel today for lunch. We had previously booked our table for 12.00pm. Firstly our reserved table had been given to other patrons. After we found another table we sat and waited for over an hour and a half for our meals. Apparently they lost our order. There was no apology.
The few staff that were on were totally overcome with the number of customers. Obviously management need to cater for local events and treat their staff and patrons with more respect by employing casual staff to assist when local events are on!

We tried here for lunch recently since the change of management. Staff were friendly, there werenmany there in the middle of the week and the food was quick. We had pie chips and gravy. The chips and gravy were next level yum but think the bacon in the beef pie was too salty for us.

Went there for pasta night, the pub it self and staff were fine but the most disappointing deal night I’ve been to sadly. Small portion of bland and tepid chicken pasta that included about a table spoon of actual chicken and almost one mushroom. maybe if it was 10 bucks I’d let it slide but for twenty I don’t won’t to be stopping off on the way home for a kebab after tea.
Snitzels looked good though.

Went for lunch. I was impressed by the amount of Gluten Free options they had on the menu which is very helpful as my husband is gluten free and sometimes menus are limited. Staff very friendly. Lovely location opposite a gorgeous park.

We had our son's 21st there last night. It was fabulous.
Service was excellent, food was delicious and everyone was very accomodating. Licensee was 10/10, he made sure everything was great.
I would highly recommend.

Very very disappointing. Went for lunch with friends, waited 50 minutes for meals. Small servings, overpriced and overcooked. We won't be back or recommend this venue to out friends

Overhead someone else in the restaurant raising an issue with their meal and the staff were clearly trying to help and taking the feedback seriously which is great, unfortunately I don’t think I’d be willing to risk it again - $32 for a 200gm rump and $9.80 for a schooner is a bit rich for Lambton. The food really wasn’t great which is a shame because the people seem like they’re giving it a good go. This pub has changed hands quite a few times in recent years and it seems like no one has found an approach that fits yet.

Nice little local pub, bit of a quieter atmosphere the clientele seemed to be of an older demographic.
Food was good, with pretty decent specials. The manager is also super nice and welcoming. They were absolutely smashed with orders when we were there and he was very accommodating (he was running the food himself)
Nice colonial style place, if they got new flooring and tables it could be a really cool place!

My wife and I dropped in for a late lunch on the 28th of January. We had a quick look online and saw some good reviews.
The food and service surpassed all of our expectations. We shared a steak sandwich and a wrap - which were both delicious. I washed it down with a beautiful lager from a local brewery.
Thanks to Ash and Paris for making us feel so welcome.

My partner and I visited for dinner and had some of the best service we’ve had at a pub on a very busy night for the bar and bistro. Particularly the man behind the bar with the black mullet and ear piercing, as well as the speedy kitchen staff went above and beyond for us.

Met up with friends Sat 13/01/24 for a few drinks. Barking dog wandering around the sports bar. Staff pouring beers in one go instead of allowing it to settle (seriously?). Air con in the sports bar turned off at 3pm on a hot day. Food average. None of us will be back.

Had a great lunch at Lambton Park Hotel on Sunday. Great weekend menu. The Specials Board was comprehensive. Lovely food, perfectly cooked scotch fillet, yummy chips and salad for me, and my family loved the huge chicken snitzel, fish and chips and kids manu. The salads were fresh and crisp. The food was medium priced, and we were well looked after by such friendly staff. Lovely service, thank you. Will definitely come again.

Fresh clean room, clean comfortable bed. Clean functional facilities. Great overnighter, great price. Nice feed and friendly staff.

Food is expensive, tastes average and took a while to arrive. Sauce was poured on the schnitzel drowning it. Needs a good spruce up. The raffle announcement was way too loud and went too long.

Fantastic meals and such friendly service. The person in charge of steaks understood the medium rare assignment, which I appreciate greatly. Even had some dessert we liked the food so much.

Dropped in for a few beers and a feed, don't know about the rooms, great old style pub, plenty of space, good staff and service, good feed, had the pie and peas, will have to drop by again on a different night and try more of the menu.

2. Half hour for food.
3. Dry chicken.
4. Loud raffle.
5. Dirty walls.

Chicken snitty with veg was amazing. Beautiful chicken cooked just right and the veggies were fresh/crunchy. The peppercorn sauce on the side was next level. Service is always good, happy customer.

Came in for lunch. Zaell behind the bar couldnt do enough to accomodate our minor meal changes. The food was great. Highly recommended. Nice to see a place think outside the square. Great GF range as my wife is Coeliac. We will be back.

Came here a couple of weeks ago for dinner. Ordered our food at 7:30pm, after most people in the pub had already eaten. After waiting about 40mins, a member of staff apologised as our order had been forgotten so he offered us a free round of drinks. In the meantime, multiple people that ordered well after us, got their meals first when they had ordered the same food as us. We then had to wait another 40mins before finally getting our meal just before 9pm.

By service I mean the kitchen. Worst food, almost inedible.
Steak Sandwich was literally grizzle with chips that had been cooked what tasted like an hour before.

Bit loath to actually review this place as its so good it's best kept quiet about. Rooms are great value. Clean comfortable. Meals are delicious. Staff are friendly and helpful. Excellent service.
