We had a lovely pub meal. This place host one of the only circular cold rooms in Queensland.

This pub is a gem and the food and bar service is excellent .The food is the cheapest in town and of a good standard. This family owned pub is locally grown I mean people first Not pokies which actually is a walk in the past where people talk,laugh and have fun.Entertainment is always high on the list and the locals ,from all walks of life are generally friendly and welcoming. I thouroughly recommend this place. It hasn't got all the glitter but it's got character and charm and you feel like your at home.. Blast from the past

The service for the dining room was so organised for such a big gathering. The bar service really left us feeling somewhat ignored at times and it was not that busy. We will still go back for the food as it was excellent.

Regular older pub, the staff are friendly and the food good and very well priced the calamari was recommended and we were not disappointed, big serve for lunch with a lovely salad and chips on the side.

Pretty casual atmosphere know about 10 years ago was a bit of a place you had to watch if u know what I mean food good has jam sessions and cool bands outside spots and the sea breeze u get excellent on a hot day

My piece of crumbed steak was so big I needed a doggy bag to take it home with me.👍

Live music from Wednesday through to Sunday. Super chill local vibes, down to earth staff and free pool. Great go to for a quick cheap meal too with $10 crumbed steak meals as a permanent special (although I favor the salmon for only $17!).

I’ve visited Langfords a few times and their staff really stand out. The bar staff particularly are all super fun, and the ladies on the floor have all been helpful and kind. The food is good and the prices are great. They usually have a live band on Friday nights (maybe Saturday too?) and there is a pool table. There is plenty of space and tables as well as ample parking. The location is great if you plan to head into town, you can just walk. Highly recommend starting your night here or heading down for a meal and drink. There is a real classic pub vibe too. The only thing I don’t like is the bathrooms which definitely need some love 🤣👍🏼

Its rare for pubs to have that genuine welcoming feel these days. Langfords epitomises that statement. Full of dedicated friendly locals, all the staff are extremely friendly and will have your beer on the pour as soon as they spot you coming to the bar and there's always great live music. Best pub in Mackay by far

Had a mixed grill for only $22 and I couldn't finish it all. Photo shows size of meal. It is a workers pub with a lot of history.

Great older style pub. Plenty of room, 8ball tables, dining, music and more. Everyone was friendly and the young staff were great.

Great little no frills pub.. Nothing but the good old fashioned service one expects at a local.. Great bar staff.. fabulous outdoor seating.. Not in a flash area but it is what it is, which is a pub.. It seemed to be very much a working person's pub.. Cheap drinks because that's what a pub is for.. Chatting with friends, placing a bet, keno and a pool table.. Very old and original which adds to the ambience.. My daughter and I popped in for a drink and ended up having more friends arrive and we stayed for 4 hours.. My daughter and her friends love it because no one bothers them and they can just relax in a safe environment..

first night out since moving to mackay..good old fashioned pub..not pretentious..food was cheap..bar staff were flat out..but so friendly and qyuck..good music and the locals were friendly ..found my go to pub while im here..

Don’t judge a book by its cover. True Aussie pub where everyone knows everyone. We had our Xmas party there last night & it was a blast. The music was good, the staff were friendly and the food was soooo good. Would definitely eat there again!

Disappointed in Langfords Hotel's Change in Atmosphere I've been a frequent patron of Langfords Hotel for quite some time now, drawn by the originality of its local pub ambiance and its previously welcoming attitude towards my furry friend. However, my recent experience has left me disheartened and questioning the hotel's supposed dog-friendly policy. During my latest visit, I entered the establishment with my puppy cradled in my arms, intending to order a drink. There was already a dog present, and my pup remained safely in my arms throughout our brief stay. Despite this, I was abruptly informed that my dog wasn't allowed inside, a jarring contrast to our previous experiences where the lovely owner had even graciously cared for her while I stepped out briefly. The lack of professionalism exhibited by the staff member who addressed me was startling. There was no hint of courtesy or understanding in her demeanor. I was well-dressed, cash at the ready, and yet, I felt compelled to leave due to the unnecessary confrontation. Langfords Hotel needs to adapt and evolve with the changing times. In today's world, many establishments, including Taylors Hotel, not only allow but appreciate the presence of pets. My dog is always showered with attention and love at Taylors, fostering a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We also frequently visit our local grocery store and pharmacy without any issues, greeted by smiles from the staff and fellow customers. I urge Langfords Hotel to revisit its policies and attitude towards its customers, both two-legged and four-legged. It's time to wake up, Langfords, and embrace the pet-friendly trend that is widely accepted and appreciated in our society today. Your loyal patrons deserve courtesy and respect. After all, a hotel is as much about the people (and pets) as it is about the premises.

Best Chicken Schnitty I have ever had. Crumbed in a golden crisp and deliciously crunchy, massive (takes up the size of the plate almost) piece of chicken. Even comes with Vegies, Mash and gravy just for a beautiful $16!! Talk about a score for a masterpiece of a pub feed. 11/10. Recommended to everyone. You won't regret it. Also has a beautiful vibe to the place and such a nice old building. Probably haunted but I'm sure the drunks will annoy you more then Casper and his friends. See yall there 🤠🍻🥩🍗👻

Always outstanding food here. This place is an old gem in Mackay. The food is absolutely delicious and very cheap. The restaurant doesn't get too busy either so food comes quickly. $12 salt and pepper calamari with chops and salad.

Although it's one of the oldest establishments in the entire region (and it shows lol) it's definitely right up in the top 3!!! Bar staff are friendly and approachable, there's not one single pokie machine in the joint [bonus] & one of 2 venues that I can actually say I've personally witnessed & enjoyed live bands 😎👍🍻
