Wonder why there has no TV in the club. The only club which doesn't have big screen TV and seat for local to watch sport

What a relaxing , comfortable haven in the middle of busy southwest Sydney with exceptional service from the welcoming staff and food and cocktails to titillate tastebuds all whilst surrounded by stylish sophistication , very impressive .

We recently held a staff reunion for preschool staff and chose the beautiful alfresco room at Lantern Club for our venue. From our first enquiry we were given friendly information and all our questions were answered.
On the night, Brigitte and her team had everything organised for us, the food was fabulous, everyone commented on how wonderful it was and the staff were friendly and helpful.
I was asked by a number of guests about hiring the room as they enjoyed the venue so much.
Thank you Brigitte for your personalised support and service throughout the entire process and a huge thanks to the staff for their excellent service.

We came here for Christmas lunch today, like we have in previous years. The club puts on a Christmas lunch of seafood, roasts, nibblies, dessert etc, $100 per ticket
This year it was very underwhelming, especially compared to previous years, for the following reasons:
- We had to pay extra if we wanted seafood this year
- No kids food options such as chicken nuggets, chips etc for fussy children
- No drinks provided (they used to include juices, tea, coffee and soft drinks)
- No bonbons this year
Really disappointing, considering the lunch was the same price as previous years.

Very tastefully decorated throughout, great atmosphere and feel about the place. Food, well. All 3 pork dishes were barely warm to cold. Pizza's lacked topping and all over cooked. Worth coming back? No, too many better places about.

Very nice neat club to enjoy a peaceful meal with family and friends. There's a gated outside grass section but would really love to see a kids play area to make use of the grass or even to bring in more people.

Pathetic excuse for an outdoor area. Chairs missing, odd chairs, plants have fallen now for four days. Took all the TV’s away(TAB repossessed) and not replaced by the club. All the bars staff keep on leaving? Only a few good ones left that will put up with managements drama.The restaurant is excellent, good food and good waiters, the only reason it’s going so well is that club management have nothing to do with it.All the club is interested in is ripping off the elderly on the pokies….

Ordered fir lunch each person served at different time mine was 10.00 min after the other 3 in my group.
Ordered Fruit Misto Very disappointing. Flathead was non existent.2 small peices of tiny cocktail sized battered some kind of fish. 2 king prawns and a few calamari overload of chips and a very wilted salad. For the Money very very disappointing.

NO customer service, Food is below average, staff are just there for the money, no care in the world. Front manager is on a power trip, couldn't care less about members and guests.. I really don't know why people come here.. Annie is the only great person there.. I really don't recommend this place at all

My local. Good size local club with bowling greens and gaming area. Nice decor and atmosphere. The staff are always helpful, friendly and welcoming. Drinks prices are reasonable and the food options are pretty comprehensive and at different price points. I usually get the burger with fries for around $18 and its very filling.

My first time at The Lantern Club. Went for dinner with my sister and we had a lovely time. Beautiful ambience, nice and warm and food cooked to perfection. My sister and I are both joining.

Mary and Sophia helped us to have a wonderful celebration. Their friendliness and great service contributed to a very enjoyable night.

Lantern was great! From being greeted at the entrance with a complimentary shot to warm the bones to the delicious meals and excellent table service.
My only critique would be the early closing of the kitchen for desert item and the limited cake selection, but in the overall experience didn't really make a dent.
Great for couples, families and friend gatherings.

I love this place! The food is very good and at a decent price and the staff are very friendly, which is a bonus.
Good for kids, if you are sitting in the courtyard, they can run around on the grass, giving you time to relax and enjoy the green surroundings.

Had a brilliant experience
The food was beautiful generous serve and we were both really impressed with the beef BBQ glazed kebabs
And we had some amazing cocktails almost trying the whole list lol 3 each the expresso martini was my favourite and my daughters was English garden I think (very nice with elderflower liquer) , the staff were all amazing , service was amazing oh we shared dessert for starters, lemon and lime tart omfg bomb silky smooth perfection
Lol obviously we had a great night and will definitely return
I also have maybe 2 or 3 cocktails left to try

Great lunch and really inexpensive. The lovely server Sophia was so friendly and took time out of her day to chat at our table and explained the history of the club.
The decor is definitely a step above your usual club fitout.

Generally good. Was slightly not happy that the bar section was trying to use digital menu and not user friendly or can't find certain products. They ended up bringing the laminated menu back out though.

Friendly staff who are attentive and smiling. Food was fresh and huge portions. Good value for your money here. It's relaxing, clean and modern. The pizzas here are great.
You know what? Life is great at the Lantern Club.

Food & drinks are absolutely incredible! Couldn't fault anything, right down to the kids dinosaur nuggets! You can see the chefs cooking your food which is great, waiters are kind & friendly. Great atmosphere & family friendly along with highchairs for your little one.

First time dining here today and signing up as a member as it was public holiday labour day. The place is actually elegant, plenty of parking, bathroom/toilets are so nice and clean, food was great, excellent customer service! I’ve got 2 kids who were running around. My 1 year old son accidentally broke one of their utensil holder. We told one of the staff and she was so understanding and even asked us if anyone was hurt and be careful for the shattered pieces! They’ve also found my son’s missing sock! My 4 year old daughter asked me for an ice cream and when we went to the counter they even offered the ice cream for free! I think the only improvement that we can suggest is it would be better if there is a mini playground for kids to play so they don’t get bored. But other than that amazing experience will definitely come back 😊
