The saddest market I have ever been to. Hardly any stalls and I arrived 1 hour after opening time. They need to take a look at other markets like Yarra Glen or Belgrave and see what a real market is. So disappointed.

Lara community market is hosted there. Plenty of parking across the road in the station car park area. It's an outdoor event so one can bring dogs. There are quite a few stalls around. Highly recommend the Finnish bakery stall and the soy happy candle stall. The taco stall has one of the best tacos around. Good place for a relaxed outing for the entire family. Kids have an activity stall and there is also a petting zoo to keep them entertained.

Have only been here after hours whereby the yes around the outside provide for a good rest area or meeting point.

Great place, the High Tea was brilliant, coffee and tea, sweets, cakes, hot and cold food was on offer for donation! Normally still a great place!

Beautiful old building with lots of local history. Has the pictures of past members on the wall. Community markets are held outside on first Sunday of the month.
