We drove here to eat and the bistro was closed. Nothing stating this on the website.

Thoroughly enjoyed my meal tonight.. My hat off to the Chef.. The new look is very nice.. Very inviting...Could not fault anything.. Good to see Nicole back..

They really drying hard,but Kitchens closed for the fourth year but displays some kind of food which is not available 🤔

The lady on tonight (sunday 7th march 1am) in pokies room was RUDE. Talking out loud about how useless her co workers were. Went to go ask for assistance with a machine and she snaps "dont rush me". There was a 20c coin jammed in machine and she yells "who was on this machine, why did you put a 20c coin in there" like i was dumb.
Great customer service. 🥴

The chef was in fine form tonight!!
We were a table of five and each of us had different meals.
ALL of our meals were delicious!!
Value for money as well as Wednesday nights are $15 for either fish, chips and salad OR burger and chips.
Very impressed!!

The Buffalo wings were good, the staff were good, my chicken breast was well undercooked and still pink so unfortunately had to send it back and after a further 15 minute wait the chicken breast was cooked fine but it had obviously gone dry and the mash and vegetables had gone cold as they clearly hadn't heated then up at the same time. Overall a very average meal. Hopefully it's an honest once off mistake. Thanks

Save your money, time and avoid disappointment

No Star Rating.... No Crackling...Very very average roast pork as if it was heated up in the microwave and the seasonal veggies are just taken to a whole new level. At least they are interested in conserving water as the veggies were cooked in the same water as the noodles. How do I know this? I was the proud recipient of noodles with my fresh seasonal veg.
If the roast Pork was and is of this caliber I can only imagine what the rest of the menu is like...
It is with regret that I went to this place..

OMG! I can’t remember anything about this place after being told by one the security staff that I should keep walking from the establishment otherwise I would be beaten up for letting him and his fellow bouncers know that congregating around the entrance was a strict violation code of OH&S laws. Not to mention, the security guard also called me and my guests “junkie yobbos” of which me and my friends are neither.
If this had happened on the street, I would have grounds for having him charged with assault and will consider doing so.
I hope management read my post as recanting this terrifying event is in itself an arduous task and difficult to deal with.
That security guard was no more a valuable or reliable employee than a serial killer would be.

Nice set up at Leighoak, big spacious bistro. My parents had the $10 seniors meals, very nice and a decent size. I had roast pork for $21, generous serving and everything was nice. They have promotions on meals Tues to Friday. Well worth trying.

My first time and it's great. I enjoyed everything. The staff was amazing, friendly, helpful and very skilled. Highly recommend.

Lovely meals at decent prices. By chance we visited tonight (Tuesday night), and it was 2 meals for 1. Bargain had a roast of the day and the Parma for just $21 for both meals!!

LeighOak Hotel has had a very prominent sign out the front of there Hotel in Dandenong Road for over a month, indicating that they serve meals, but if you go by the sign and arrange a group of friends to meet you there for LUNCH or DINNER, or expect some food while playing POKERS, “THE KITCHEN IS CLOSED”. There is “NO TEMPORARY SIGN OUT ON DANDENONG ROAD INDICATING THIS”.
“MY ADVICE AVOID THIS HOTEL”, because the only food available is bag of potato chips or peanuts !!!.

Just had the porterhouse steak with the chef's glaze sauce, it was by far one of the best steaks I have had. Perfect size, perfectly cooked and the veggies were tasty too. The renovations were long overdue but worth the wait, place is much less closterphobic and bright, well done Leighoak Club. Also great to have Nicole back she's the best!

Just had a refurbishment and feels much fresher. Glad the prices diddn't go up after the refirb. Meals are pretty good.

Its hard to choose if its the friendly welcome or the awesome chats with Bron but the Leighoak is great venue with great vibes. Everytime we are in the area we drop by. Bron makes you feel at ease and has a smile and chat or a giggle waiting for you.

I play poker here on a Saturday and the venue has just recently had further refurbishment and looks fantastic! Big shout out to Bronnie who is one of the best bartenders out there!

If you're going for food, enter off the main road or you're hit with a wall of pokies. The service is friendly with plenty of staff who seem to know the locals. Food is reasonable and not overpriced, for the beer lover there isn't much range so don't expect much.

Having lived through the renovations I have to say week in week out the porterhouse steak is the gold medal meal at this establishnent. Been coming back for it for the past 10 years. Become a member (Melbourne football club affiliate) and save. The Fisherman's basket is also good value and the fish is currently genuine Hake (not bassa) Yay!

Had a Christmas dinner with a group of of friends. Had the set menu of pumpkin soup, a trio of 3 meats consisting of ham, turkey and port with veggies. Unfortunately the turkey and pork was over cooked and tough! Good venue!

Friendly staff every time, great variety of push machines that pay and who can go past the “bull rush” feature! Stop by for a Kahlua and milk if your in the area.
