Went here for lunch to enjoy the warm winter's day. Food was pretty good overall - very happy to find ourselves there on kids eat free Sundays! Standard beers on tap. Outdoor area is the nicest place to sit with a little playground for the kids. Inside smells quite strongly of cigarettes unfortunately. Customer service is top notch, super friendly and accommodating 👌

Went here for lunch last Friday for chicken Schnitzel, wasn't to bad ,but the crown hotel camden has alot bigger ones.

Went here for dinner in October and ordered a schnitzel & chips and a southern fried chicken burger.
When the food arrive, the schnitzel was triple the size of the southern fried chicken and the southern fried chicken was smaller than the size of an iphone. I didn’t touch the southern fried chicken burger and requested to swap it as since the two meals were both $20+ each, I was unhappy with the size of chicken I was getting. I spoke to the manager and she wasn’t happy to let me swap the item and would not offer any alternative.
My partner asked if we could just buy another schnitzel and the chef was happy with our request and charged us an extra $5 for the size of a third of the normal schnitzel.
The food was not bad but the previous experience at the beginning in regards to the size of the meal and dealing with the unhelpful manager just ruined it for us.
Just hope other customers are aware of the terrible size of the southern fried chicken burger you get when you pay over $20+, just get normal schnitzel instead.

Wanted to share my experience dining in with my mother. We had the lamb shank and nachos. The food was not only delicious but the servings are generous enough to take home for dinner.
Courtney and Charmaine were absolutely wonderful. Very welcoming from the moment with arrived from Courtney bringing our drinks and food to the table and Charmaine checking how our food was and giving us a take out box to take the food home.
The premises are clean and well maintained.
Has an old school homely atmosphere.

Visited this pub on 28-06-2024 and had an extremely unpleasant experience with the manager on duty. Despite only having 3 beers and none of us being intoxicated, the manager accused us of inappropriate behavior and threatened to call the police. This was completely unwarranted and felt like a clear case of discrimination. The service was terrible, and the staff were rude and unprofessional. One of the worst pubs in southwest Leppington. Avoid this place if you want to have a good time without being treated unfairly!

Two nights ago I had my 18th birthday dinner at lockies Hotel the atmosphere was great the service from the workers was amazing it's a very lovely quite pub which is great for me as I don't like loud noisy place I really enjoyed the food as did my family it was the perfect place to get together and enjoy each other's company massive thanks to the hotel n staff all the ladies made me feel so comfortable

The customer service is great, food was amazing decent size, 3 ladies that is fostered on today friendly polite and willing to have a chat.
Will definitely go back there again for a meal

Old Country Pub been around for a while now. The food was amazing, fresh and hot. The staff were friendly. Love the wood interior.

Me and my family came to Rockies for dinner. The minute we walked in ,we where greeted by courtney.
We sat down, Courtney asked if we would like any drinks while we waited for food. Great service from the other lady's bek and Margaret.
The food was great the place was nice, neat and presented well.

Lockies is our favourite place to have a good feed with the fam. The food portions are great and the quality of food is amazing. Customer service is absolutely wonderful! all staff are all so accommodating, friendly and they all make you feel like part of the family. Had the schnitzel, rump and burger. The schnitzel was so so good! the texture crunchy and chicken super moist. The beef burger was amazing and so was the rump. Hands down the best pub in the area. Way better than Willowdale in my opinion. This place is soo underrated.

Just had a function in the beer garden. This place is a hidden gem. A little rough around the edges but can not fault the service or food. Compliments to the chef. Everything was cooked to perfection. The staff were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and everyone was super friendly. All our guests loved every minute of it. Anyone looking for a great function space should consider here. Thanks again for making our night so great!

I was treated to dinner at this place by some friends. The tables are really clean and the doors are nicely air sealed. There's an exterior area but no smoking fumes can get inside.
I was happily surprised to see how child friendly this place was too. Wide walking areas also reduce any accidents happening. The exposed ceiling area gives the place very spacious feel to it.
Okay, now the chips and burgers are really special. Zero grease on the plates and on my fingers when I pick up the burgers. The burger is a really filling one. Really requires 2 hands. A worth-your-money multi-chomper. The beets inside mix well with the nicely grilled patty inside. I'm glad gravy here has been made without excess sugar or salt. It's perfect. Enjoyed the meal so much we bought takeaway for someone who wasn't able to join us.
I tried the fish and chicken schnitzels and gosh they're yummy. Not too hard, not too watery. Not too salty and not too crumby. A very clean and well presented meal. Also, I had an apple cider given without a cap, this means less noisy rubbish on the table. A small detail I appreciate, especially when kids could easily pick it up and bite it, as I have seen happen twice elsewhere. I'm glad small details like this are considered.

I love this place. Great food at value prices. Large servings. Great music (classics from the sixties thru eighties). Rustic atmosphere. Big screen TV’s to enjoy the footy while you eat.

I have been to this hotel many times over the last couple of years and enjoyed myself most of the time. Since the new management has taken over the only thing that has remained the same was the pokies, as usual. The atmosphere is non existent because there’s no one there unless they’re in the pokies room. The new staff are not friendly, not accommodating and have no idea about hospitality. I have been in n hospitality for thirty years and the only person I would employ from that establishment is the islander bouncer who seems to be the only person in the place that knows how to treat customers. They offered me a pack of chips when they used to serve hot food to the gamblers.,. Seems they can’t afford a pack of sausage rolls with all that money fro the pokies room…

I come here weekly and love it as a regular. They have a beer of the month, raffles, the most friendly staff, pool table, heaps of seating both indoors and outdoors, clean facilities and heaps of parking. Lovely place to wind down and have a drink after work or to hang out with mates or family.

Exceptional service, very friendly, welcoming and efficient. Very large servings and delicious food. Ordered the lamb shanks which was moist and fell off the bone. The chicken schnitzel was equally delicious and the garlic sauce on top was very fragrant and creamy. The rump and t-bone were cooked to absolute perfection. The sticky date pudding and apple crumble were insanely delicious! Very cheap food and drinks ….. cocktails probably the cheapest in Sydney! Definitely will be back!
Update: Went back again today and had the steak sandwich, salmon, salt and pepper squid. All dishes were fantastic. The steak sandwich was on par with Kirribilli 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽. Kevin has phenomenal customer service skills. 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

Decided to go to have lunch at Lockies with my parents as we were passing by. Ordered the ribs, schnitzel, rump and seafood basket. Firstly, the service was absolutely amazing. Very friendly and welcoming from the moment we got in. The food was fantastic also. Ribs were very tender and fell off the bone, schnitzel was moist and crunchy and steak perfectly cooked. Everything was very tasty. This place is such a hidden gem, a must if you are in the area.

Charmaine and Thai make the atmosphere there. Family and I won’t go anywhere else with our spare time. Family like atmosphere makes me want to spend any spare time at lockies

After all the years (20)of driving by on the way back and forth to work,I finally stop in for a peek,pitstop before it (thinking)closes down!!!!!No way or any time soon, Looks very deceiving from the front!!Reminds me of the old "Sweeney's "ingleburn. Just another typical old country pub,lovely set up even the play list brought back memories. 👌

Absolutely Disgusting! Do not come here if you don’t want to get pregnant from the toilet seat. Bathrooms are disgusting, filthy tables and Staff avoided us. Absolutely Rude Ladies who work there. They Must Generally look angry. Go to Willowdale Hotel 2 minutes away and receive the best service and the best food. I also Recommend Gregory Hills Hotel.
