Worst Roast of the day. Was turkey, tiny vegetables, not hot and the lowest standard of small cold serving ever. Used to be good. Construction site considered don't offer meals if you can't manage it.

Went to the lockleys for a pint and parmi with my mates and the service was incredible. Especially Izzy, she greeted us with a big smile and was extremely polite. The parmis were very good and crisp. Will definitely be back soon!

Went to a family gathering with about 15 of us last night. The service was excellent. They came to check that everyone had ordered our meals which we had. Our meals came out and everyone got theres with no one waiting. Oh and they were awesome. Not one complaint from anyone of us. Staff are lovely and helpful. Highly recommend this place.

Went for lunch on Sunday 29th October. Service is excellent, prices for the food quite good and food is good as well. I have only 1 gripe. When you order the pork roast you expect pork crackling but there was none. For me that is why I have a pork roast otherwise very enjoyable.

Went for lunch in the sports bar why the young girls were excellent with service but the old ladie who I assume is the manager there was incredibly rude, looked at me like iv got no money, questioned me if I was having lunch, like come on who sits in the dinning area and doesn't eat. like I think I'm pretty well presentable so I duno why she even questioned me maby because I'm a different shade of colour than her,who knows... but I can say because of Herr I won't be spending the amount of money here that I did today between me and my friend we spent ova 1500 and yet it was to much for her when I asked bread rolls it's like there's a shortage or sumthing on rolls. Wouldn't hurt to smile like honestly your in customer service why when you got no customer service

This used to be our regular place for birthdays a few times a year because they let us bring a birthday cake in for free, but over the last year or two they started charging a $25 cackage fee, regardless of how many people they're serving. Management were very rude when explaining this and made our last experience pretty ordinary, so we'll find a new place to do our birthday celebrations in future.

The staff were realy nice. Good old fashion service & the seniors meals were great value. My wife had the very popular Lambs Fry & Bacon and unfortunately it was over cooked. As a result it was chewy & grainy. Other than tat all was good. Cheers Paul.

The only downer was the meal. Beef schnitzel came with chips and a salad. Schnitzel was a good size and not too thick, chips were under done and soft, and the salad was the most tired looking mix I'd ever seen with no dressing.

The location for an early flight was great. The bed was comfortable and clean.|These are the two redeeming qualities of this hotel. |First was the confusion as to where the accommodation section was - amongst the renovations. |The meal we purchased was average in cost, though expensive for what we received. Like a small senior's/kids meals in size with minimum vegetable accompaniment. Simple food done poorly.|Lights on in the construction zone all night despite the curtains. |Hopefully when the renovations are completed the rooms will be better, and the meals will be improved.

The hotel catered well for a large crowd of people. Food was brought out close together. The standard sized chicken parmigiana, chips, salad and additional vegetables cost $36 which is not cheap. It's good they have the option for a half schnitzel at a lesser price (about $5 cheaper). A plain schnitzel, chips and salad is a good price, so too the specials of the day which includes a 250g steak on Monday for about $22. The senior meals must be good value because the seniors were happy. My food was Luke warm but the crowd of 40 was unusual so that's forgivable. Taste was fine. Vegetables clearly from bain mariee and with a butter sauce. We ordered two of the same (chicken parmigiana) and shared them with our 1 and 3 year old. There was plenty to share. We got one dessert (sticky date pudding and icecream) for our children to share, but it was too much for them, so we had a good amount each as well. We didn't realise there was a kids meal option with a drink and dessert included. Still, our method was slightly cheaper. Kids meals are best for those 4 years plus from what I've observed, when they have more of an appetite. Plenty of room for little ones. We brought toys and they played near the table. I'd obviously rate this hotel higher if they had a playground or playspace with toys available. Worth a visit for a crowd.

Seating, felt very squashed in. There was 9 of us with wheelchair, felt like we had been put in corner. Most of the nine enjoyed their meals, my friend and i had warm chicken salad, we had plate full of greenery with three pieces of chicken. Flavour was good.

Poor servce and attitude during closing seems everyone is already exhausted and just wanna finished their duties that led to confusion of orders and some negligence with food safety. Wont post the photo of it.But I think the staff and crew should come up a retraining before they can work and practice good attitude after the renovations Thanks to the Manager for being apologetic. By then hopefully I can recommend the place no offense meant just my opinion and suggestion.✌️

Outdated, located above a casino and no elevator to get your heavy luggage to your room. |Rooms are smallish, but fully equipped. Good bed. Friendly staff (in the casino, where you've got to check in). It's about 15 minutes by taxi from the airport.

"No lift and just stairs" This place is close to the airport. We had like 8 luggages with us, and only reaching the hotel knew there is no lift. Had to carry up n down on stairs. The hotel people were helpful in organising an early morning taxi to airport. They have a bottle shop next to their property. Good for a night stay. Hot water shower was good.

Nice looking restaurant, good service. First thing is the price are high that I didn't mind but when the food came out a chicken schnitzel with gravy. The smell wasn't great, breadcrumbs where has a strange flavour, chicken taste like it was off, frozen for too long or not cleaned. My kids ordered chicken nuggets and they where the same but processed chicken.

I was really hoping this pub would be awesome as we moved into the area and this is our local. Whilst the schnitzels (on schnitzel night) were ok, it wasn't anything special, chips weren't really that hot and salad a bit lifeless. Was definitely edible and gravy pretty good but not worth going back to (even if within walking distance). Service was quite nice however especially after a big day for the staff at Melbourne cup.

I don't like this place. I hate the fact that they manipulated people into gambling. I think places like this should be banned. So sorry people are not seeing what gambling is doing to Australian citizens! And bring your kids to this kind of environment should be prohibited! I know you don't really see the pokies but gambling product placement is everywhere in this place. Be a good citizen and stop supporting places like this!

I did not receive my meal. Everyone else had finished their meals. After a lot of arguing with the manager who offered me another meal, which I would have had to pay for, we asked for a refund, and it took a lot more arguing again, finally I received my refund. Very loud, I couldn't hear friends across the table. Margaritas took ages to make and weren't very nice !

I can't comment on the rooms because I only had a meal there. The main restaurant/bistro area was undergoing renovations, but the area open to the public for meals while the renovations are going on was more than adequate and aesthetic, creating a good vibe in which to enjoy a meal with a friend. The menu had plenty of options to choose from and the team working behind the bar and on meals and waiting were excellent. A shout out to young Max who was professional, yet fun and friendly in his approaching giving us good cause to have a laugh. Max will go a long way with his charisma. Overall, a nice affordable meal, with a great team of workers in an easy to get to location with plenty of parking.

Dinner in the sports bar as the restaurant was booked out. Same menu. Pretty full but not so noisy that we couldn’t speak to each other. Appreciated that the kids meals came with veges they could actually eat. The dessert comes in little plastic tubs (kids). We had the chicken parmigiana. It was nice.

Currently undergoing renovations and it’s just a total worksite…food prepared offsite and it shows…stale rolls, tough as boots steak and sad withered salad. Such a shame as it used to be a great local pup with friendly prompt service/ staff but I would avoid until renovations are complete.

Cheap and cheerful, less than 10 mins drive to the airport (factor in $12 -$20 for a taxi/uber). The hotel is very retro, felt like stepping back into the 80s. Room was very clean and comfortable, quiet and great for a night's rest. As we arrived late and left early for our flight, didn't get to try and pub grub but Hungry Jack's is next door and a 24 hr petrol station opposite for late night feed.

Awful!|Seniors roast and 1/2 beef schnitzel for partner. |Couldn't cut slabs of roast beef, roast vegetables not freshly cooked - reheated and cold peas. Gravy greasy.|Schnitzel overcooked,|Chips reheated. Soggy salad.|Won't ever go back.|What a waste of money
