We’ve been living in this area for about 6 months, but only realised this place was here tonight. We had a delicious mushroom soup and a minestrone soup (it was the night for soups😉) + one of us also tried the pork. All meals were really excellent, tasty and gorgeously presented. The service was great too! The place was recently renovated and looks beautiful with a nice ambience. I would highly recommend this place to visit for both the food and the atmosphere experience.

Went with family for dinner after recommendation about lunchtime service being excellent, found that the wait staff on dinner shift seemed haphazard.
With drinks forgotten about until a 3rd prompting, no check in to make sure meals were ok after being served, desserts forgotten about to serve to table, including not informing us that one of our options had already been completely 86'd.
The staff were all friendly and apologetic but it felt aimless and like there was no communication taking place. No substitutions or alterations allowed but this wasn't communicated to us. When asking for the largest glass for our drinks they served it in a pot size glass.
Will not be going back during dinnertime after this.

We attended the dawn service along with hundreds of locals. Beautifully read ceremony by the President of the RSL and the Reverend. It was our first time attending one, and we found it emotional and informative. The torch was lit, and the wreaths were laid by all members of the community, covering many organisations, military and local, which was lovely to see. We were impressed with the number of young people that were there. Beautiful way to celebrate our first, of hopefully many, Anzac days. Knocks the socks off the events we've attended in the UK in the past.

Waited over an hour for our meals, Chicken was dry, 1 small slice of meat in the seniors roast, Expensive for what we got, Atmosphere was nice , Staff very friendly

The staff and food are absolutely amazing, As a current serving member of the ADF I couldn’t recommend the advocate team more highly than the team at Long beach RSL. Truly the best meals around

The service at this RSL, especially in the dining area, equals 5 star, and that includes the quality of food as well. The staff are efficient and friendly. Will certainly be going back there again. Thank you, Longbeach RSL

The meals and atmosphere are fine. However today's coffee was almost cool. I t was annoying that the bar tender said it was hot. I think I know what is cool. Another bar tender put hot water in it. It was too hot to drink. I had this problem a few months ago. The customer is not always wrong.

Service on a saturday night is slow, wait staff attended to needs prompty but kitchen staff took its time pushing out dishes. I witnessed wait staff arguing with kitchen staff. I ordered a bottle of wine and almost finished it by the time food came. The food was piping hot and cooked quite well however I have to ask myself is it worth waiting an hour and half for? Prehap not. I also reassured staff for the food to be gluten free. They later offered garlic bread as an apology... that is all.

poor food we gave you a chance came back last night ordered our dinner lamb shanks and coconut prawns only to be told sorry we ran out then ordered steak which was which was so dry and burnt like charcoal never again adding just now on the 12th April ring to book a table to be told not enough staff can't book anyone else in at 7pm what the he'll I'm done no care factor for a manager as no one has bothered to call back

Ordered spaghetti vongole - waited for our meals which was not an issue as they were busy. Flavour was absolutely delicious but for $28 pasta quantity was entree size and I left hungry. Very disappointed. Pasta is cheap so a main size of spaghetti would not have cost them. Our whole table thought this meal was small especially compared to the other meals. The managers response to my feedback was I could have ordered something else. Shouldn't have had to at that price.

Nice inside. Pretty standard menu but meal was ok. Not much choice of beers on tap but overall was nice ambience plenty of parking good service and we'll go back

Last night I had dinner with my wife at Long Beach RSL. Great service and the food was awesome. I ate more than I should have but it was too nice not to finish lol. I'll be going back again.

I have driven past this RSL many times and never actually gone inside. Tonight we decided to give it a go and were pleasantly surprised. Not only was it very neat with great table service but the food was fantastic

I had the pleasure of dining at. The ambiance was warm and inviting, creating a comfortable atmosphere for a meal. The quality of the food was exceptional. The staff's hospitality and attention to detail further contributed to a memorable dining experience. And the price is reasonable!

I became a member some 6 months ago after having a delicious meal one night after work.
Everytime I go to this RSL it is a great experience. The service is great, the beer is really cold and the plates are just delicious.
I can't go wrong... I need to start visiting other RSL to see if there are any differences.

Haven’t been here for lunch in quite some time but they have a new chef and the food is really really good! The lamb dish was amazing and so was the curry. Delicious Sunday lunch.

Great place and friendly staff.
The meals are great especially the Lamb shank, though had a seniors meal yesterday for a change and very nice for a lunch time break.
It’s a great place for large groups with family and friends and birthdays, make you book in advance.

First time visitors and we were very impressed with the bistro here. The decor and comfortable modern furnishings created a lovely setting, and the ambiance was very relaxed and not noisy. It was nice to be able to have a conversation with good background music playing. Thoroughly enjoy our meals, the lamb shanks and porterhouse steak were both cooked perfectly to our request and served with delicious fresh veggies . The young staff working the evening of Saturday 11/11 appeared highly efficient and special mention to waitstaff Jett and Jacob in the bar for their especially great service.

Certainly a grand feel inside and one of the more upper class RSL.
The service was friendly and efficient.
The prices I thought was a bit on the steep side, ie $29 for a burger and chips.
I got the satay chicken meal with a share chips.
Both good quality and tasty meals.
Clearly a popular dish as a few tables had it served to them.
Food wait times, quite reasonable considering how busy they were.
Recommend booking and before leaving, taking a look at the displays.

Best RSL meal we’ve ever had! Lamb shanks done to perfection and whole family agrees the food was amazing. Staff were really friendly and helpful and the facilities are spotless.
